A method for producing cast short-circuited winding of the rotors of electric motors includes assembly of a mould with a core, preheating thereof and filling with copper melt. For the purpose of improvement of the quality and reliability of electric motors, on the external surface of core a layer from thermal insulation material is applied, heating of the core is conducted to 910 – 960 °C, and the copper melt is filled at 1240-1300 °C.
