subject of the Emperor of Austria-Hungary,
and a res'i ent of Vienna, in the Empire of 5 Austria-Hungary. have invented new and useful Improvements in Breast Holders, of which the following is a specification.-
My present invention relates to breast. holders for women and more particularly to,
an adjustable holder which may be used conjunction with a corset or other garment which retains its position by a .close fit.
The objects-of my invention areto provide a breast holder which may be adjustable in substantially all directions and so constructed as i to conform substantially with, or to attain the desired contour of the breast.
In the drawings, forming apart of this Figure 1 is afront elevation of the breast holder embodyingmy' invention. Fi 2 is an elevation of a back portion used in conjunction with said breast holder.

The adjustment of the device is as fol.- lows: The breast holders are laced, or otherwise secured to the corset according to the approximate position they are to assume when inplace. The straps 9 and 15 are positioned and secured as desired which retains the holders in position both vertically and horizontally, The individual linings l are then drawn to fit properly witl respect to. their upper and lower margin or to attain the desired contour of the breast by the aidv of lace 5v and tape 6, the whalebones having been previously positioned as desired and for the purpose hereinbefore described.
I'claim: V In a breast holder, a suitable frame'work provided with a lining (4) for engaging the breast, means (5 -6) adjusting said lining at its upper and lower margins and independently of each other, a plurality of pockets (11) carried by said lining and extending intermediate the upper and lower margins BBUCKNER,
