To all whom it may concern.-

Be it known that I, RICHARD J AHN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Brook;

The guard consists of ausingle piece of wire bent to provide a vertical shank which includes companion legs 1yand2bent forwardly at their upper ends 8 toprovide a downwardly extending spring attaching hook l, which hook is adapted to be sprung over the upper edge of the pocket when the guard is adjusted to position. In the modification shown in Fig. 3, a single strand of wire is bent at its middle portion as at 14l-1l, so as to provide the angular or shank portion 15; the. wire is then bent forwardly at 16 -16 and doubled upon itself so as to form the loop portions 17-17 which are similar in shape to the loops shown in the previously described form. After forming these loops, which are 1 protected by the covering 18, the wire is bent inwardly as indicated at 19--l9 and is then doubled uponitself, thus providing theattaching arms 2020. It is to be understood that the wire is spring wire, and by virtue of. the resiliency of the arms 20-80, a safety-pin 21 or the like may be engaged by the arms for the purpose of securing the guard within the pocket. What is claimed as new is: l. A safety single piece of attaching 10 extending guard angles thereto; v

2. A watch guard comprising a single piece of Wire having an intermediate attaching portion and laterally extending ,15 guard portions disposed at right angles thereto.
