Claims (20)
- 一種用於圖形處理之方法,其包含:偵測一配接器之連接;在一外部裝置連接至該配接器之情況下及在該外部裝置並未連接至該配接器之情況下,在連接該配接器後,確證熱插拔偵測;偵測作為該外部裝置之一外部顯示器之連接,其中該外部顯示器經由該配接器連接至一電子裝置;在該外部顯示器連接至該電子裝置後,判定一電子裝置之至少兩個圖形處理單元(GPU)中之一第一GPU是否為作用中的;及若在該外部顯示器連接至該電子裝置後該第一GPU並非作用中的,則啟動該第一GPU以提供輸出給該外部顯示器。
- 如請求項1之方法,其包含接收一熱插拔偵測(HPD)脈衝,該HPD脈衝係基於該外部顯示器之連接。
- 如請求項1之方法,其包含:若該第一GPU並非作用中的,則啟動該第一GPU以提供輸出給該外部顯示器及一內部顯示器。
- 如請求項1之方法,其中偵測一外部顯示器至該電子裝置的連接包含:讀取一暫存器以接收對該外部顯示器之該連接之一指示。
- 如請求項1之方法,其包含偵測該外部顯示器經由該配接器與該電子裝置斷開。
- 如請求項5之方法,其包含在斷開該配接器後撤銷確證熱插拔偵測。
- 如請求項5之方法,其包含在斷開該外部顯示器後選擇該至少兩個GPU中之一第二GPU來提供輸出給一內部顯示器及撤銷啟動該第一GPU。
- 如請求項5之方法,其包含接收一熱插拔偵測脈衝,該熱插拔偵測脈衝係基於該外部顯示器之斷開。
- 如請求項5之方法,其中偵測該外部顯示器與該電子裝置斷開包含:讀取一暫存器以接收對該外部顯示器之該斷開之一指示。
- 如請求項1之方法,其中該配接器包含一主動配接器。
- 如請求項1之方法,其中該第一GPU與該電子裝置之一第二GPU相比而言具有較大之圖形處理能力。
- 一種用於圖形處理之系統,其包含:一電子裝置,其包含:一處理器;一第一圖形處理單元(GPU),其耦接至該處理器;一第二GPU,其耦接至該處理器;及一記憶體,其耦接至該處理器,該記憶體儲存將由該處理器執行以進行以下操作之指令:在一外部裝置連接至一配接器之情況下及在該外部裝置並未連接至該配接器之情況下,在連接該配接器後,確證熱插拔偵測;偵測一熱插拔偵測(HPD)脈衝,該HPD脈衝係基 於作為該外部裝置之一外部顯示器之連接;在連接該外部顯示器後,判定該第一GPU或該第二GPU是否為作用中的;及若在連接該外部顯示器後該第一GPU並非作用中的,則啟動該第一GPU以提供輸出給該外部顯示器。

- 一種用於圖形處理之方法,其包含:偵測一配接器至一電子裝置之連接,其中該配接器將一第一介面轉換成一第二介面;在一外部裝置連接至該配接器之情況下及在該外部裝置並未連接至該配接器之情況下,在連接該配接器後,確證熱插拔偵測;讀取對作為該外部裝置之一外部顯示器經由該第二介面至該配接器之連接之一指示;及 基於該指示而啟動該電子裝置之至少兩個GPU中之一第一GPU。
- 如請求項16之方法,其包含在連接該配接器後確證熱插拔偵測。
- 如請求項17之方法,其中讀取對一外部裝置之連接的一指示包含在偵測一熱插拔偵測脈衝後讀取一暫存器。
- 如請求項16之方法,其包含讀取對該外部顯示器經由該第二介面與該配接器斷開之一指示。
- 如請求項16之方法,其包含偵測該配接器與該電子裝置斷開。
