Wiring device fastening device

The present invention relates to a wiring device fastening device.

An example of a floor socket embedded in a concrete floor is described in Japanese Laid-Open Patent Publication No. 5-236623. The floor socket comprises a box portion, a cover portion, a socket module, and a floor panel. The box portion is quadrangular and includes an upper opening. The cover is attached to the box to close the opening. A plug is freely connectable to and disconnected from the socket module. The floor panel is coupled to the cover.

The cover is in the form of a quadrangular box having a low height and including a lower opening. The floor panel is fastened to the center of the cover.

The socket module includes a socket and a clamp. A plug is freely connectable to and disconnected from the socket. The clamp is used to snap the socket to the socket module. The clamp has a lower end portion connecting the cover portion and an upper end portion connecting the floor panel.

Japanese Laid-Open Patent Publication No. 11-204206 describes an example of a frame for fastening an embedded wiring device to a distribution box or the like. This frame enables the wiring harness to be easily fastened.

In the floor socket described in Japanese Laid-Open Patent Publication No. 5-236623, the wiring device of the socket module is integrally formed with a jig for fastening the wiring device to the socket module. Therefore, when the wiring device is removed, the wiring device needs to be removed together with the jig. This makes it difficult to remove the wiring harness.

In the embedded wiring device described in Japanese Laid-Open Patent Publication No. 11-204206, the frame makes the wiring device easy to remove.

Therefore, the frame of the floor socket described in Japanese Laid-Open Patent Publication No. 5-236623 can be attached to the frame of the Japanese Laid-Open Patent Publication No. Hei. This assists in removing the clamp when removing the wiring harness and makes the wiring harness easy to remove. However, the frame includes a release piece that needs to be pushed by a screwdriver or the like to remove the wiring harness from the frame. In this case, when the jig covers the release piece of the frame, the efficiency of removing the wiring device cannot be increased.

It is an object of the present invention to provide a wiring fixture fastening device that assists in the removal of a wiring fixture.

An embodiment of the present invention is a wiring device fastening device, comprising: a frame for holding a wiring device in a removable manner; a clamp for holding the frame; and a buried unit for burying the clamp Placed under the floor. The frame includes a remover located at one end of the frame and configured to remove the wiring harness from the frame when operated from the front of the frame. The embedding unit is constructed such that the wiring device communicates with the outside through an opening in the floor. The clamp includes a snap-fit plate that snaps to the front of the frame. In the wiring fixture fastening device according to the present invention, the fastening plate of the clamp allows the remover of the frame to be operated from the front side of the frame. Therefore, the wiring device fastening device according to the present invention contributes to the removal of the wiring device.

One embodiment of a wiring harness fastening device will now be described with reference to Figs.

A floor wiring device 1 will now be described with reference to Figs. 2 and 3, which uses a wiring device fastening device (hereinafter simply referred to as a fastening device). The floor wiring device 1 is also referred to as a floor socket.

The floor wiring device 1 embedded in the concrete floor panel 100 includes a box portion 2 and a wiring device 8 (socket), and the wiring device 8 is housed in the box portion 2. A power plug (not shown) is coupled to the wiring appliance 8 to provide both power, information, or power and information to a device (not shown) that is coupled to the power plug. The wiring device 8 of the present embodiment is exemplified by a grounding socket including a disconnecting stopper. However, the wiring device is not limited to the socket.

The floor wiring device 1 includes the fastening device of the present embodiment, which is connected to the box portion 2 and a floor panel 7. The fastening device comprises: a buried unit formed by a buried cover portion 3 and adjustment plates 5 and 6; and a wiring device module 4.

The box portion 2 formed of metal is quadrangular and has an upper opening. A snap tab 202 extends from each of the two opposing side walls of the box portion 2. The embedded cover portion 3 is fastened to the fastening piece 202. Each of the fastening pieces 202 includes a screw hole 202a. A screw 11 is bolted to the screw hole 202a to snap the embedded cover portion 3 to the case portion 2.

The bottom wall of the box portion 2 includes a screw hole 203. A screw 12 is bolted to the screw hole 203 to fasten the grounding wire 18 to the box portion 2. Further, the cable tube 110 is connected to a side wall of the box portion 2 (as shown in the left side wall of FIG. 2).

The embedded cover portion 3 includes a body 30 formed of a metallic material and having the form of a quadrilateral frame. A horizontally wide quadrilateral opening 301 extends through the center of the body 30. The four corners of the body 30 include screw holes 305 that receive adjustment screws 14 for adjusting the height of the adjustment plate 6. Further, the box portion 2 includes an insertion hole 304 which is positioned at a position corresponding to the screw hole 202a of the box portion 2, and the screw 11 is inserted through the insertion hole 304.

The fastening pieces 302 and 303 extend from the longitudinal edge of the opening 301 toward the upper side, respectively, and include ends that are bent outward (away from the opening 301). The fastening piece 302 includes a screw hole 302a. A screw 13 is bolted to the screw hole 302a to fasten the wiring harness module 4 to the embedded cover portion 3. In the same manner, the fastening piece 303 includes a screw hole 303a, and a screw 13 is bolted to the screw hole 303a.

The wiring device module 4 includes a wiring device 8, a frame 9, and a jig 41.

As shown in Figure 1, the cross-width quadrilateral clamp 41 includes a snap-fit plate 411 that extends obliquely such that the one-sided end is higher than the other lateral end. A quadrangular opening 411a (refer to FIG. 1A) extends through the center of the fastening plate 411 to expose the functional surface of the wiring harness 8 (including the surface of the socket 81).

Referring to FIG. 2, an extension portion 412 extends horizontally from the upper side end of the fastening plate 411. The end of the extension 412 includes a snap tab 414. The fastening tab 414 includes a groove 414a through which the corresponding screw 13 is inserted. An extension portion 413 extends obliquely upward and upward from the lower side of the fastening plate 411. The end of the extension portion 413 includes a fastening piece 415. The fastening tab 415 includes a groove 415a through which the corresponding screw 13 is inserted.

Referring to Fig. 4, the frame 9 is quadrangular, formed of synthetic resin, and includes an opening 901. The frame 9 includes a two-long frame portion 91 and two short frame portions 92, and the short frame portion 92 is integrally formed with the long frame portion 91 and connects the ends of the long frame portion 91. The upper surface of the second long frame portion 91 is higher than the upper surface of the second short frame portion 92. One of the long frame portions 91 (the left frame portion in FIG. 4A) includes a snap hole 93 corresponding to the position at which the wiring harness 8 is fastened. The other outer long frame portion 91 (the right frame portion in FIG. 4A) also includes a fastening hole 93, and a release piece 94 (remover) protruding from the fastening hole 93. The center of each of the two short frame portions 92 includes a screw hole 95. The frame 9 holds the wiring device 8 such that the front surface of the wiring device 8 passes through the opening 901 to communicate with the outside.

As shown in FIG. 5, the wiring device 8 is a socket including two sockets 81. The socket includes: a socket body 80 which is box-shaped and formed of synthetic resin; and a socket frame 82 that is fastened to the socket body 80.

The front side of the socket body 80 includes two sockets 81. The socket body 80 houses a pin receiving container corresponding to the socket 81, and a quick connection terminal (not shown) for connecting a power cable (not shown).

The socket frame 82, which is quadrangular and formed of a metal material, has four corners including a fastening piece 821. The fastening piece 821 of the socket frame 82 is fitted into the corresponding fastening hole 93 to snap the wiring device 8 to the frame 9. This type of socket is known in the art and will therefore not be described in detail.

The fastening plate 411 covering the front surface of the frame 9 is fastened to the frame 9 by bolting the screw 17 to the screw hole 95. When the release piece 94 is covered by the fastening plate 411, the wiring device 8 cannot be removed from the frame 9 as long as the frame 9 is fastened to the jig 41. Therefore, referring to FIG. 1B, in the present embodiment, the length of the fastening plate 411 from the center of the screw hole 95 to the portion connecting the fastening plate 411 and the extending portion 413 is smaller than the center from the screw hole 95 to the side including the releasing piece 94. The length of the frame 9 (refer to Fig. 1B). This exposes the release sheet 94 to the outside of the fastening plate 411.

Referring to FIG. 2, when the wiring device 8 is fastened to the jig 41, the opening 411a exposes the surface of the wiring device 8 including the socket hole to the front side of the fastening plate 411.

As shown in Fig. 2, the adjustment plate 5 comprises a body 50 formed of a metallic material and having the form of a quadrilateral frame. A quadrilateral opening 501 extends through the center of the body 50. The four corners of the main body 50 include a socket 502 and a screw hole 503. The adjustment screw 14 is inserted into the insertion hole 502. The screw hole 503 receives a screw 15 for snapping the adjustment plate 6 to the adjustment plate 5.

In the same manner as the adjustment plate 5, the adjustment plate 6 comprises a body 60 which is formed of a metallic material and has the form of a quadrilateral frame. A quadrilateral opening 601 extends through the center of the body 60. The four corners of the main body 60 include a socket 602 and a screw hole 603. The screw 15 is inserted through the insertion hole 602. The screw hole 603 receives a screw 16 for snapping the floor panel 7 to the adjustment plate 6.

The floor panel 7 molded from, for example, aluminum includes a quadrilateral panel frame 70, a cover 71, and a through-wire sheet 72. A quadrilateral opening 701 extends through the center of the panel frame 70. The screw seats extending from the four corners of the panel frame 70 into the opening 701 each include a receptacle 702 through which the corresponding screw 16 is inserted.

The cover 71 is formed by a quadrangular plate. One side of the cover 71 includes a laterally wide quadrangular groove (not shown). Also, in the vicinity of the slot, the cover 71 includes a quadrangular opening (not shown) that exposes a cover button (not shown) that operates to open and close the cover 71. The outer dimensions of the cover 71 are set to be slightly smaller than the size of the opening 701 in the panel frame 70.

The side adjacent to the cover 71 containing the side of the groove is pivotally supported by the sheet frame 70. The cover 71 is moved between a position where the cover 71 closes the opening 701 of the sheet frame 70 and a position where the cover 71 opens the opening 701 (the position shown in Fig. 2).

The wire sheet 72 includes a body 721 formed of a horizontally wide quadrangular plate. The plurality of (three in the present embodiment) leg portions 722 extend downward from the lower surface of the main body 721 at equal intervals from each other. A sleeve 74 that protects the cable connected to the power plug is located between adjacent legs 722. The outer dimension of the main body 721 of the wire piece 72 is set to be slightly smaller than the size of the groove in the cover 71.

One side of the wire piece 72 is pivotally supported by the cover 71. This enables the wire sheet 72 to move between a position where the wire sheet 72 closes the groove of the cover 71 and a position where the wire sheet 72 opens the groove.

The procedure for installing the floor wiring device 1 will now be described. The following description is provided on the assumption that the box portion 2 of the embedded cover portion 3 has been engaged, and the concrete floor panel 100 has been embedded at a predetermined position. It is also assumed that the wiring tool module 4 has been prepared by snapping the wiring device 8 to the frame 9 and fixing the frame 9 to the fastening plate 411 with screws 17.

The person who installs the floor wiring device 1 first pulls a cable (not shown) from the cable tube 110 into the box portion 2, and inserts the cable into a wiring hole (not shown) located in the back surface of the wiring device 8. The grounding wire 18 drawn from the cable tube 110 into the box portion 2 is fixed to the bottom wall of the box portion 2 by a screw. Next, when the wiring tool module 4 is placed in the box portion 2 via the opening 301 of the embedding cover portion 3, the wiring tool module 4 is fastened to the embedding cover portion 3 by the screw 13. Here, the wiring tool module 4 is disposed such that the longitudinal direction of the fastening plate 411 of the jig 41 coincides with the longitudinal direction of the opening 301 of the embedded cover portion 3.

Next, the person who installs the floor wiring device 1 inserts the adjustment screw 14 into the insertion hole 502 of the adjustment plate 5, and bolts the adjustment screw 14 to the screw hole 305 of the embedded cover portion 3. Here, the height of each of the adjusting screws 14 is adjusted in accordance with the thickness of the surface material (for example, a carpet tile) laid on the floor surface. Next, the adjustment plate 6 is fastened to the adjustment plate 5 with screws 15. When the adjustment plate 6 is fastened to the adjustment plate 5, the head of each adjustment screw 14 is held between the adjustment plate 5 and the adjustment plate 6. This holds the upper adjustment plate 6 at the height set by the screwing amount of each of the adjustment screws 14.

Finally, the person installing the floor wiring device 1 fastens the floor panel 7 to the adjustment plate 6 with the screw 16, so that the axial direction of the cover 71 coincides with the lateral direction of the opening 301 of the embedded cover portion 3, and the passage is made The wire 72 is located on the same side as the cable tube 110. The installation of the floor wiring device 1 is thus completed. When the floor wiring device 1 is mounted in the floor, the upper surface of the main body 60 of the adjustment plate 6 is in planar contact with the lower surface of the sheet frame 70. A procedure for connecting a power plug to the wiring harness 8 will now be described. First, the user opens the cover 71 by moving the opening button in the opening direction on the upper surface of the cover 71 in the floor panel 7. Next, the user connects the power plug to the socket 81 of the wiring device 8 housed in the box portion 2.

Subsequently, the user moves the wire piece 72 in the opening direction while keeping the cover 71 open. The user then closes the cover 71 while maintaining the wire tab 72 open. Here, the sleeve 74 protects a cable (not shown) that is connected to the power plug. Further, the cable is drawn through an opening in the through wire 72.

A procedure for disconnecting a power plug from the wiring harness 8 will now be described. First, the user opens the cover 71 by moving the opening button in the opening direction on the upper surface of the cover 71 in the floor panel 7. Next, the user disconnects the power plug from the socket 81 of the wiring device 8. Subsequently, the user moves the wire piece 72 in a closing direction while maintaining the cover 71 open. The user then closes the cover 71. In this way, when the local board wiring device 1 is not in use, the wire sheet 72 is closed so as not to become an obstacle.

Finally, a procedure for removing the wiring device 8 from the fastening device for maintenance or the like will be described. In this example, it is assumed that the floor panel 7, the adjustment panels 5 and 6, and the power plug have been removed. The screw 13 is loosened to remove the wiring harness module 4. For example, a tool of the screwdriver is inserted between the long frame portion 91 and each of the releasing pieces 94 from the front surface of the engaging plate 411 of the jig 41 fastened to the front surface of the frame 9 to press the releasing piece 94 away from the outer side of the long frame portion 91. . When each of the releasing pieces 94 is pressed, the corresponding engaging piece 821 of the wiring device 8 is removed from the corresponding engaging hole 93, and the engaging hole 93 is attached to one side of the frame 9. Then, the remaining fastening pieces 821 are removed from the fastening holes 93 on the other side of the frame 9.

The wiring device fastening device of the present embodiment includes: a frame 9 that removably holds the wiring device 8; a jig 41 that holds the frame 9; and a buried unit (embedded cover portion 3 and adjustment plate 5 and 6), which is used to bury the clamp 41 under the floor. The frame 9 includes a remover (release piece 94) which is located at one end of the frame 9 (long frame portion 91), and when operated from the front side of the frame 9 (when force acts from the front side of the frame 9) causes the wiring device 8 can be removed from the frame 9. The embedding unit is constructed such that the wiring device 8 communicates with the outside through the opening 101 in the floor panel 100. The jig 41 includes a fastening plate 411 that is fastened to the front surface of the frame 9. The snap-fit plate 411 is configured to enable the remover to be operated from the front of the frame 9 (allowing force to act on the remover from the front of the frame 9).

Therefore, the wiring device fastening device of the present embodiment is configured such that the fastening plate 411 of the jig 41 allows the remover to be operated from the front surface of the frame 9. This enables the wiring harness 8 to be easily removed from the frame 9 while maintaining the frame 9 fixed to the jig 41.
