Abstract

Description

摩托車引擎
本發明關於一種摩托車引擎,特別地係一種配備有一感測器來量測流通過感測器之廢氣中含氧量的摩托車引擎。
如摩托車工業中已知者,抗污染規定愈來愈嚴格,且需要在愈來愈短之時間中滿足污染參數。
如此,法律規定之限制傾向大幅減少「冷」引擎操作階段中之污染物排放,此等階段以比例而言,代表具有最高內燃機引擎排放發生率之階段。
同時,摩托車工業中愈來愈需要降低保養操作期間之人工成本及時間。
為了減少污染物排放,已知在引擎頭部上佈置感測器來量測含氧量;如此將使感測器儘可能快速地達到最佳操作溫度。
然而,此種定位意味著在感測器本身之尺寸及方位方面的限制及缺點。
亦已知提供一介入頭部與消音器之間的套筒,氧氣感測器固定於套筒上。此解決方案有一些缺點。事實上,一方面感測器係從頭部移開且因此感測器之加熱時間延長,及另一方面套筒係藉由一每次拆卸皆必須更換之墊片而固定至頭部。結果,保養時間及成本增加。
因此,認為需要解決上述關於先前技藝之缺點及限制。
此目的係藉一如申請專利範圍第1項所述之摩托車引擎達成。
參考前述圖式,參考數字4總括地指示依據本發明之一摩托車引擎的一總體概略視圖。
為了實施本發明,應注意與引擎型式無關:因此為2或4衝程奧圖(Otto)或狄塞爾(Disel)循環之任何迴轉型(汪克爾(Wankel))內燃機引擎而與缸容量、及/或汽缸/活塞數、及/或燃料型式無關。亦具體指明術語「上游」或「下游」係指從引擎排出之廢氣通過排氣系統的正常流動方向。
引擎4依其一般類型包括一頭部8,頭部典型地界定一燃燒室且設有至少一排氣管12。排氣管12典型地、但非僅能為一圓柱形、圓形剖面管,其將從燃燒室輸出之廢氣輸送至一排氣系統16。
排氣系統16包括一套筒20及一消音器24,套筒與排氣管12以流體式連結,套筒由排氣管12接收到從燃燒室輸出之廢氣流,消音器24係以流體式連接至套筒20。
套筒20收容一用於預處理廢氣流之預觸媒72,且消音器24接著又設有一用於處理廢氣及減少特別地為碳氫化合物(HC)與氮氧化物(NOx)之污染排放的觸媒76。佈置於套筒20中之預觸媒容許較輕易地保養及更換排氣系統16。此外,這容許較輕易地依據摩托車所使用之引擎來客製化預觸媒。
套筒20係從排氣管12處之一近端28延伸到一遠端36,近端至少部份地收容於一座部32內且座部32形成於頭部8上,遠端36以流體式連接至消音器24。消音器可接著包括一消聲器。
座部32典型地係一與排氣管12同軸之環形座部。
套筒20係以機械式、較佳地藉由第一固定構件40而連接至頭部8,且同時消音器24係以機械式直接連接至頭部8、或藉由套筒20連接至頭部8、較佳地藉第二固定構件44而連接至頭部8。
第一固定構件40及/或第二固定構件44可包括較佳地佈置於相對外圍凸緣48處之螺釘及/或螺栓。
依據一可能實施例,第一與第二固定構件40、44彼此一致:換言之,相同之固定構件40、44達成套筒20到頭部8、及消音器24到套筒20之扣結。因此,通過彼此對正之孔洞的相同螺栓或螺釘可容許在頭部8、套筒20、與消音器24之間固鎖。套筒20可在裝配期間藉一定位元件51而保持於適當位置,定位元件較佳地藉一螺釘構成,螺釘接合套筒抵靠頭部8而防止套筒在連接消音器24期間離開座部32。
依據一可能實施例,第二固定構件44包括在套筒20之圓柱形部50與消音器24之間至少部份地插入彼此中的一形狀聯結(第5圖)。
頭部8上之座部32處收容廢氣密封構件52。此密封構件可根據製作者之特定需要而呈各種型式。
依據一可能實施例,密封構件52包括一伸縮囊密封件(bellows seal),典型地具有一環圈外型。伸縮囊密封件適合於在裝配後沿軸向壓縮,以維持一壓縮狀態而確保歷經一段時間之密封。舉例來說,伸縮囊密封件可至少部份地由石墨製成。
亦可能使密封構件52包括一銅墊片。典型地,銅墊片係沿軸向壓縮之一環圈墊片。此型墊片因裝配壓縮導致在正常下不可重複使用,墊片經受一軸向降伏強度現象(axial yield strength phenomenon)而具有相對塑性變形以確保氣密密封。
套筒20較佳地包括一感測器56來量測流通過感測器之廢氣中含氧量。較佳地,感測器56佈置於預觸媒72上游。
依據一可能實施例,用於量測含氧量之感測器56係關於套筒20沿徑向配置。徑向配置可依據需要、及可用之尺寸而變化。套筒內之沿徑向方向深度或穿入係為容許廢氣流入套筒中而完全圍繞感測器56,以容許感測器輕易地量測到存在於流動中之氧氣量。
依據一可能實施例變形,套筒20包括一供氣管60,用於將空氣噴射至廢氣流中。
較佳地,供氣管60設有一進氣閥64,進氣閥64容許/禁止空氣流通行。
舉例來說,進氣閥64係一層片閥(lamellar valve)。
供氣管60係以流體式連接至引擎4之一空氣過濾器68。較佳地,在具有供氣管之實施例中,預觸媒72置於套筒20上之供氣管60下游。
現在將說明依據本發明之引擎的操作、且特別地依據本發明之引擎排氣系統的裝配/拆卸。
特別地,在操作條件下,燃燒室中產生之廢氣係經由排氣管12排空。由此,廢氣流入套筒20中,廢氣在此處圍繞感測器56,感測器量測到存在於廢氣中之含氧量。基於感測器56定位在頭部8附近,因套筒20之近端28穿插於頭部之座部32中,感測器非常快速地到達正確的操作溫度。倘設置供氣管60,亦可能較佳地透過相對之進氣閥64來供應一額外空氣流至套筒20中,以獲得一後燃廢氣。
在必須拆卸車輪及/或消音器24之情況下,可能僅拆卸第二固定構件44來移除消音器24,而無需拆卸套筒20、及連接至套筒之組件。這容許保護密封件52,特別地當密封件係由銅製成時。
在第二與第一固定構件44、40一致之情況下,消音器24及套筒20二者可從頭部8拆卸。在此情形下,採用較佳地一伸縮囊密封件52、較佳地石墨,其可再使用而無需在重裝配排放系統16時更換。
在一速克達上為輪胎更新所進行之後輪拆卸操作期間,通常需要移除消音器。在一整體型消音器(亦即設想歧管與消聲器為單一件),為拆卸消音器必須移除關係到排氣歧管連附至套筒20/汽缸頭之固定構件44。在以流體式連結排氣管之套筒20上有密封構件52,倘使用扣接構件40及44一致之套筒的一固鎖系統,則密封構件可被消音器的拆卸所影響。相異地,當固定構件40、44彼此不同時,密封構件52將不被消音器的拆卸操作所影響。
如可由說明中理解者,本發明可能克服上述先前技藝之不利因素。
特別地,本發明容許更有效地讀取內燃機引擎(特別地適用於摩托車引擎)中廢氣流內含氧量。事實上,λ探針(lambda probe)、或含氧量讀取器佈置於直接連接至引擎頭部之套筒上。如此,探針特別靠近熱源:這將因探針或讀取器必須為了正確作用儘可能快速地達到一最小操作溫度而有利。探針在套筒上之定位容許尤其在一冷發動機下在最短的可能時間中達成最小工作溫度,且因此達成探針本身之較佳操作。
有利地,可能依需求而以相同於頭部之材料、或相同於消音器之材料來製作套筒。
基於本發明,可能非常輕易地且經濟地拆卸/重裝配一摩托車、典型地一速克達之後輪。事實上,可能從套筒分離消音器而無需拆卸套筒、及連接至套筒之探針。除此以外,避免從頭部拆卸套筒亦避免需更換譬如無法重複使用之相對密封墊片。
除此以外,關於感測器裝設於引擎頭部上之解決方案,可譬如為了尺寸及讀取而輕易地改變感測器之方位。
除此以外,套筒亦容許安裝一供氣管,連接於一空氣過濾器上游,使得空氣可引進廢氣流中,以施行一後燃,且符合歐洲五(EURO 5)型抗污染規定之要求。再次,在譬如為更換車輪而拆卸消音器的情況下,無須拆卸歧管、以及譬如λ探針及/或供氣管之所有連接至歧管之元件。
再者,基於近端至少部份地收容在製於頭部上之一座部內的事實,可能縮短套筒之總懸臂長度:如此,可能關於先前解決方案,預期消音器之曲率將隨摩托車尺寸、及/或特定技術、及/或美學需要而改變。

Claims (15)

  1. 一種摩托車引擎(4),包括: 一頭部(8),配備有至少一排氣管(12); 一排氣系統(16),包括以流體式連結該排氣管(12)之一套筒(20)、以及以流體式連接至該套筒(20)之一消音器(24); 其中該套筒(20)係以機械式連接至該頭部(8),且該消音器(24)係以機械式直接地或藉由該套筒(20)連接至該頭部(8), 其中該套筒(20)收容用於一預處理廢氣流之一預觸媒(72),且其中該消音器(24)設有一觸媒(76)。
  2. 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之摩托車引擎(4),其中該套筒(20)係藉第一混合構件(40)而以機械式連接至該頭部(8)。
  3. 如申請專利範圍第1項或第2項所述之摩托車引擎(4),其中該消音器(24)係藉第二固定構件(44)而以機械式連接至該頭部(8)及/或套筒(20)。
  4. 如申請專利範圍第1項到第3項中任一項所述之摩托車引擎(4),更包括廢氣密封構件(52),較佳地該密封構件(52)包括一伸縮囊密封件,更佳地該伸縮囊密封件至少部份地由石墨製成。
  5. 如申請專利範圍第1項到第4項中任一項所述之摩托車引擎(4),其中該密封構件(52)包括一銅墊片。
  6. 如申請專利範圍第1項到第5項中任一項所述之摩托車引擎(4),其中該套筒(20)包括一感測器(56),用於量測流通過該感測器(56)之廢氣中含氧量。
  7. 如申請專利範圍第6項所述之摩托車引擎(4),其中用於量測含氧量之該感測器(56)係關於該套筒(20)沿徑向佈置、較佳地定位於該預觸媒(72)上游。
  8. 如申請專利範圍第1項到第7項中任一項所述之摩托車引擎(4),其中該套筒(20)包括一用於將空氣噴射至廢氣流中之一供氣管(60),該供氣管(60)較佳地定位於該預觸媒(72)上游。
  9. 如申請專利範圍第8項所述之摩托車引擎(4),其中該供氣管(60)設有一容許/禁止空氣流通行之一進氣閥(64)。
  10. 如申請專利範圍第9項所述之摩托車引擎(4),其中該進氣閥(64)係一簧片閥。
  11. 如申請專利範圍第8項至第10項中任一項所述之摩托車引擎(4),其中該供氣管(60)係以流體式連接至該引擎(4)之一空氣過濾器(68)。
  12. 如申請專利範圍第1項到第11項中任一項所述之摩托車引擎(4),其中該套筒(20)係從至少部份地收容於該頭部(8)內之一座部(32)內的一近端(28)延伸到一連接至該消音器(24)之一遠端(36)。
  13. 如申請專利範圍第1項到第12項中任一項所述之摩托車引擎(4),其中該第一固定構件(40)及/或該第二固定構件(44)包括對應地佈置於複數個相對外圍凸緣(48、49)中之複數個螺釘及/或螺栓。
  14. 如申請專利範圍第1項到第13項中任一項所述之摩托車引擎(4),其中該第一與第二固定構件(40、44)彼此一致。
  15. 如申請專利範圍第1項到第14項中任一項所述之摩托車引擎(4),其中該第二固定構件(44)包括在該套筒(20)之圓柱形部(50)與該消音器(14)之間至少部份地插入彼此中的一形狀聯結。
