IMPROVEMENT IN WINDOW-BLINDS.-
The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making pari; ofthe same.
I, STEPHEN POCOGK, of the town of Woodstock, in the county of Oxford and Province of Ontario, in the Dominion of Canada, have invented certain 1mprovcments in WndowBlinds, to be called the OX- ford Window-Blind of which the following is a speciicatiou, the matin-el and object ofthe invent-ion being thc construction of a .cheap and durable windowblind.

General Description.
i 'A are the slats, which are made ot' suitable wood, and are about one-eighth of an inch thick by about oneinch and seven-eighths of an inch wide, varying in length, according to the width of the blinds for which they are made.
YThese slats A are fastened, by two or more nails or tacks in each Slat, to the strips of braid B, or other suitable material, and so as to lap slightlyoue over the other, the top end of these strips of braid B being nailed or fastened to`the top blar C, which is secured to the top of tbe windowframe.

I claim as my iuvention- The combination of the slats A, the strips of braid B, the top bar O, the rollers F G, the bottom rail E, and the cord D, substantially as and for the purpose hereinbefore set forth.
