IMPROVED PORTABLE :BATH-SEAT.
The Schedule referred to Ain these Letters Patent and making part: of the same vented a new and useful Portable Bath-Seat, of which the following is a specification.
My invention relates to a movable seat, which may be conveniently attached to .a bath-tub, and readily removed, when not required for use.
It may serve to encourage personalv cleanliness, in places destitute ot bath-rooins, by facilitating the .act of bathing, where it has, hitherto been quite inconvenient.

Figure 2, an under view ofthe same detached.
A is the seat, of wood, or any other suitable in'aterial. Its dimensions, for medium sizes, are about fourthe necessary strength.
It is arranged to slope slightly toward the tub, to carry back thereto any water which may drip on it,
teen by sixteen inches, with sutiicientv thickness for v when .in use.
l B is a supporting-leg, of suitable length, driven or screwed into the under side of the seat, or hinged to it, as may be desired.
It may be made adjustable, for tubs of various height-s, in any convenient manner. Two legs may be used, if preferred. v l

The practical use of this apparatus is too apparent to require description.
Small sizes, adapted for children, may he made for use wtha water-pail.
I claim as my invention- The seat A, constructed substantially as described, and provided with the leg or legs B and projections C, or their equivalents, as and for the purposes specitied.
