Be it known that I, HUBERT L. J non, of Brooklyn,'in thev county of Kings and Stateof N ew York,
have inventedand-m ndeanuImprovement iny Nails y ihr Pictures, &c., and the following is declared to be a correct description thereof.
In the manufacture of picture-nails, it is usual to I havev an ornamental head that is removable from the body or-nail byrnnscrewing, or otherwise, so that the nail may be driven and then 'the head attached there-- to. This course has been adopted to prevent injury to the ornamental'bead in dliving the nail.
My invention is made for the pufpe 0f allowing" the nail to be driven without the removal of the head, and without risk of injuring the ornamental head, except by' vcz'nelessness.` v
