Abstract
Description
本發明係關於一種基材密接性優異之活性能量線硬化型樹脂組成物、使用其之金屬薄膜用底塗劑及使用上述金屬薄膜用底塗劑之成形體。
汽車零件、家電製品、化妝品容器等中具有金屬光澤之部分廣泛使用有藉由真空蒸鍍或濺鍍等方法形成鋁或錫等金屬之薄膜之技術。於該技術中,為了提高基材與金屬薄膜之密接性,或者形成更平滑之金屬薄膜而提高設計性等,一般於基材與金屬薄膜之間設置底塗層。
上述汽車零件中,外飾車燈透鏡之反射鏡等要求高耐熱性或耐衝擊性、輕量化之零件廣泛利用BMC(塊狀模料)、PPS(聚苯硫醚)、ALD(鋁壓鑄件)、PBT(聚對酞酸丁二酯)/PET(聚對酞酸乙二酯)合金樹脂、PC(聚碳酸酯)、ABS(丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚樹脂)、藉由玻璃纖維等填料而強化之PC(聚碳酸酯)等塑膠基材作為基材。又,汽車零件或家電製品等亦有組合數種基材而成之零件,或具有複雜凹凸之形狀之零件等。因此,對上述底塗層要求與該等多種塑膠基材之密接性及與金屬薄 膜之密接性之兩者優異,且要求亦可追隨複雜形狀之柔軟性。
作為此種金屬薄膜用底塗層,例如已知有如下技術:其係由醇酸樹脂與聚丙烯酸酯化合物構成之紫外線硬化型樹脂組成物,併用二苯甲酮與二甲胺基苯甲酸異戊酯作為光聚合起始劑,利用單第三丁基對苯二酚作為聚合抑制劑(參照專利文獻1)。專利文獻1中記載之紫外線硬化型樹脂組成物雖具有作為醇酸樹脂與聚丙烯酸酯化合物之摻合物之以往課題的保存穩定性優異之特徵,但基材密接性不充分,尤其是要求高溫條件下之基材密接性之進一步提高。

因此,本發明所欲解決之課題在於提供一種基材密接性優異之活性能量線硬化型樹脂組成物、使用其之金屬薄膜用底塗劑及使用上述金屬薄膜用底塗劑之成形體。
本發明人等為了解決上述課題而反覆進行潛心研究,結果發現:藉由於含有醇酸樹脂及分子結構中具有不飽和鍵之聚合性化合物之活性能量線硬化型樹脂組成物中添加具有特定結構之酚化合物,並利用具有特定結構之化合物作為光聚合起始劑,使基材密接性顯著提高,最終完成 本發明。

上述醇酸樹脂(A)係以多元酸(a1)、多元醇(a2)及油脂或脂肪酸(a3)作為必需成分而獲得之聚酯樹脂。
上述多元酸(a1)例如可列舉:丙二酸、丁二酸、戊二酸、己二酸、庚二酸、辛二酸、壬二酸、癸二酸、十一烷二酸、十二烷二酸、十三烷二酸、十四烷二酸、十五烷二酸、十六烷二酸、十七烷二酸、十八烷二酸、十九烷二酸、二十烷二酸等脂肪族二元酸;四氫酞酸、順丁烯二酸、順丁烯二酸酐、反丁烯二酸、檸康酸、伊康酸、戊烯二酸等脂肪族不飽和二元酸或其酐;六氫酞酸、1,4-環己烷二羧酸等脂環族二元酸;酞酸、酞酸酐、對酞酸、異酞酸、鄰酞酸等芳香族二元酸或其酐;1,2,5-己烷三羧酸、1,2,4-環己烷三羧酸等脂肪族三元酸;偏苯三甲酸、偏苯三甲酸酐、1,2,5-苯三羧酸、2,5,7-萘三羧酸等芳香族三元酸或其酐等。該等可分別單獨使用,亦可併用兩種以上。
又,為了進行獲得之醇酸樹脂(A)之分子量的調整等,亦可與上述多元酸(a1)一併使用甲酸、乙酸、丙酸、丁酸、戊酸、己酸、庚酸、辛酸、壬酸、癸酸、十二烷酸、十四烷酸、十六烷酸、十七烷酸、十八烷酸、苯甲酸、對第三丁基苯甲酸、松香等一元酸。該等可分別單獨使用,亦可併用兩種以上。其中,就獲得之活性能量線硬化型樹脂組成物之硬化塗膜之耐熱性或強韌性變得優異之方面而言,較佳利用具有苯甲酸或松香等環狀結構之一元酸。
上述多元醇(a2)例如可列舉:乙二醇、二乙二醇、丙二醇、二丙二醇、1,3-丙二醇、1,2,2-三甲基-1,3-丙二醇、2,2-二甲基-3-異丙基-1,3-丙二醇、1,4-丁二醇、1,3-丁二醇、3-甲基-1,3-丁二醇、1,5-戊二醇、3-甲基-1,5-戊二醇、新戊二醇、1,6-己二醇、1,4-雙(羥甲基)環己烷、2,2,4-三甲基-1,3-戊二醇等二醇;三羥甲基乙烷、三羥甲基丙烷、甘油、己三醇、新戊四醇等多元醇;藉由上述二醇或多元醇與環氧乙烷、環氧丙烷、四氫呋喃、乙基環氧丙基醚、丙基環氧丙基醚、丁基環氧丙基醚、苯基環氧丙基醚、烯丙基環氧丙基醚等各種含環狀醚鍵之化合物之開環聚合獲得之改質聚醚多元醇;藉由上述二醇或多元醇與ε-己內酯等各種內酯類之縮聚反應獲得之內酯系聚酯多元醇等。該等可分別單獨使用,亦可併用兩種以上。其中,就獲得之活性能量線硬化型樹脂組成物之硬化塗膜之耐熱性或強韌性優異之方面而言,較佳使用三羥甲基乙烷、三羥甲基丙烷、甘油、己三醇、新戊四醇等多元醇或者該等之改質多元醇。
上述油脂或脂肪酸(a3)例如可列舉:亞麻仁油、桐油、米糠油、紅花子油、大豆油、妥爾油、菜籽油、棕櫚油、蓖麻油、脫水蓖麻 油、椰子油脂等油脂;來自該等油脂之脂肪酸;該等之再生油脂;油酸、亞麻油酸、次亞麻油酸、花生油酸、二十二碳六烯酸等碳原子數12~30之高級脂肪酸等。該等可分別單獨使用,亦可併用2種以上。其中,就成為對各種塑膠基材之密接性優異之活性能量線硬化型樹脂組成物之方面而言,較佳利用碘值為100以上之油脂,具體而言為桐油、亞麻仁油、脫水蓖麻油、大豆油、紅花子油、妥爾油之任一者,更佳併用2種以上該等碘值為100以上之油脂。
上述醇酸樹脂(A)亦可為除上述(a1)~(a3)成分之外,進而與聚異氰酸酯化合物(a4)反應而得之胺酯改質醇酸樹脂。此處使用之聚異氰酸酯化合物例如可列舉:丁烷-1,4-二異氰酸酯、六亞甲基二異氰酸酯、2,2,4-三甲基六亞甲基二異氰酸酯、2,4,4-三甲基六亞甲基二異氰酸酯、苯二甲基二異氰酸酯、間四甲基苯二甲基二異氰酸酯等脂肪族二異氰酸酯;環己烷-1,4-二異氰酸酯、異佛酮二異氰酸酯、離胺酸二異氰酸酯、二環己基甲烷-4,4'-二異氰酸酯、1,3-雙(異氰酸基甲基)環己烷、甲基環己烷二異氰酸酯等脂環式二異氰酸酯;1,5-萘二異氰酸酯、4,4'-二苯基甲烷二異氰酸酯、4,4'-二苯基二甲基甲烷二異氰酸酯、4,4'-二苄基二異氰酸酯、二烷基二苯基甲烷二異氰酸酯、四烷基二苯基甲烷二異氰酸酯、1,3-伸苯基二異氰酸酯、1,4-伸苯基二異氰酸酯、甲苯二異氰酸酯等芳香族二異氰酸酯;上述各種二異氰酸酯之尿酸酯(nurate)改質聚異氰酸酯、使上述各種二異氰酸酯與多元醇反應而獲得之加成物改質聚異氰酸酯、上 述各種二異氰酸酯之縮二脲改質聚異氰酸酯等。該等可分別單獨使用,亦可併用兩種以上。
上述醇酸樹脂(A)亦可為除上述(a1)~(a3)成分之外,進而與酚樹脂(a5)反應所得之酚改質醇酸樹脂。此處使用之酚樹脂可列舉:可溶酚醛型酚樹脂或酚醛清漆型酚樹脂。
上述醇酸樹脂(A)亦可為除上述(a1)~(a3)成分之外,進而與含不飽和鍵之聚合性單體(a6)反應所得之丙烯酸改質醇酸樹脂。上述含不飽和鍵之聚合性單體(a6)例如可列舉:(甲基)丙烯酸甲酯、(甲基)丙烯酸乙酯、(甲基)丙烯酸丙酯、(甲基)丙烯酸丁酯、(甲基)丙烯酸戊酯、(甲基)丙烯酸己酯、(甲基)丙烯酸庚酯、(甲基)丙烯酸辛酯、(甲基)丙烯酸2-乙基己酯、(甲基)丙烯酸壬酯等脂肪族(甲基)丙烯酸酯單體;(甲基)丙烯酸環己酯、(甲基)丙烯酸異莰酯、(甲基)丙烯酸雙環戊酯、單(甲基)丙烯酸金剛烷酯等脂環型(甲基)丙烯酸酯單體;(甲基)丙烯酸環氧丙酯、丙烯酸四氫糠酯等雜環型(甲基)丙烯酸酯單體;(甲基)丙烯酸苯酯、(甲基)丙烯酸苄酯、苯氧基(甲基)丙烯酸酯、丙烯酸苯氧基乙酯等芳香族(甲基)丙烯酸酯單體;(甲基)丙烯酸羥基乙酯、(甲基)丙烯酸羥基丙酯、丙烯酸羥基丁酯等含羥基之(甲基)丙烯酸酯單體;(甲基)丙烯酸、(丙烯醯氧基)乙酸、丙烯酸2-羧基乙酯、丙烯酸3-羧基丙酯等含羧基之(甲基)丙烯酸酯單體;3-甲基丙烯醯氧基丙基三甲氧基矽烷等含矽基之(甲基)丙烯 酸酯單體;(甲基)丙烯酸N,N-二甲胺基乙酯、(甲基)丙烯酸N,N-二乙胺基乙酯、(甲基)丙烯酸N,N-二乙胺丙酯等(甲基)丙烯酸胺基烷基酯單體;(甲基)丙烯酸2,2,2-三氟乙酯、(甲基)丙烯酸2,2,3,3-四氟丙酯、(甲基)丙烯酸1H,1H,5H-八氟戊酯、(甲基)丙烯酸1H,1H,2H,2H-十七氟癸酯、(甲基)丙烯酸全氟乙氧基乙酯等(甲基)丙烯酸(全)氟烷基酯單體;三氟甲基三氟乙烯基醚、五氟乙基三氟乙烯基醚、七氟丙基三氟乙烯基醚等(全)氟烷基之碳數為1~18之範圍之(全)氟烷基-全氟乙烯基醚;反丁烯二酸二甲酯、反丁烯二酸二乙酯、反丁烯二酸二丁酯、伊康酸二甲酯、伊康酸二丁酯、反丁烯二酸甲酯乙酯、反丁烯二酸甲酯丁酯、伊康酸甲酯乙酯等不飽和羧酸酯;苯乙烯、α-甲基苯乙烯、氯苯乙烯等芳香族乙烯單體;丁二烯、異戊二烯、戊二烯、二甲基丁二烯等二烯系化合物;氯乙烯、溴乙烯等鹵化乙烯或偏二鹵乙烯;甲基乙烯基酮、丁基乙烯基酮等不飽和酮;乙酸乙烯酯、丁酸乙烯酯等乙烯酯;甲基乙烯基醚、丁基乙烯基醚等乙烯基醚;丙烯腈、甲基丙烯腈、氰化亞乙烯等氰化乙烯;丙烯醯胺或其醇酸取代醯胺;N-苯基順丁烯二醯亞胺、N-環己基順丁烯二醯亞胺等N-取代順丁烯二醯亞胺; 氟乙烯、二氟亞乙烯、三氟乙烯、三氟氯乙烯、三氟溴乙烯、五氟丙烯、六氟丙烯等含氟之α-烯烴等。該等可分別單獨使用,亦可併用兩種以上。
該等中,就成為對各種基材之附著性良好之醇酸樹脂(A)之方面而言,較佳使用上述含羥基之(甲基)丙烯酸酯單體作為必需成分。此時,含不飽和鍵之聚合性單體(a6)中之上述含羥基之(甲基)丙烯酸酯單體之比率較佳為5~50質量%之範圍,更佳為5~30質量%之範圍。
又,就成為耐熱性優異之醇酸樹脂(A)之方面而言,較佳使用上述芳香族乙烯單體作為必需成分。此時,含不飽和鍵之聚合性單體(a6)中之上述芳香族乙烯單體之比率較佳為5~50質量%之範圍,更佳為10~40質量%之範圍。
上述醇酸樹脂(A)之製造方法並無特別限定,上述醇酸樹脂(A)可為藉由任意方法而製造者。例如,於醇酸樹脂以多元酸(a1)、多元醇(a2)、油脂或脂肪酸(a3)及視需要之一元酸為原料之情形時,較佳為使該等全部一次以120~300℃左右之溫度反應之方法。於製造胺酯改質醇酸樹脂之情形時,較佳使多元酸(a1)、多元醇(a2)、油脂或脂肪酸(a3)及視需要之一元酸以120~300℃左右之溫度反應後,添加聚異氰酸酯化合物(a4)以50~100℃左右之溫度反應。於製造酚改質醇酸樹脂之情形時,較佳為使多元酸(a1)、多元醇(a2)、油脂或脂肪酸(a3)、酚樹脂(a5)及視需要之一元酸全部一次以120~300℃左右之溫度反應之方法。反應之進行程度可藉由測量由脫水反應蒸餾出之水量或酸值或者羥值、異氰酸基殘量而監視。又,亦可視需要適當使用酯化觸媒或胺酯化觸媒等。於製造 丙烯酸改質醇酸樹脂之情形時,較佳為使多元酸(a1)、多元醇(a2)、油脂或脂肪酸(a3)及視需要之一元酸以120~300℃左右之溫度反應後,於氮氣氣流環境下加熱至70~150℃左右,連續或斷續地添加上述含不飽和鍵之聚合性單體(a6)與丙烯酸聚合觸媒之混合物進行聚合反應之方法。
上述醇酸樹脂(A)可視需要於有機溶劑中反應。又,亦可於反應結束後添加有機溶劑,調整黏度或不揮發成分量等。該有機溶劑例如可列舉:丙酮、甲基乙基酮(MEK)、甲基異丁基酮等酮溶劑,四氫呋喃(THF)、二氧雜環戊烷等環狀醚溶劑,乙酸甲酯、乙酸乙酯、乙酸丁酯等酯溶劑,甲苯、二甲苯、Solvesso等芳香族系烴溶劑,卡必醇、賽珞蘇(cellosolve)、甲醇、異丙醇、丁醇、丙二醇單甲醚等醇溶劑。該等可單獨使用,亦可併用兩種以上。
上述醇酸樹脂(A)就成為除對各種塑膠基材之密接性之外,耐熱性或強韌性等亦優異之活性能量線硬化型樹脂組成物之方面而言,其油長較佳為30~70之範圍。又,重量平均分子量(Mw)較佳為50,000~700,000之範圍,分子量分佈(Mw/Mn)較佳為2~200之範圍。又,其羥值較佳為25~200mgKOH/g之範圍,酸值較佳為40mgKOH/g以下。
再者,所謂醇酸樹脂(A)之油長,係以百分率表示油脂或脂肪酸(a3)相對於醇酸樹脂(A)之樹脂原料之總質量的質量比。又,於本發明中重量平均分子量(Mw)及分子量分佈(Mw/Mn)係藉由下述條件之凝膠滲透層析法(GPC)而測量之值。

上述(甲基)丙烯酸胺酯化合物(B2)例如可列舉:使各種聚異氰酸酯化合物、含羥基之(甲基)丙烯酸酯化合物及視需要之各種多元醇化合物反應而得者。上述聚異氰酸酯化合物例如可列舉:六亞甲基二異氰酸酯、異佛酮二異氰酸酯、甲苯二異氰酸酯、苯二甲基二異氰酸酯、4,4'-二苯基甲烷二異氰酸酯等二異氰酸酯化合物或者其尿酸酯改質體、加成物改質體、縮二脲改質體。上述含羥基之(甲基)丙烯酸酯化合物例如可列舉:(甲基)丙烯酸羥基乙酯、(甲基)丙烯酸羥基丙酯、三羥甲基丙烷二丙烯酸酯、新戊四醇三(甲基)丙烯酸酯、二新戊四醇五(甲基)丙烯酸酯、及該等之聚氧伸烷基改質體、聚內酯改質體等。上述多元醇化合物例如可列舉:乙二醇、丙二醇、丁二醇、己二醇、聚氧乙二醇、聚氧丙二醇、甘油、三羥甲基丙烷、新戊四醇等。
上述環氧(甲基)丙烯酸酯化合物(B3)可列舉:雙酚型環氧樹脂或三羥甲基丙烷三環氧丙基醚等含環氧基之化合物之(甲基)丙烯酸酯。
上述具有除(甲基)丙烯醯基以外之不飽和鍵之化合物(B4)例如可列舉:反丁烯二酸二烯丙酯、異氰尿酸三烯丙酯等。
該等含不飽和鍵之聚合性化合物(B)可分別單獨使用,亦可併用2種以上。其中,就硬化性高,製成金屬薄膜用底塗劑時之耐熱性或表面平滑性優異之方面而言,較佳為上述(甲基)丙烯酸酯單體(B1),更 佳為3官能以上之(甲基)丙烯酸酯化合物。又,就對各種基材之附著性高,製成金屬薄膜用底塗劑時之耐熱性或表面平滑性優異之方面而言,較佳為上述(甲基)丙烯酸胺酯化合物(B2)。
於本發明之活性能量線硬化型樹脂組成物中,上述醇酸樹脂(A)與上述含不飽和鍵之聚合性化合物(B)之摻合比率可按所需各性能而任意調整,但就成為除對各種塑膠基材之密接性外,耐熱性或強韌性等亦優異之活性能量線硬化型樹脂組成物之方面而言,較佳為兩者之質量比[(A)/(B)]為20/80~80/20之範圍。
又,活性能量線硬化型樹脂組成物之樹脂固形物成分之合計100質量份中,較佳為合計含有醇酸樹脂(A)與含不飽和鍵之聚合性化合物(B)65質量份以上,更佳為含有70質量份以上,尤佳為含有80質量份以上。
(式中,R1為氫原子或烴基;R2分別獨立地表示烴基、烷氧基、鹵素原子,m為0或1~4之整數)
表示之分子結構。
上述結構式(1)中之R1為氫原子或烴基。作為上述烴基, 例如可列舉:甲基、乙基、乙烯基、丙基、丁基、戊基、己基、環己基、庚基、辛基、壬基等脂肪族烴基;苯基、萘基、蒽基等芳基;苯基甲基、苯基乙基、萘基甲基、萘基乙基等芳烷基等。其中,就基材密接性優異之效果尤其高之方面而言,R1較佳為氫原子或脂肪族烴基。上述脂肪族烴基更佳為碳原子數為1~6之範圍。
上述結構式(1)中之R2分別獨立為烴基、烷氧基、鹵素原子。上述烴基例如可列舉:甲基、乙基、乙烯基、丙基、丁基、戊基、己基、環己基、庚基、辛基、壬基等脂肪族烴基;苯基、萘基、蒽基等芳基;苯基甲基、苯基乙基、萘基甲基、萘基乙基等芳烷基等。上述烷氧基例如可列舉:甲氧基、乙氧基、丙氧基、丁氧基等。上述鹵素原子可列舉:氟原子、氯原子、溴原子。其中,就基材密接性優異之效果尤其高之方面而言,較佳為m為0,或者m為1且R2為脂肪族烴基。上述脂肪族烴基更佳為碳原子數為1~6之範圍。
於上述結構式(1)表示之化合物中,就基材密接性優異之效果尤其高之方面而言,尤佳為m為0且R1為氫原子之對苯二酚,m為0且R1為甲基之對甲氧基苯酚,R1為氫原子、R2為甲基、m為1之甲基對苯二酚,或R1為氫原子、R2為第三丁基、m為1之第三丁基對苯二酚之任一者。
活性能量線硬化型樹脂組成物中之上述酚化合物(C)之添加量就充分發揮基材密接性優異之效果之方面而言,較佳為相對於活性能量線硬化型樹脂組成物之樹脂固形物成分100質量份為0.001~5質量份之範圍。

上述結構式(2)中之R3為脂肪族烴基、芳基、芳烷基、烷氧基、羥基、胺基之任一者,亦可由數個R3形成環結構。上述脂肪族烴基例如可列舉:甲基、乙基、乙烯基、丙基、丁基、戊基、己基、環己基、庚基、辛基、壬基等。上述芳基例如可列舉:苯基、萘基、蒽基及該等之芳香核上經上述脂肪族烴基或烷氧基、鹵素原子等取代之結構部位等。上述芳烷基例如可列舉:苯基甲基、苯基乙基、萘基甲基、萘基乙基及該等芳香核上經上述脂肪族烴基或烷氧基、鹵素原子等取代之結構部位等。上述烷氧基例如可列舉:甲氧基、乙氧基、丙氧基、丁氧基等。上述胺基例如可列舉:胺基、或二甲胺基等二烷基胺基、哌啶基、啉基等環狀胺基等。作為由數個R3形成環結構之情形時之環結構之例,可列舉環戊烷環、環己烷環等。
上述結構式(2)中之R4分別獨立為烴基、烷氧基、鹵素原 子,分別可列舉作為上述結構式(1)中之R2而例示者。
於上述光聚合起始劑(D)中,就基材密接性優異之效果尤其高之方面而言,較佳為下述結構式(2-1)~(2-8)之任一者表示之化合物。
本發明之活性能量線硬化型樹脂組成物亦可按所需含有除上述光聚合起始劑(D)以外之其他光聚合起始劑(D')。其他光聚合起始劑(D')例如可列舉:苯乙酮化合物、二苯甲酮化合物、二苯甲醯化合物、 苯甲酸酯化合物等。於使用該等其他光聚合起始劑(D')之情形時,就充分發揮基材密接性優異之本發明之效果之方面而言,較佳為相對於上述光聚合起始劑(D)與其他光聚合起始劑(D')之合計,使用上述光聚合起始劑(D)80質量%以上。
活性能量線硬化型樹脂組成物中之上述光聚合起始劑(D)之添加量就充分發揮基材密接性優異之效果之方面而言,較佳為相對於活性能量線硬化型樹脂組成物之樹脂固形物成分100質量份為0.05~10質量份之範圍。
本發明之活性能量線硬化型樹脂組成物除上述各成分外,亦可視需要含有胺基樹脂。藉由摻合胺基樹脂,可進一步提高硬化物中之耐熱性。
作為上述胺基樹脂,例如可列舉:由三聚氰胺、脲及苯胍(benzoguanamine)中之至少1種與甲醛類合成之羥甲基化胺基樹脂;將此種羥甲基化胺基樹脂之羥甲基之一部分或全部藉由甲醇、乙醇、丙醇、異丙醇、丁醇、異丁醇等低級一元醇進行烷基醚化所得者等。
作為此種胺基樹脂之具體例,例如可列舉:Cymel 303(Cytec Industries Japan股份有限公司製造,甲基化三聚氰胺樹指)、Cymel 350(Cytec Industries Japan股份有限公司製造,甲基化三聚氰胺樹脂)、U-VAN 520(三井化學股份有限公司製造,正丁基化改質三聚氰胺樹脂)、U-VAN 20-SE-60(三井化學股份有限公司製造,正丁基化改質三聚氰胺樹脂)、U-VAN 2021(三井化學股份有限公司製造,正丁基化改質三聚氰胺樹脂)、U-VAN 220(三井化學股份有限公司製造,正丁基化改質三聚氰胺樹脂)、U-VAN 22R (三井化學股份有限公司製造,正丁基化改質三聚氰胺樹脂)、U-VAN 2028(三井化學股份有限公司製造,正丁基化改質三聚氰胺樹脂)、U-VAN 165(三井化學股份有限公司製造,異丁基化改質三聚氰胺樹脂)、U-VAN 114(三井化學股份有限公司製造,異丁基化改質三聚氰胺樹脂)、U-VAN 62(三井化學股份有限公司製造,異丁基化改質三聚氰胺樹脂)、U-VAN 60R(三井化學股份有限公司製造,異丁基化改質三聚氰胺樹脂)等。於使用該等胺基樹脂之情形時,較佳為相對於組成物中之醇酸樹脂(A)及含不飽和鍵之聚合性化合物(B)之合計100質量份,含有5~20質量份。
又,於使用上述胺基樹脂之情形時,亦可添加磷酸酯等酸化合物作為硬化促進劑。硬化促進劑之添加量較佳為相對於胺基樹脂100質量份為0.1~10質量份之範圍。
本發明之活性能量線硬化型樹脂組成物為了容易稀釋而塗裝,亦可含有溶劑。作為上述溶劑並無特別限定,為了提高潤濕性,較佳為低表面張力溶劑,作為此種溶劑,例如可列舉:醇系溶劑、酮系溶劑等,進而,除該等之外,鑒於蒸發速度或成本等,亦可併用乙酸乙酯、乙酸丁酯、甲苯、二甲苯等。
本發明之活性能量線硬化型樹脂組成物亦可含有表面調整劑。作為上述表面調整劑並無特別限定,例如可列舉:氟系添加劑、纖維素系添加劑等。上述氟系添加劑具有藉由降低表面張力而提高潤濕性,從而防止塗佈於各種基材上時之收縮之作用。作為上述氟系添加劑之具體例,例如可列舉:「MEGAFACE F-177」(迪愛生股份有限公司製造)等。
上述纖維素系添加劑具有賦予塗佈時之造膜性之作用。作為 上述纖維素系添加劑,為了降低流動性,較佳為數平均分子量15000以上之高分子量品,作為此種高分子量品,例如可列舉:乙酸丁酸纖維素樹脂等。
於本發明中,若氟系添加劑之量變多,則會造成蒸鍍鋁或面塗層之密接性之降低等,若上述纖維素系添加劑之量變多,則本發明之組成物之固形物成分含量降低,塗膜不易附著,故而較佳併用氟系添加劑及纖維素系添加劑。
上述表面調整劑之添加量較佳為相對於組成物中之不揮發成分之合計100質量份,氟系添加劑及纖維素系添加劑之合計量為0.01~3.0質量份之範圍。於單獨使用氟系添加劑之情形時,較佳為0.01~1.0質量份之範圍,於單獨使用纖維素系添加劑之情形時,較佳為0.5~5.0質量份之範圍。
本發明之活性能量線硬化型樹脂組成物可進而含有光敏劑、紫外線吸收劑、抗氧化劑、矽系添加劑、流變控制劑、消泡劑、抗靜電劑、防霧劑等各種添加劑。該等之添加量可於充分發揮添加劑之效果且不妨礙硬化之範圍內使用。
本發明之活性能量線硬化型樹脂組成物可較佳地用作金屬薄膜用底塗劑。以下詳細敍述將本發明之活性能量硬化型樹脂組成物用作於基材上形成金屬薄膜層時之底塗層時之各種條件等。
本發明之活性能量線硬化型樹脂組成物由於對各種素材具有高密接性,故而上述基材並無特別限定,可使用各種材料。具體而言,可列舉:聚對酞酸乙二酯(PET)樹脂、聚對酞酸丁二酯(PBT)樹脂、PET/PBT 合金樹脂、不飽和聚酯樹脂、聚乙烯樹脂、聚丙烯樹脂、聚苯硫醚(PPS)樹脂、聚碳酸酯樹脂、丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚樹脂(ABS)等各種樹脂材料、塊狀模料(BMC)等藉由玻璃纖維或填充劑等而強化之樹脂材料、鋁壓鑄件(ALD)等。
形成上述底塗層時,本發明之活性能量線硬化型樹脂組成物係藉由噴塗、浸漬塗佈、旋轉塗佈、流塗、滾筒塗佈法等方法塗佈於基材上。此時之塗佈量較佳為硬化後之膜厚變為5~60μm之範圍,更佳為變為10~40μm之範圍。藉由將硬化塗膜之膜厚設為上述範圍內,就接著效果之表現與塗膜之硬化性表現之方面而言較佳。
藉由上述方法於基材上塗佈活性能量線硬化型樹脂組成物後,為了使樹脂組成物中之有機溶劑揮發,於50~150℃之範圍之溫度條件下預熱5~25分鐘。
上述預熱步驟結束後,照射活性能量線使樹脂組成物硬化,形成上述底塗層。本發明中使用之活性能量線例如可列舉紫外線或電子束。利用紫外線進行硬化之情形時,可使用具有氙氣燈、高壓水銀燈、金屬鹵化物燈之紫外線照射裝置作為光源,視需要調整光量、光源之配置等。於本發明中,較佳以累計光量成為50~5000mJ/cm2之方式照射紫外線,更佳為以累計光量成為500~2000mJ/cm2之方式照射。
按以上之方式設置有本發明之底塗層之基材於其上設置金屬薄膜層,於其上進而設置面塗層等。金屬薄膜之金屬種類例如可列舉:鋁、鐵、鎳、鉻、銅、銀、鋅、錫、銦、鎂、該等之氧化物及該等之合金等。金屬薄膜層之膜厚較佳為30nm~3μm之範圍。面塗層一般使用丙烯 酸系漆塗料、丙烯酸三聚氰胺硬化系塗料、鋁螯合型丙烯酸系塗料等透明塗料,面塗層之硬化後之膜厚較佳為3~40μm之範圍。作為以此種方式獲得之成形體,可列舉汽車反射鏡等。藉由將本發明之活性能量線硬化型樹脂組成物用作金屬薄膜層之底塗層,可獲得該金屬層之金屬光澤、對基材之密接性及耐熱性優異之成形體。又,本發明之活性能量線硬化型樹脂組成物具有儲藏穩定性亦優異之特徵。
以下列舉具體之合成例、實施例對本發明進一步詳細地進行說明。以下「份」「%」只要無特別記載,則為質量基準。
於本案實施例中,數平均分子量(Mn)、重量平均分子量(Mw)、分子量分佈(Mw/Mn)係藉由下述條件之凝膠滲透層析法(GPC)而測量。
測量裝置:東曹股份有限公司製造HLC-8320GPC
管柱:東曹股份有限公司製造TSKgel 4000HXL、TSKgel 3000HXL、TSKgel 2000HXL、TSKgel 1000HXL
檢測器:RI(示差折射計)
資料處理:東曹股份有限公司製造Multistation GPC-8020modelII
測量條件:管柱溫度40℃
溶劑 四氫呋喃
流速 0.35ml/min
標準:單分散聚苯乙烯
試樣:將以樹脂固形物成分換算計為0.2%之四氫呋喃溶液藉由微濾器 過濾所得者(100μl)
製造例1 丙烯酸改質醇酸樹脂(A-1)之製造
向具有攪拌棒、溫度感測器、精餾管之燒瓶添加脫水蓖麻油760重量份、新戊四醇150重量份、三羥甲基丙烷140重量份、酞酸酐345重量份、順丁烯二酸酐10重量份,使乾燥氮氣通入至燒瓶內並一面攪拌一面加熱至210~230℃,進行脫水縮合反應。酸值變為10.0mgKOH/g時停止反應,冷卻至150℃後,滴加乙酸丁酯稀釋至固形物成分70%,獲得醇酸樹脂中間體(a-1)。
向具有攪拌棒、溫度感測器、冷凝器、滴液漏斗之燒瓶添加乙酸丁酯326重量份、上述醇酸樹脂中間體(a-1)714重量份(固形物成分),使乾燥氮氣通入至燒瓶內並一面攪拌一面加熱至80~90℃。向滴液漏斗添加甲基丙烯酸甲酯180重量份、甲基丙烯酸2-羥基乙酯50重量份、苯乙烯70重量份、過氧化-2-乙基己酸第三丁酯10重量份,花費4小時滴加該等。進而以80~90℃繼續4小時丙烯酸聚合反應,滴加乙酸丁酯稀釋至固形物成分60質量%,獲得醇酸樹脂(A-1)溶液。醇酸樹脂(A-1)之數平均分子量(Mn)為4,000,重量平均分子量(Mw)為28,200,分子量分佈(Mw/Mn)為7.1,羥值為115mgKOH/g,酸值為6.7mgKOH/g,油長為42。
製造例2 醇酸樹脂(A-2)之製造
向具有攪拌棒、溫度感測器、精餾管、傾析器之燒瓶添加大豆油380重量份、紅花子油890重量份、對第三丁基苯甲酸154重量份、新戊四醇472重量份、酞酸酐754重量份、二甲苯56重量份,使乾燥氮氣通入至燒 瓶內並一面攪拌一面加熱至220~240℃,進行脫水縮合反應。酸值變為12mgKOH/g以下時停止反應,冷卻至150℃後,滴加甲苯與乙酸乙酯稀釋至固形物成分50質量%,獲得醇酸樹脂(A-2)溶液。醇酸樹脂(A-2)之數平均分子量(Mn)為3,800,重量平均分子量(Mw)為336,200,分子量分佈(Mw/Mn)為88.5,羥值為55mgKOH/g,酸值為9.2mgKOH/g,油長為50。
製造例3 醇酸樹脂(A-3)之製造
向具有攪拌棒、溫度感測器、精餾管、傾析器之燒瓶添加亞麻仁油600重量份、大豆油脂肪酸300重量份、對第三丁基苯甲酸53重量份、新戊四醇200重量份、二丙二醇38重量份、甘油150重量份、酞酸酐570重量份、二甲苯71重量份,使乾燥氮氣通入至燒瓶內並一面攪拌一面加熱至230~250℃,進行脫水縮合反應。酸值變為8.3mgKOH/g時停止反應,冷卻至150℃後,滴加甲苯與乙酸乙酯稀釋至固形物成分70質量%,獲得醇酸樹脂(A-3)溶液。醇酸樹脂(A-3)之數平均分子量(Mn)為3,400,重量平均分子量(Mw)為90,000,分子量分佈(Mw/Mn)為26.5,羥值為85mgKOH/g,酸值為9.3mgKOH/g,油長為50。
製造例4 醇酸樹脂(A-4)之製造
向具有攪拌棒、溫度感測器、精餾管、傾析器之燒瓶添加亞麻仁油1750重量份、大豆油100重量份、苯甲酸430重量份、新戊四醇820重量份、酞酸酐1240重量份、二甲苯130重量份,使乾燥氮氣通入至燒瓶內並一面攪拌一面加熱至230~250℃,進行脫水縮合反應。酸值變為10.0mgKOH/g時停止反應,冷卻至150℃後,滴加甲苯與乙酸乙酯稀釋至固形物成分50 質量%,獲得醇酸樹脂(A-4)溶液。醇酸樹脂(A-4)之數平均分子量(Mn)為3,300,重量平均分子量(Mw)為433,200,分子量分佈(Mw/Mn)為131.3,羥值為59mgKOH/g,酸值為10.1mgKOH/g,油長為45。
製造例5 醇酸樹脂(A-5)之製造
向具有攪拌棒、溫度感測器、精餾管、傾析器之燒瓶添加亞麻仁油1269重量份、新戊四醇593重量份、酞酸酐880重量份,使乾燥氮氣通入至燒瓶內並一面攪拌一面加熱至230~250℃,進行脫水縮合反應。酸值變為8.0mgKOH/g時停止反應,冷卻至150℃後,滴加甲苯稀釋至固形物成分55質量%,獲得醇酸樹脂(A-5)溶液。醇酸樹脂(A-5)之數平均分子量(Mn)為3,200,重量平均分子量(Mw)為300,000,分子量分佈(Mw/Mn)為93.8,羥值為80mgKOH/g,酸值為4.4mgKOH/g,油長為45。
製造例6 醇酸樹脂(A-6)之製造
向具有攪拌棒、溫度感測器、精餾管、傾析器之燒瓶添加大豆油564重量份、甘油110重量份、新戊四醇22重量份、甲酸鈉0.008%、三苯基膦0.02%並以250℃反應2小時。冷卻至100℃,添加酞酸酐262重量份、妥爾松香43重量份、二甲苯40重量份,使乾燥氮氣通入至燒瓶內並一面攪拌一面以200~220℃進行4小時脫水縮合反應。冷卻至150℃,於減壓條件下蒸餾去除二甲苯而獲得醇酸樹脂中間體(a-6)。
向具有攪拌棒、溫度感測器、冷凝器、滴液漏斗之燒瓶添加二甲苯200重量份、上述醇酸樹脂中間體(a-6)300重量份、異佛酮二異氰酸酯0.21重量份,使乾燥氮氣通入至燒瓶內並一面攪拌一面以80~90℃反應2小時,獲得固形物成分60質量%之醇酸樹脂(A-6)溶液。醇酸樹脂 (A-6)之數平均分子量(Mn)為2,700,重量平均分子量(Mw)為76,400,分子量分佈(Mw/Mn)為28.3,羥值為38mgKOH/g,酸值為5.1mgKOH/g,醇酸樹脂部之油長為60。
除由上述製造例獲得之各種化合物外,本案實施例中使用之化合物之詳細內容如下。
◆含不飽和鍵之聚合性化合物(B-1):新戊四醇三丙烯酸酯與四丙烯酸酯之混合物(東亞合成股份有限公司製造,「Aronix M-305」)
◆含不飽和鍵之聚合性化合物(B-2):二新戊四醇六丙烯酸酯(DPHA)(東亞合成股份有限公司製造,「Aronix M-402」)
◆含不飽和鍵之聚合性化合物(B-3):三羥甲基丙烷三丙烯酸酯(TMPTA)(東亞合成股份有限公司製造,「Aronix M-309」)
◆含不飽和鍵之聚合性化合物(B-4):三丙二醇二丙烯酸酯(TPGDA)(日本化藥股份有限公司製造,「Kayarad TPGDA」)
◆含不飽和鍵之聚合性化合物(B-5):1,6-己二醇二丙烯酸酯(HDDA)(大阪有機化學工業股份有限公司製造,「Viscoat # 230」)
◆酚化合物(C-1):對甲氧基苯酚(精工化學股份有限公司製造,「Metokinon」)
◆酚化合物(C-2):第三丁基對苯二酚(精工化學股份有限公司製造,「TBT」)
◆酚化合物(C-3):甲基對苯二酚(精工化學股份有限公司製造,「MH」)
◆酚化合物(C'-1):2,6-二第三丁基-4-甲基苯酚(精工化學股份有限公司製造,「BHT SWANOX」)
◆光聚合起始劑(D-1):上述結構式(2-2)表示之化合物。巴斯夫日本股份有限公司製造,「IRGACURE 184」
◆光聚合起始劑(D-2):上述結構式(2-1)表示之化合物。巴斯夫日本股份有限公司製造,「IRGACURE 651」
◆光聚合起始劑(D-3):上述結構式(2-6)表示之化合物。巴斯夫日本股份有限公司製造,「IRGACURE 907」
◆光聚合起始劑(D'-1):二苯甲酮
◆光聚合起始劑(D'-2):二甲胺基苯甲酸異戊酯
◆表面改質劑:迪愛生股份有限公司製造,「MEGAFACE F-477」
實施例1~12及比較例1~6
以表1所示之比率摻合各成分而製造活性能量線硬化型樹脂組成物,並對此以下述要領進行各種評價。將結果示於表1~3。
◆反射材之製造
將之前獲得之活性能量線硬化型樹脂組成物空氣噴塗於塑膠基材上。以80℃乾燥10分鐘而去除溶劑後,以80W/cm之高壓水銀燈照射紫外線,形成底塗層。繼而,於底塗層之表面利用真空蒸鍍裝置形成鋁蒸鍍層,製成反射板。紫外線照射量及底塗層之膜厚按表1~3所示變更。又,基材係利用以下三種,分別設為反射板1~3。
反射板1:將BMC(塊狀模料)用作基材
反射板2:將PPS(聚苯硫醚)用作基材
反射板3:將PC(聚碳酸酯)用作基材
◆基材密接性之評價
於反射板1~3之蒸鍍層側以1mm間隔利用截切刀以10×10之柵格狀劃出切口,製成100個1mm2之柵格。進行於柵格上黏貼透明膠帶並迅速剝離之操作,數出未剝離而殘存之柵格之數量。評價按以下基準進行。
「◎」:柵格之殘存數為100個。
「○」:柵格之殘存數為50~99個。
「×」:柵格之殘存數為49個以下。
◆耐熱性之評價(外觀)
對在220℃之熱風乾燥機內放置100小時後之反射板1目視評價其外觀。評價按以下基準進行。
「◎」:無變化。
「○」:反射板之一部分觀察到「白化」、「虹」、「裂痕」、「鼓出」等外觀異常。
「×」:反射板之全部觀察到「白化」、「虹」、「裂痕」、「鼓出」等外觀異常。
◆耐熱性之評價(密接性)
利用在220℃之熱風乾燥機內放置100小時後之反射板1,藉由與上述基材密接性之評價相同之方法進行試驗及評價。
Claims (4)
- 一種活性能量線硬化型樹脂組成物,其含有重量平均分子量為50,000~700,000之範圍的醇酸樹脂(A)、(甲基)丙烯酸酯單體(B)、下述結構式(1)
- 一種金屬薄膜用底塗劑,其含有申請專利範圍第1項之活性能量線硬化型樹脂組成物。
- 一種塗膜,其係由申請專利範圍第2項之金屬薄膜用底塗劑構成。
- 一種成形體,其具有由申請專利範圍第2項之金屬薄膜用底塗劑構成之底塗層。
