To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, ALBERT L. FRANCE, ofthe city of Wilmington, in the State of Delaware, have invented a new and-useful Combined Anti-Battlingv Shutter-Bower, Stayback, and Fastener; and lI do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear,and exact description of the construction and operation of thesanie, reference heilig had to the annexed drawing'maliinga part of this specification, in which-'- Figure '1 is a front inside view of thc window, with the shutters bowed vby means of the bowcr. Nature and Objects of Iilwcntion.
M'y invention relates to a movable pivoted latch, dog, or brace, fastened to the sill of the window in' such position that itwill readily work into a catch having holes in its'i'ace, aud fastened upon the inside lace ot' the shutter, and bow open the shut/ter at ditferent angles, and also working or shuttnginto a rabbcted plate set in the heel or lower end of the shutter when opened ont against the wall, so as to hold it lirmly back, and prevent rattling.
General Description.
