A unit for transporting and cleaning tuberous roots consists of a frame, a feed conveyer, a baffle brush, a grating cleaner, an activator, and also of a gravity separator and an unloading conveyer. The cleaner is made as a driving hollow cone, arranged as an inclined one which is made by transversal rods disposed with gaps, with vertex thereof directed downwards, and has inside of the generating surface a radial hollow of a round shape. The activator is made as a conical reducer connected with a drive of rotational movement. Brushes, console rods of which feel the radial hollow of the cone, are fixed at the end of two axles of the reducer.
