Abstract

一種雙面顯示器,包含:間隔的一第一面板模組與一第二面板模組、一位於該第一面板模組與該第二面板模組之間的導光板、一第一光源,以及一增亮膜。該導光板包括一朝向該第一面板模組的第一出光面、一朝向該第二面板模組的第二出光面、一第一入光面,以及數個位於該第二出光面的反射結構。該增亮膜位於該導光板的第二出光面與該第二面板模組間,並包括數個突出的聚光結構,該等聚光結構的間距大於反射結構的尺寸。本發明能提高該第二出光面的發光率,使第二面板模組有足夠亮度,呈現較佳的顯示畫面。本發明顯示器的雙面皆具有高亮度。

Description

雙面顯示器
本發明是有關於一種顯示器,特別是指一種正面與背面皆可顯示畫面的雙面顯示器。
參閱圖1,已知的一種雙面顯示器,包含:間隔的一第一面板模組11與一第二面板模組12、一位於該第一面板模組11與該第二面板模組12之間的導光板13,以及一光源14。該導光板13包括一朝向該第一面板模組11的第一出光面131、一朝向該第二面板模組12的第二出光面132,以及一連接於該第一出光面131與該第二出光面132的一側的入光面133。該光源14位於該導光板13的入光面133一側,該光源14的光線進入該導光板13後,部分光線射向該第二出光面132,並可被該第二出光面132上的數個網點結構134朝該第一出光面131反射,以提供該第一面板模組11光線,部分光線射向該第一出光面131,並被該第一出光面131朝該第二出光面132反射,以提供該第二面板模組12光線。
一般而言,該第一面板模組11作為主要的顯示面板,並可受到充足的背光光線,而該第二面板模組12為 次要的顯示面板,但受限於上述的光反射與導光方式,提供至該第二面板模組12的光線較為不足,導致第二面板模組12亮度過低,顯示畫面視感不佳,故已知的雙面顯示器有待改良。
因此,本發明之目的,即在提供一種能提高亮度,使雙面顯示畫面的光線皆充足的雙面顯示器。
於是,本發明雙面顯示器,包含:間隔的一第一面板模組與一第二面板模組、一導光板、一第一光源,以及一增亮膜。該導光板位於該第一面板模組與該第二面板模組之間,並包括一朝向該第一面板模組的第一出光面、一與該第一出光面間隔相對且朝向該第二面板模組的第二出光面、一連接於該第一出光面與該第二出光面的一側的第一入光面,以及數個位於該第二出光面的反射結構。該第一光源位於該導光板的第一入光面的一側。該增亮膜位於該導光板的第二出光面與該第二面板模組間,並包括數個突出的聚光結構,該等聚光結構的間距大於該等反射結構的尺寸。
本發明提供的另一種雙面顯示器,與前述第一種雙面顯示器不同的是,省略設置該增亮膜,而且該等反射結構的尺寸為11μm~13μm。
本發明提供的再一種雙面顯示器,與前述第一種雙面顯示器不同的是,省略設置該增亮膜,而且該導光板還包括一與該第一入光面間隔相對的第二入光面,該雙 面顯示器還包含一位於該第二入光面的一側的第二光源。位於該導光板中央部位的該等反射結構的排列密度大於鄰近於該第一入光面或該第二入光面的該等反射結構的排列密度。
本發明之功效:前述第一種雙面顯示器,藉由設置該增亮膜,並且將增亮膜的間距設計成比該等反射結構的尺寸大,從而能提高該第二出光面的發光率,使第二面板模組有足夠亮度,呈現較佳的顯示畫面。故本發明的創新結構,使顯示器的雙面亮度高,該兩面板都具有高輝度、畫面視感佳之優點。前述第二種與第三種雙面顯示器,同樣能達到上述優異功效。

本發明之其他的特徵及功效,將於參照圖式的實施方式中清楚地呈現,其中:圖1是一種已知雙面顯示器的示意圖,且圖中以箭頭示意光行進方向;圖2是本發明雙面顯示器的一第一實施例的示意圖,且圖中以箭頭示意光行進方向;圖3是該第一實施例的部分元件的局部放大圖;及圖4是本發明雙面顯示器的一第二實施例的一導光板的示意圖。
參閱圖2、3,本發明雙面顯示器之一第一實施 例包含:間隔相對的一第一面板模組2與一第二面板模組3、一導光板4、一第一光源5、一第二光源6,以及一增亮膜7。
該第一面板模組2與第二面板模組3例如液晶面板模組,兩者分別具有一第一顯示面21與一第二顯示面31,該第一顯示面21與該第二顯示面31朝向相反方向。其中,該第一面板模組2可作為雙面顯示器之正面的主要顯示面板,該第二面板模組3可作為背面的次要顯示面板。該第一面板模組2與第二面板模組3皆包括偏光膜、液晶層、配向膜、彩色濾光片、玻璃基板等元件,由於該兩面板模組2、3的結構非本發明的改良重點,故不再說明。
該導光板4位於該第一面板模組2與該第二面板模組3之間,並包括一朝向該第一面板模組2的第一出光面41、一與該第一出光面41間隔相對且朝向該第二面板模組3的第二出光面42、一連接於該第一出光面41與該第二出光面42的一側的第一入光面43、一連接於該第一出光面41與該第二出光面42的另一側並與該第一入光面43間隔相對的第二入光面44,以及數個位於該第二出光面42的反射結構45。該等反射結構45可將入射至該第二出光面42的光線朝該第一出光面41反射,而且部分光線仍可由該第二出光面42射出並射向該第二面板模組3。該等反射結構45可以利用印刷油墨網點而形成,所述油墨網點可以包含或不包含光擴散劑,藉由油墨網點使該第二出光面42形成可散射光線的霧面形態。此外,反射結構45也可以是藉 由將該第二出光面42進行蝕刻加工以形成凹凸起伏表面,進而可形成該等突出的反射結構45。又或者是於該導光板4押出成型時,藉由適當結構的押出模具,使該導光板4押出後即同時形成有該等反射結構45。
該等反射結構45的突出形態可為方形、弧形、三角形等等,較佳地為弧形突出結構。該等反射結構45的尺寸S較佳地為11μm~13μm,當反射結構45的尺寸S太小時,實際上難以製造;當太大例如超過13μm時,將導致其混光效果不佳。因此較佳地為11μm~13μm,如此可達到良好的擴散與散射光線效果,使入射而來的光線能確實被反射至該第一出光面41,在此同時,也有助於使充足的光線通過該第二出光面42而射向該第二面板模組3。
該第一光源5位於該導光板4的第一入光面43的一側。該第二光源6位於該導光板4的第二入光面44的一側。藉由第一光源5與第二光源6配合,可產生均勻亮度。但於實施上,也可以省略該第二光源6而僅設置該第一光源5,如此就可提供該第一面板模組2與該第二面板模組3足夠的光線。
該增亮膜7位於該導光板4的第二出光面42與該第二面板模組3間。該增亮膜7包括一朝向該導光板4的增亮入光面71、一朝向該第二面板模組3的增亮出光面72,以及數個突出設置於該增亮出光面72的聚光結構73。該增亮膜7於製造上可使用但不限於下述方法:在一PET基板表面塗布PMMA,並於PMMA上進行滾壓製程以形成 該等聚光結構73。該等聚光結構73的間距P(pitch)大於該等反射結構45的尺寸S,藉此使通過該第二出光面42的光線可經由該增亮膜7的增亮、聚光效果,提高出光亮度,以提供充足光線給該第二面板模組3。其中,當部分光線穿過該等反射結構45而射向該增亮膜7時,光線通過該等反射結構45會朝不同方向擴散,但發散超過反射結構45尺寸範圍的光線是不被希望的,因為如此會造成使用者觀看顯示器時,該等反射結構45被觀察到,故反射結構45尺寸不宜過大,因此本發明透過間距P>尺寸S的設計,使本發明整體的導光效果佳,可消除該等反射結構45的顯現,從而使顯示器畫質佳、視感良好。
所述聚光結構73的間距P是指任兩相鄰聚光結構73之相同部位之間的距離,例如為結構最高點之間的距離。較佳地,該等聚光結構73的間距P為25μm~50μm,聚光結構73的突出高度H為10μm~20μm,如此能發揮最佳聚光效果。該等聚光結構73可以為左右相鄰排列且長向延伸的柱狀形態,例如三角柱、半圓柱、方柱、梯形柱等等,也可以為複數個突出結構前後左右相鄰排列,例如金字塔結構、島狀結構等等。
本發明使用時,該第一光源5的光線自該第一入光面43進入該導光板4內部後,部分光線射向該第二出光面42並可被該等反射結構45反射而朝該第一出光面41射出,以提供該第一面板模組2光線,部分光線射向該第一出光面41,並可被該第一出光面41反射而朝該第二出光 面42射出,以提供該第二面板模組3光線。同樣地,該第二光源6的光線由該第二入光面44進入該導光板4後,最後同樣有部分光線朝該第一出光面41射出,部分朝該第二出光面42射出。無論是第一光源5或第二光源6的光線,由該第一出光面41射出的光線比例較高,故適合提供給作為主顯示面板的該第一面板模組2。另一方面,由該第二出光面42射出的光線,可受到該增亮膜7之聚光結構73的適當設計而集中在正向的一定角度範圍內,從而可提高該第二面板模組3的中心視角輝度、增加發光率,達到最佳的增亮效果。
補充說明的是,本發明實施時,也可在該第一面板模組2與該導光板4的第一出光面41之間也設置一增亮膜(圖未示),可提升該第一面板模組2的輝度。此增亮膜的結構、尺寸等設計皆可與該增亮膜7相同,且其數個聚光結構可朝向該第一面板模組2。
綜上所述,藉由設置該增亮膜7,並且將增亮膜7的間距P設計成比該等反射結構45的尺寸S大,從而能提高該第二出光面42處的發光率,使第二面板模組3有足夠亮度,呈現良好的顯示畫面。故本發明顯示器的雙面亮度高,該兩面板模組2、3都具有高輝度、畫面視感佳之優點。另一方面,本發明在不設置該增亮膜7的情況下,藉由該等反射結構45的尺寸S為11μm~13μm之設計,同樣能達到上述功效。
參閱圖4,本發明雙面顯示器之一第二實施例, 與該第一實施例的結構大致相同,不同的地方在於:本實施例的該導光板4的該等反射結構45中,位於該導光板4中央部位的該等反射結構45的排列密度大於鄰近於該第一入光面43或該第二入光面44的該等反射結構45的排列密度。由於該導光板4兩側入光面的光強度較強,而該導光板4中央部位則因為與該第一入光面43、該第二入光面44的距離較遠而光強度較弱,故透過本實施例的排列密度變化設計,可達到均勻的導光效果,並能達到與該第一實施例相同的功效。
惟以上所述者,僅為本發明之實施例而已,當不能以此限定本發明實施之範圍,凡是依本發明申請專利範圍及專利說明書內容所作之簡單的等效變化與修飾,皆仍屬本發明專利涵蓋之範圍內。

Claims (22)

  1. 一種雙面顯示器,包含:間隔的一第一面板模組與一第二面板模組;一導光板,位於該第一面板模組與該第二面板模組之間,並包括一朝向該第一面板模組的第一出光面、一與該第一出光面間隔相對且朝向該第二面板模組的第二出光面、一連接於該第一出光面與該第二出光面的一側的第一入光面,以及數個位於該第二出光面的反射結構;一第一光源,位於該導光板的第一入光面的一側;及一增亮膜,位於該導光板的第二出光面與該第二面板模組間,並包括數個突出的聚光結構,該等聚光結構的間距大於該等反射結構的尺寸。
  2. 如請求項1所述的雙面顯示器,其中,該等反射結構的尺寸為11μm~13μm。
  3. 如請求項1或2所述的雙面顯示器,其中,該等聚光結構的間距為25μm~50μm。
  4. 如請求項3所述的雙面顯示器,其中,該導光板還包括一與該第一入光面間隔相對的第二入光面,該雙面顯示器還包含一位於該第二入光面的一側的第二光源。
  5. 如請求項4所述的雙面顯示器,其中,該增亮膜還包括一朝向該導光板的增亮入光面,以及一朝向該第二面板模組的增亮出光面,該等聚光結構突出設置於該增亮出光面。
  6. 如請求項1所述的雙面顯示器,其中,該導光板還包括一與該第一入光面間隔相對的第二入光面,該雙面顯示器還包含一位於該第二入光面的一側的第二光源。
  7. 如請求項1或6所述的雙面顯示器,其中,該增亮膜還包括一朝向該導光板的增亮入光面,以及一朝向該第二面板模組的增亮出光面,該等聚光結構突出設置於該增亮出光面。
  8. 如請求項3所述的雙面顯示器,其中,該等聚光結構的突出高度為10μm~20μm。
  9. 一種雙面顯示器,包含:間隔的一第一面板模組與一第二面板模組;一導光板,位於該第一面板模組與該第二面板模組之間,並包括一朝向該第一面板模組的第一出光面、一與該第一出光面間隔相對且朝向該第二面板模組的第二出光面、一連接於該第一出光面與該第二出光面的一側的第一入光面,以及數個位於該第二出光面的反射結構,該等反射結構的尺寸為11μm~13μm;及一第一光源,位於該導光板的第一入光面的一側。
  10. 如請求項9所述的雙面顯示器,還包含一位於該導光板的第二出光面與該第二面板模組間的增亮膜,該增亮膜包括數個突出的聚光結構,該等聚光結構的間距大於該等反射結構的尺寸。
  11. 如請求項10所述的雙面顯示器,其中,該等聚光結構的間距為25μm~50μm。
  12. 如請求項10或11所述的雙面顯示器,其中,該導光板還包括一與該第一入光面間隔相對的第二入光面,該雙面顯示器還包含一位於該第二入光面的一側的第二光源。
  13. 如請求項12所述的雙面顯示器,其中,該增亮膜還包括一朝向該導光板的增亮入光面,以及一朝向該第二面板模組的增亮出光面,該等聚光結構突出設置於該增亮出光面。
  14. 如請求項9所述的雙面顯示器,其中,該導光板還包括一與該第一入光面間隔相對的第二入光面,該雙面顯示器還包含一位於該第二入光面的一側的第二光源。
  15. 如請求項10或11所述的雙面顯示器,其中,該增亮膜還包括一朝向該導光板的增亮入光面,以及一朝向該第二面板模組的增亮出光面,該等聚光結構突出設置於該增亮出光面。
  16. 如請求項10或11所述的雙面顯示器,其中,該等聚光結構的突出高度為10μm~20μm。
  17. 一種雙面顯示器,包含:間隔的一第一面板模組與一第二面板模組;一導光板,位於該第一面板模組與該第二面板模組之間,並包括一朝向該第一面板模組的第一出光面、一與該第一出光面間隔相對且朝向該第二面板模組的第二出光面、一連接於該第一出光面與該第二出光面的一側的第一入光面,以及數個位於該第二出光面的反射結構;及一第一光源,位於該導光板的第一入光面的一側;其中,該導光板還包括一與該第一入光面間隔相對的第二入光面,該雙面顯示器還包含一位於該第二入光面的一側的第二光源;位於該導光板中央部位的該等反射結構的排列密度大於鄰近於該第一入光面或該第二入光面的該等反射結構的排列密度。
  18. 如請求項17所述的雙面顯示器,其中,該等反射結構的尺寸為11μm~13μm。
  19. 如請求項17或18所述的雙面顯示器,還包含一位於該導光板的第二出光面與該第二面板模組間的增亮膜,該增亮膜包括數個突出的聚光結構,該等聚光結構的間距大於該等反射結構的尺寸。
  20. 如請求項19所述的雙面顯示器,其中,該等聚光結構的間距為25μm~50μm。
  21. 如請求項19所述的雙面顯示器,其中,該增亮膜還包括一朝向該導光板的增亮入光面,以及一朝向該第二面板模組的增亮出光面,該等聚光結構突出設置於該增亮出光面。
  22. 如請求項19所述的雙面顯示器,其中,該等聚光結構的突出高度為10μm~20μm。
