Claims (24)
- 一種多視角背光板,包括: 一平面背光板,被配置為射出散射光;以及 一擋光層,具有與該平面背光板的一表面相鄰的複數個孔洞,該等孔洞係被配置為允許一部分的光通過該導光層成為複數條定向光束; 其中,一個該孔洞的尺寸係可比較於一多視角顯示器的一多視角像素中的一子像素的尺寸。
- 根據申請專利範圍第1項所述的多視角背光板,其中,該等定向光束係包括具有與一多視角顯示器的觀看方向對應之方向的定向光束。
- 根據申請專利範圍第1項所述的多視角背光板,其中,該平面背光板係包括: 一導光體,被配置為將一光源提供的光引導為導光;以及 一光擷取特徵被配置為將一部分的導光散射出該導光體成為散射光。
- 根據申請專利範圍第1項所述的多視角背光板,其中,該擋光層為一反射擋光層。
- 根據申請專利範圍第1項所述的多視角背光板,其中,其該孔洞的尺寸係介於該子像素的尺寸的百分之五十至百分之兩百之間。
- 一種可切換模式的背光板,包括根據申請專利範圍第1項所述的該多視角背光板,該多視角背光板為在一三維(3D)操作模式中提供該等定向光束的一第一平面背光板,該可切換模式的背光板進一步包括被配置為在一二維(2D)操作模式中提供漫射光的一第二平面背光板。
- 根據申請專利範圍第6項所述的可切換模式的背光板,其中,該擋光層係位於該第一平面背光板以及該第二平面背光板之間,該第二平面背光板具有與該等孔洞對齊的複數個開口,其中,該等開口係被配置為讓該等定向光束從該第一平面背光板通過該第二平面背光板。
- 一種根據申請專利範圍第6項所述的可切換模式的背光板,其中,該第一平面背光板以及該第二平面背光板係共享一共同導光體,該可切換模式的背光板係進一步包括: 一第一光源,被配置為在該3D操作模式中將具有一第一偏振的光提供至該共同導光體;以及 一第二光源,被配置為在該2D操作模式中將具有一第二偏振的光提供至該導光體; 其中,該擋光層係被配置為對於由該共同導光體散射且具有該第二偏振的光而言具有透明性,並且,被配置為對於由該共同導光體散射且具有該第一偏振的光而言除了在該等孔洞的位置以外具有不透明性。
- 根據申請專利範圍第8項所述的可切換模式的背光板,其中,該第一偏振為橫向磁場(Transverse Magnetic, TM),而該第二偏振為橫向電場(Transverse Electric, TE)。
- 一種二維/三維(2D/3D)模式切換顯示器,包括申請專利範圍第1項所述的多視角背光板,該2D/3D模式切換電子顯示器係進一步包括: 一平面背光板,被配置為在一二維(2D)操作模式中提供漫射光,該多視角背光板被配置為在一三維(3D)操作模式中提供該等定向光束;以及 一光閥陣列,被配置為在該3D操作模式中對來自該多視角背光板的該等定向光束進行調變以提供一3D影像,並且在該2D操作模式中對來自該平面背光板的該漫射光進行調變以提供一2D影像。
- 一種二維/三維(2D/3D)模式切換顯示器,包括: 一可切換模式的背光板,被配置為在一三維(3D)操作模式中提供複數條定向光束並且在一二維(2D)操作模式中提供漫射光,該可切換模式的背光板係包括一導光體以及在該導光體的一第一表面具有複數個孔洞的一擋光層,該等孔洞中的每一個孔洞係被配置為接收來自該導光體的散射光並且在該3D操作模式中提供該等定向光束;以及 一光閥陣列,被配置為在該2D操作模式中對該漫射光進行調變,並且在該3D操作模式中對該等定向光束進行調變。
- 根據申請專利範圍第11項所述的2D/3D模式切換顯示器,其中,該導光體以及該擋光層為一第一平面背光板,該可切換模式的背光板係進一步包括在該2D操作模式中提供該漫射光的一第二平面背光板,該第二平面背光板係位於該光閥陣列以及該擋光層之間並且具有與該擋光層的該等孔洞對齊的複數個開口,藉此允許該等定向光束在該3D操作模式中通過該第二平面背光板。
- 根據申請專利範圍第12項所述的2D/3D模式切換顯示器,其中,該第二平面背光板係包括: 一導光體,被配置為將一光源提供的光引導為導光,該第二平面背光板的該導光體與該第一平面背光板的該導光體分離; 一光擷取特徵,被配置為將部分的該導光從該第二平面背光板的該導光體散射出來成為散射光;以及 一光漫射器,用於將該散射光轉換為該漫射光; 其中,該光源係選擇性地在該2D操作模式中提供至該第二平面背光板的該導光體。
- 根據申請專利範圍第11項所述的2D/3D模式切換顯示器,其中,該可切換模式的背光板係進一步包括: 一第一光源,被配置為在該3D操作模式中將具有一第一偏振的光提供至該導光體,該擋光層被配置為對於從該導光體中散射出來的具有該第一偏振的光而言除了在該等孔洞的位置以外具有不透明性;以及 一第二光源,被配置為在該2D操作模式中將具有一第二偏振的光提供至該導光體,該擋光層被配置為對於從該導光體散射出來的具有該第二偏振的光而言具有透明性。
- 根據申請專利範圍第11項所述的2D/3D模式切換顯示器,其中,該等孔洞中的一孔洞的尺寸係介於該光閥陣列中的一光閥的尺寸的百分之五十至百分之兩百之間。
- 根據申請專利範圍第11項所述的2D/3D模式切換顯示器,進一步包括一模式控制電路,其係被配置為選擇性地控制該可切換模式的背光板的2D/3D模式切換。
- 根據申請專利範圍第11項所述的2D/3D模式切換顯示器,其中,該擋光層為一反射擋光層。
- 根據申請專利範圍第11項所述的2D/3D模式切換顯示器,進一步包括位於該導光體與該擋光層相鄰的一表面相對的一表面上的一反射膜,該反射膜係用於將雜散光反射回該導光體以回收該雜散光。
- 一種背光板的操作方法,該方法包括以下步驟: 利用一平面背光板提供散射光; 將該散射光從該平面背光板朝向具有複數個孔洞的一擋光層定向;以及 利用該等孔洞中的一孔洞從該散射光提供複數條定向光束; 其中,該孔洞的尺寸係可比較於採用該背光板的一顯示器的一光閥陣列中的一光閥的尺寸。
- 根據申請專利範圍第19項所述的背光板的操作方法,其中,該等定向光束係包括具有與一多視角顯示器的觀看方向對應之方向的定向光束。
- 根據申請專利範圍第19項所述的背光板的操作方法,進一步包括: 在一二維(2D)操作模式中提供漫射光,並且在一三維(3D)操作模式中提供該等定向光束; 其中,該背光板是一2D/3D模式切換背光板。
- 根據申請專利範圍第21項所述的背光板的操作方法,其中,該漫射光是由位在該擋光層以及該顯示器的該光閥陣列之間的另一平面背光板提供。
- 根據申請專利範圍第21項所述的背光板的操作方法,其中,除了在該等孔洞的位置以外,該擋光層係阻擋具有一第一偏振的光的傳輸並且允許具有一第二偏振的光的傳輸,藉由根據該第一偏振被偏振的光照射與該擋光層相鄰的該平面背光板的一導光體在該3D操作模式中提供該等定向光束,並且,藉由根據該第二偏振被偏振的光照射該導光體在該2D操作模式中提供該漫射光。
