To all whom it 'may concern:
Beit known that I, Hormon BONHAM, of the city and county of Philadelphia and State of Pennsylvania,
`have-invented a new and improved Gcphalic-Meter';
and I do hereby declarethat the following is a full,
. clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawing forming a part of this specification, in `which-#- Figure l is a perspective view, and Figures 2 and 3 sectional elevations of two different constructions of my meter. I
. The object `had in view in making this invention was the production of Van apparatus by which to take the exact outline of the human head, for the purpose of facilitating the fitting 'ofhat-s.
The invention consists of a band of lead or such other material as can be readily bent'to conform to" the shape of the head, and such as retains any form which `may ybe given it, such bandbeing covered with leather and combined with a socket furnished with' a set-screw, and attached to4 one end of the band,.and
with a graduated tonguefastened to the other end of the band, which tongue enters the socket and may be clamped therein by the set-screw, sogas to retain the measurements after they have been obtained.
