Изобретение касается устройства для скрепления полотна материала (F), сформованного из волокон и/или элементарных нитей, где указанное устройство содержит: сетчатую ленту (S), которая несет полотно материала (F); сопловую балку (D), расположенную над сетчатой лентой (S), для обработки полотна материала (F) воздействием жидкости под давлением в виде множества струй жидкости (W), расположенных по меньшей мере в один ряд; и всасывающее устройство, расположенное под сетчатой лентой (S), которое взаимодействует с сопловой балкой (D) и содержит всасывающую щель (А). Изобретение отличается тем, что струи жидкости (W) бьют по полотну материала (F) в области расположения всасывающей щели (А).
