前記課題を解決するため、本発明に係る中空壁用配線器具取付装置は、配線器具が取り付けられる取付枠と、該取付枠に取付ネジにて回動自在に架着された挟み金具とを有し、上記取付ネジを締めこむことによって中空壁に穿設された配線器具の取付穴の周縁部を上記取付枠と挟み金具とで挟持して中空壁に固定される中空壁用配線器具取付装置であって、上記挟み金具には、取付ネジ螺着部に連設して上記取付ネジの締め込み時に中空壁に穿設された配線器具の取付穴の内側周縁部に密着する当接部と、該当接部に連設され、上記取付穴の内側周縁部に挟み金具を固定する位置固定爪部とが設けられ、上記当接部は第1の弾性変形部を介して上記取付ネジ螺着部に連設され、上記位置固定爪部は第2の弾性変形部を介して上記当接部から斜め上方に向かって連設されていることを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
図1は、本発明に係る中空壁用配線器具取付装置(以下、取付装置という)Aを示し、この取付装置Aは取付枠1と挟み金具2とで構成され、取付ネジ3を取付枠1の両側に形成された挿通孔4を介して挟み金具2のネジ孔5に螺合させ(図2参照)、挟み金具2を中空壁6に穿設された取付穴7の内側に差し込み、取付ネジ3を締め込むことによって、取付枠1の張り出し部1aと挟み金具2とで取付穴7の周縁部を挟持させるようにして中空壁6に固定できるようになっているもので、スイッチなどの配線器具Bを取付枠1の開口部8に最大3個まで取り付けられるようになっているものである。

取付枠1は、図3に示すように、中央に配線器具を取り付ける開口部8が形成され、長手方向両端に張り出した張り出し部1aには取付ネジ3を挿通させる挿通孔4が形成されるとともに、挿通孔4の両側には、後述する挟み金具2を回動可能に支持する支持孔10が形成されている。そして、支持孔10の内周面の一部から支持片10aが内方に突出形成されている。中空壁6に穿設される取付穴7は上記取付枠1の両端部が取付穴7の外側面の縁部に重なるように形成されていればよい。

挟み金具2の横板部13は、縦板部11に近い中央部分には取付ネジ3が螺合する雌ネジ部5が設けられた取付ネジ螺着部14を形成し、このネジ螺着部14には中空壁6の内側の縁部に当接する当接部15が連設されている。ネジ螺着部14と当接部15とが連接する部分には第1の弾性変形部16が形成されている。この第1の弾性変形部16は2つの長孔17によって切り取られた残りの3つの連結部で構成され、この連結部16が撓む(弾性変形する)ことによって当接部15はネジ螺着部14に対し上下方向に回動できるようになっている。

上記構成の取付装置Aによれば、図5に示すように、取付枠1と挟み金具2とを取付ネジ3で軽く連結した状態で、両方の挟み金具2の当接部15が取付穴7から中空壁6の裏側面6aに入り込むように中空壁6にセットする。その状態で取付ネジ3を締めこむと、位置固定爪20の先端20aが中空壁6の裏側面6aに当接するが、さらに取付ネジ3を締め込むと、第2の弾性変形部21が撓んで位置固定爪20の先端20aは中空壁6の裏側面6aに軽く噛み込む状態になる。このとき当接部15も中空壁6の裏側面6aに当接するが、第1の弾性変形部16が撓んで当接部15は中空壁6の裏側面6aに圧接し、取付枠1の張り出し部1aと当接部15とで取付穴7の周縁を挟持する状態になる(図6参照)。

本発明によれば、取付ネジを締めこむと第1の弾性変形部が撓んで当接部全面が中空壁の内壁面に圧接するとともに、位置固定爪部が内壁面に噛み込んで、取付枠を中空壁に確実に固定させることができる。しかも、第2の弾性変形部が撓むことにより位置固定爪部が中空壁に強く噛み込むことがなく、中空壁を大きく傷つけることがないので、長期に渡って配線器具を使用することにより取付装置に加えられる負荷で中空壁を損傷させるようなことがなくなる。
