Abstract
The invention relates to mining industry and can be used for concentration of nonstandard lump hematite ores for the purpose of obtaining iron-ore raw material. A method of concentration of iron-ore raw material includes extraction of initial product, splitting, crushing, classification and separation with separating the obtained product into tails of concentration and iron-containing product. Initial product after extraction is subject to successive two-stage crushing, as a result of which a product is obtained, the size of particles of which does not exceed 80 mm. At the next second stage of crushing a material with particle size is obtained, which does not exceed 15 mm, which is sent for screening, as a result of which an undersize is obtained with particle size, which does not exceed 3 mm, and a retained product, the size of particles of which is 3-15 mm. The undersize is sent for crushing, the particles, which size does not exceed 1 mm, are obtained, and they are subject to gravitational separation, as a result of which an iron-containing product and tails of concentration are obtained. The retained product is subject to magnetic separation, forming two flows, one of which - magnetic – is sent for crushing and subsequent gravitational separation, and another flow - nonmagnetic – consists of the tails of concentration. The implementation of invention provides for working technogenic deposits represented by stored nonstandard slightly magnetic ores, and also open rocks that do not comprise ore minerals.
