Abstract

Disclosed is an oil-in-water type makeup cosmetic composition containing an aqueous phase and an oil phase.  The composition comprises inorganic powder surface-treated with a hydrophilic coating agent and dispersed in the aqueous phase, and has a ceramide-containing multilayer lamellar structure.  The makeup cosmetic composition shows excellent formulation stability, and has an excellent skin moisturizing effect when applied to the skin.
