IMPROVEMENT IN SHELF-BRACKETS AND CLOTHES-HOOKS.
The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and-making part:l of the same.

The figure is a side view of my improved bracket and hooks.
My invention has for its object to furnish au improved bracket for use in clothes-closets and other places, which'shall be so constructed as to support a l shelf, and at the same time' serve as hooks for hangin'g clothes, and which shall economize space by allowiig a greater quantity of clothes to be hung upon t em than can be hung in the same space when the ordinary clothes-hooks are used; -and l `It consists in thecombined shelf-bracket and clotheshooks constructed as hereinafter more fully described.
A is the horizontal, and B, the inclined arm ofthe bracket, which meet each other at an acute angle.
- Upon the free ends of the arms`A and B are formed `feet a b in line with each other, and at right angles with the horizontal arm A.

Instead of making the inclined arm B straight, the hooks G may curve from one to another, giving the arm a scroll forni, or it may be made ornamental in any other` manner.
The horizontal ailn A may have holes formed in it to receive screws to hold theshelt` in place `upon it, as indicated by dotted lines in the figure.
Having thus described my invention,
I claim as new and desire to secure by Let-ters Patent- An improved combined shelf-bracket and clotheshooks A B G, constructed and'operating substantially as herein shown and described, and for the purpose set forth.
