Abstract
A device for transporting and cleaning tuberous roots consists of a frame, a feeding conveyer, a baffle brush, a cleaner, an unloading conveyer mounted in series. The cleaner is made as a hollow cone, the vortex of which is directed downwards, inside of which a rotary heap distributor, which is connected to a rotary actuator, is vertically mounted. The cleaner also comprises at the end of driving console shaft, which is disposed inside the hollow cone, at the same distance from each other and as regard to the shaft, three pairs of vertical cylindrical hinges are fixed. The hinges are arranged in each of the pairs diametrically opposite, and the axles of the hinges are in parallel to the axis of the shaft, and onto the hinges themselves flat elastic blades are arranged. The lengths of the blades decrease in the direction from above downwards, and the upper pair of the blades contains short rifles on planes thereof.
