Abstract

Розкритим є співполімер, містить багатовалентний катіон, отриманий з однієї або декількох етиленненасичених кислот. Співполімер має наступні характеристики: (а) внутрішню в'язкість щонайменше приблизно 3 дл/г при вимірюванні в 1М розчині NaCl при 25 °C; (b) співполімер є отриманим з мономерної суміші, яка включає етиленненасичену кислоту та щонайменше один співмономер, причому етиленненасичена кислота присутня в кількості в діапазоні від приблизно 5 % до приблизно 65 % за масою; та (с) вміст залишкового співмономера становить менше ніж 1000 м.ч., коли співмономер являє собою акриламід. Співполімер, серед іншого, є прийнятним як флокулянт для обробки водної суспензії, яка включає дисперсний матеріал, переважно відходи збагачення від видобутку корисних копалин.
