Be it known that I, RUSSEL C.' CASE, of the town of Gruilde'rland, county of Albany and State of New York, have invented certain new and-useful Improvements in Dining-Tables; and I hereby declare that the following is a full and exactdes'criptiou of the same,
reference being had to the accompanying drawing and .to the letters of reference marked thereon, the same letters always' referring to the samevpart of said im,- provement. v
The improvementconsists in auadjustable circular center piece, which may be elevated above the surrounding side's or margin of the table, and in this position be made to revolve upon its centelgforthe purpose of bringing in front ot' those seated at'the table,.- and within their reach, any article placedtlilereon,
thus dispensing with the necessity of'employing persons .to distribute articles of food or drink, either by reaching over andacross the table or by passing around it. It is made adjustable for the purpose of depressl ing the center piece to a level with the plane of the v surrounding sides of the table, so as` to bring the top of the table to one plane surface as an ordinary table for other uses.
