Abstract
本發明係一種利用二組夾持片兼顧夾持力及降低阻抗不連續影響之電纜連接器,包括一絕緣座體、一外殼、一訊號端子及二接地端子,該絕緣座體之頂部係凹設有一容納空間,該外殼則能裝設至該絕緣座體上,且其上之一貫穿孔係能對應至該容納空間;該訊號端子及接地端子係分別嵌設於該絕緣座體之底部,其頂部能分別夾持住伸入至容納空間內之同軸纜線,其底部則能分別被焊接至一電路板上之訊號接點及接地接點,該等接地端子之其中一支係鄰近於該訊號端子,以降低阻抗不連續之影響,其另一支則遠離該訊號端子,以對同軸纜線提供額外的夾持力。
Description
本發明係一種利用二組夾持片兼顧夾持力及降低阻抗不連續影響之電纜連接器,尤指具有一訊號端子及二接地端子,分別夾持住同軸纜線,且其中一支接地端子係鄰近於訊號端子,以降低阻抗不連續之負面影響,另一支接地端子則遠離該訊號端子,以提供較強之夾持力,進而兼顧電纜連接器之性能與耐用度之結構。
按,訊號連接器(Connector)泛指應用在電子訊號及電源上的連接元件及其附屬配件,是所有訊號的橋樑,其品質會對電流與訊號傳輸的可靠度產生影響,且亦與電子系統運作息息相關。隨著電子技術的日益發達,目前訊號連接器根據其應用領域、傳輸信號類型、尺寸、使用方式等差異,被分類有不同的規格與型號,但無論是何種規格或型號,「傳輸穩定性」及「耐用度」都是業者在設計上不可忽略的主要訴求。
茲以用於連接同軸纜線之「電纜連接器」為例,說明如後,同軸纜線(Coaxial cable)大多以單芯之裸銅線、多芯銅絞線、銅包鋼線或鍍錫之銅線…等,作為中心之導線(Conductor),再由內而外以複數層環狀之材料包圍而成,其中,該導線之外被覆有一絕緣層(Insulation),該絕緣層之外被覆有一編織層(Copper Braid Shield),該編織層大多為銅線或鋁 線…等金屬線網製成,最後,該編織層之外被覆有一外皮層(Jacket),該外皮層係由絕緣之塑膠材質製成,如此,由於該同軸纜線之斷面為同心圓,其構造在電磁訊號傳輸上具有屏蔽作用,使得其較不易受外界雜訊干擾,而常用於傳送影音、網路等高頻率之訊號。
請參閱第1圖所示,一般言,電纜連接器係透過內部之一訊號端子11及一接地端子12(第1圖中係省略了電纜連接器之殼體等結構),夾持住同軸纜線10,該訊號端子11係夾持住該同軸纜線10一端,且能割破裸露之絕緣層101,與內部之導線電氣連接,該接地端子12則能割破該同軸纜線10之外皮層102,而與該編織層相電氣連接。就同軸纜線10之理想特性而言,其上傳輸的電磁場分佈應為均勻的,只有在傳輸到其他介面時才會因阻抗不同而產生波動,意即,由於「同軸纜線10、訊號端子11(或接地端子12)、電路板13」三者具有阻抗上的差異,故在三者間的銜接部位上,電磁場才會產生變化,此一變化即代表訊號傳輸上的不穩定,因此,為了盡可能降低阻抗不匹配造成的負面影響,該訊號端子11與接地端子12間的距離110應越短越好。
然而,由於同軸纜線10上編織層的結構強度相對較弱,因此,若欲縮短該訊號端子11與接地端子12間的距離110,則該接地端子12勢必會夾持在編織層上鄰近邊緣的部位,如此一來,該接地端子12與編織層間的夾持強度將會不足,意即,當該同軸纜線10受到外力拉扯時,該編織層很容易會撕裂,導致同軸纜線10之鬆動。
然而,若拉長該訊號端子11與接地端子12間的距離110,使該接地端子12夾持在該編織層上較為中段、結構較緻密的部位,則該訊號 端子11及接地端子12之間,將會有電磁場來回反射,導致阻抗不匹配、不連續的負面影響越加劇烈。基於前述狀況,業者在設計電纜連接器時,將必須在「傳輸穩定性」(即,縮短該訊號端子11與接地端子12間的距離110)及「耐用度」(即,拉長該訊號端子11與接地端子12間的距離110)之間做出取捨,而無法兼顧兩者特性,因此,如何對電纜連接器之結構進行改良,以解決習知技術中的兩難課題,即成為本發明在此亟欲解決的重要問題。
有鑑於習知電纜連接器之接地端子與訊號端子的間隔距離,會同時影響到「阻抗不連續之負面影響」及「對於同軸纜線之夾持力大小」,致使在設計上必須取捨的問題,發明人憑藉著多年來的實務經驗,經過多次的研究與測試後,終於設計出本發明之一種利用二組夾持片兼顧夾持力及降低阻抗不連續影響之電纜連接器,期能有效解決習知技術之缺憾。
本發明之一目的,係提供一種利用二組夾持片兼顧夾持力及降低阻抗不連續影響之電纜連接器,包括一絕緣座體、一外殼、一訊號端子、一第一接地端子及一第二接地端子,該絕緣座體之頂部向下凹設有一容納空間,該容納空間係與該絕緣座體之前後兩端相連通,又,該絕緣座體之底面開設有一第一組裝槽、一第二組裝槽及一第三組裝槽,該等組裝槽彼此相隔一間距,且與該容納空間相連通;該外殼之底部向上凹設有一凹槽,該外殼之一端則設有一貫穿孔,在該外殼與該絕緣座體相組裝的狀態下,該絕緣座體會嵌入至該凹槽中,並使該貫穿孔對應於該容納空間;該貫穿孔及容納空間之構形係與一同軸纜線相匹配,該同軸纜線由內而外 依序包括一導線、一絕緣層、一編織層及一外皮層,該同軸纜線之一端能由該貫穿孔伸入該容納空間中,且該同軸纜線鄰近一端的外皮層會抵靠至該貫穿孔的內壁;該訊號端子係嵌設於該第一組裝槽中,使該訊號端子之頂部能露出於該容納空間中,其底部則能延伸至該絕緣座體外,以被焊接至一電路板上之一訊號接點;該訊號端子之頂部設有一夾持縫,在該同軸纜線插入至該容納空間的情況下,該同軸纜線之一端之導線能嵌入該夾持縫中,以與該訊號端子相電氣連接;該第一接地端子係嵌設於該第二組裝槽中,使該第一接地端子之頂部能露出於該容納空間中,其底部則能延伸至該絕緣座體外,以被焊接至該電路板上之一接地接點;該第一接地端子之頂部延伸設有二第一夾持片,該等第一夾持片間具有一第一夾持間距,該第一夾持間距係小於或等於該同軸纜線上編織層的外徑,以能夾持住該編織層上鄰近於該同軸纜線一端的部位,該等第一夾持片與該訊號端子間具有一第一間隔距離;該第二接地端子係嵌設於該第三組裝槽中,使該第二接地端子之頂部能露出於該容納空間中,其底部則能延伸至該絕緣座體外,以被焊接至該電路板上之該接地接點;該第二接地端子之頂部延伸設有二第二夾持片,該等第二夾持片間具有一第二夾持間距,該第二夾持間距亦小於或等於該同軸纜線上編織層的外徑,以能夾持住該編織層,該等第二夾持片與該等第一夾持片間具有一第二間隔距離,該第二間隔距離係大於該第一間隔距離。據此,由於該第一接地端子鄰近於該訊號端子,故能縮減阻抗不連續部位的間隔,而第二接地端子則能提供額外的夾持力,確保能固定住該同軸纜線。

本發明係一種利用二組夾持片兼顧夾持力及降低阻抗不連續影響之電纜連接器,請參閱第2圖所示,係本發明之第一較佳實施例,該電纜連接器2係供連接一電路板P及一同軸纜線20,其中,該同軸纜線20由內而外依序包括一導線201、一絕緣層202、一編織層203及一外皮層204,且該同軸纜線20之一端係裸露出該絕緣層202。為方便說明,係以第2圖之「左上方」作為電纜連接器2之「後方」,第2圖之「右下方」作為電纜連接器2之「前方」。
請參閱第2~3圖所示,該電纜連接器2包括一絕緣座體21、一外殼22、一訊號端子23、一第一接地端子24及一第二接地端子25,該絕緣座體21之頂部向下凹設有一容納空間210,該容納空間210係與該絕緣座體21之前後兩端相連通,又,該絕緣座體21之底面開設有一第一組裝槽211、一第二組裝槽212及一第三組裝槽213,該等組裝槽211~213彼此相隔一間距,且與該容納空間210相連通。
該外殼22之底部向上凹設有一凹槽220,該外殼22之一端 (即,電纜連接器2之前端)則設有一貫穿孔221,在該外殼22與該絕緣座體21相組裝的狀態下,該絕緣座體21會嵌入至該凹槽220中,並使該貫穿孔221對應於該容納空間210;該貫穿孔221及容納空間210之構形係與該同軸纜線20相匹配,該同軸纜線20之一端能由該貫穿孔221伸入該容納空間210中,且該同軸纜線20鄰近一端的外皮層204會抵靠至該貫穿孔221的內壁。
該訊號端子23係嵌設於該第一組裝槽211中,使該訊號端子23之頂部能露出於該容納空間210中,其底部則能延伸至該絕緣座體21外,以被焊接至一電路板P上之一訊號接點P1;該訊號端子23之頂部設有一夾持縫231,在該同軸纜線20插入至該容納空間210的情況下,該同軸纜線20之一端之導線能嵌入該夾持縫231中,以與該訊號端子23相電氣連接。
該第一接地端子24係嵌設於該第二組裝槽212中,使該第一接地端子24之頂部能露出於該容納空間210中,其底部則能延伸至該絕緣座體21外,以被焊接至該電路板P上之一接地接點P2;該第一接地端子24之頂部延伸設有二第一夾持片241,該等第一夾持片241間具有一第一夾持間距,該第一夾持間距係小於或等於該同軸纜線20上編織層203的外徑,以能夾持住該編織層203上鄰近於該導線201的部位,該等第一夾持片241與該訊號端子23間具有一第一間隔距離D1。
該第二接地端子25係嵌設於該第三組裝槽213中,使該第二接地端子25之頂部能露出於該容納空間210中,其底部則能延伸至該絕緣座體21外,以被焊接至該電路板P上之該接地接點P2;該第二接地端子25之頂部延伸設有二第二夾持片251,該等第二夾持片251間具有一第二夾持間距,該第二夾持間距亦小於或等於該同軸纜線20上編織層203的外徑,以能 夾持住該編織層203,該等第二夾持片251與該等第一夾持片241間具有一第二間隔距離D2,該第二間隔距離D2係大於該第一間隔距離D1。
如此,由於該第一接地端子24及第二接地端子25之底部係被焊接至該電路板P上的同一接地接點P2上,因此,對於該同軸纜線20或電路板P而言,「訊號端」及「接地端」等兩個阻抗不連續的位置,其相隔距離仍為該第一接地端子24及訊號端子23間的第一間隔距離D1(或該訊號接點P1與接地接點P2之間距),因而能將阻抗不連續的部位間隔降至最低,確保訊號傳輸的穩定;而該第二接地端子25則位於該同軸纜線20上相對中段部的部位,以夾持該同軸纜線20上結構較緻密的編織層,提供穩固的夾持力,且由於該第一接地端子24及第二接地端子25之底部係被焊接至該電路板P上的同一接地接點P2上,故,該第二接地端子25的設置並不會讓電磁波在訊號端子23及第二接地端子25之間不斷反射,因而不會造成額外的阻抗負面影響。
據此,透過二支接地端子24、25夾持於同軸纜線20上之不同部位,但其底部能被焊接至同一接地接點P2的設計,即能簡單卻有效地解決了習知技術中,接地端子的位置設計難題。而為了兼顧電纜連接器2與電路板P的體積精簡,在本實施例中,該第二間隔距離D2與第一間隔距離D1之長度比為2~3:1之間。
復請參閱第2~3圖所示,各該接地端子24、25之構型係呈L形,該第一接地端子24之底部設有一第一焊接板242,該第一焊接板242係朝該第二接地端子25之方向延伸;該第二接地端子25之底部設有一第二焊接板252,該第二焊接板252係朝該第一接地端子24之方向延伸。
另,在此詳細說明該電纜連接器2與同軸纜線20之組裝方式如後:該絕緣座體21之左右兩側尚分別凸設有一第一嵌卡部214,該外殼22上對應於該凹槽220之內壁面上則設有二第二嵌卡部222,在該外殼22定位至該絕緣座體21之上方時,該等第二嵌卡部222之底端能抵靠在該等第一嵌卡部214之頂端,此時,該絕緣座體21僅局部嵌入於該凹槽220,組裝人員能把同軸纜線20穿過該貫穿孔221,以伸入至凹槽220內。
嗣,按壓該外殼22,使該等第二嵌卡部222因形變而越過該等第一嵌卡部214之頂端,進而相互卡合,此時,該絕緣座體21始完全嵌入於該凹槽220,且該訊號端子23能割破該同軸纜線20上之絕緣層202,而與該導線201相電氣連接,該等接地端子24、25則能分別割破該同軸纜線20上之外皮層204,而與該編織層203相電氣連接。
又,在本實施例中,該電纜連接器2尚包括一補強元件26,該補強元件26係由金屬材質構成之一板體,且能嵌設於該外殼22上鄰近該貫穿孔221之位置(如:該外殼22以射出成型的方式,與該補強元件26結合成一體),該補強元件26能增強該外殼22的結構強度,以在該同軸纜線20受到外力拉扯時,該外殼22能藉由該補強元件26,抵抗較高強度之拉力,而不易破裂。
在前述實施例中,係透過兩支接地端子24、25,分別實現「降低阻抗不連續之負面影響」、「提昇夾持力」等功效,但該等接地端子24、25亦可結合成一體,或者,業者亦可配置複數支接地端子(但該等接地端子仍係焊接至同一接地接點上),以進一步強化夾持強度。請參閱第4圖所示,係本發明之第二較佳實施例,該電纜連接器2僅具備一支接地端子24’, 該接地端子24’係嵌設於該絕緣座體21之底部,其頂部延伸設有二第一夾持片241’及二第二夾持片251’,該等第一夾持片241’及二第二夾持片251’能分別穿過該第二組裝槽212及第三組裝槽213,以露出於該容納空間210中,該接地端子24’之底部則能延伸至該絕緣座體21外,以被焊接至該電路板P上之一接地接點P2。
該等第一夾持片241’及該等第二夾持片251’間分別具有一夾持間距,各該夾持間距係小於或等於該同軸纜線20上編織層203的外徑,以在該同軸纜線20伸入至該容納空間210內的情況下,該等第一夾持片241’能割破外皮層204,夾持住該編織層203上鄰近於該同軸纜線20一端的部位,該等第一夾持片241’與該訊號端子23間具有一第一間隔距離;該等第二夾持片251’亦能割破外皮層204,夾持住該編織層203,且該等第二夾持片251’與該等第一夾持片241’間具有一第二間隔距離,該第二間隔距離係大於該第一間隔距離。據此,由於該等第一夾持片241’及該等第二夾持片251’係統一由該接地端子24’之底部,焊接至該電路板P上之接地接點P2,故,亦能以相同原理,分別實現「降低阻抗不連續之負面影響」、「提昇夾持力」之目的。
以上所述,僅係本發明之較佳實施例,惟,本發明所主張之技術特徵,並不侷限於此,按凡熟悉該項技藝人士,依據本發明所揭露之技術內容,可輕易思及之等效變化,均應屬不脫離本發明之保護範疇。
Claims (7)
- 一種利用二組夾持片兼顧夾持力及降低阻抗不連續影響之電纜連接器,包括:一絕緣座體,其頂部向下凹設有一容納空間,該容納空間係與該絕緣座體之前後兩端相連通,又,該絕緣座體之底面開設有一第一組裝槽、一第二組裝槽及一第三組裝槽,該等組裝槽彼此相隔一間距,且與該容納空間相連通;一外殼,其底部向上凹設有一凹槽,該外殼之一端則設有一貫穿孔,在該外殼與該絕緣座體相組裝的狀態下,該絕緣座體會嵌入至該凹槽中,並使該貫穿孔對應於該容納空間;該貫穿孔及容納空間之構形係與一同軸纜線相匹配,該同軸纜線由內而外依序包括一導線、一絕緣層、一編織層及一外皮層,該同軸纜線之一端能由該貫穿孔伸入該容納空間中,且該同軸纜線鄰近一端的外皮層會抵靠至該貫穿孔的內壁;一訊號端子,係嵌設於該第一組裝槽中,使該訊號端子之頂部能露出於該容納空間中,其底部則能延伸至該絕緣座體外,以被焊接至一電路板上之一訊號接點;該訊號端子之頂部設有一夾持縫,在該同軸纜線插入至該容納空間的情況下,該同軸纜線之一端之導線能嵌入該夾持縫中,以與該訊號端子相電氣連接;一第一接地端子,係嵌設於該第二組裝槽中,使該第一接地端子之頂部能露出於該容納空間中,其底部則能延伸至該絕緣座體外,以被焊接至該電路板上之一接地接點;該第一接地端子之頂部延伸設有二第一夾持片,該等第一夾持片間具有一第一夾持間距,該第一夾持間距係小於或等於該同軸纜線上編織層的外徑,以能夾持住該編織層上鄰近於該同軸纜線一端的部位,該等第一夾持片與該訊號端子間具有一第一間隔距 離;及一第二接地端子,係嵌設於該第三組裝槽中,使該第二接地端子之頂部能露出於該容納空間中,其底部則能延伸至該絕緣座體外,以被焊接至該電路板上之該接地接點;該第二接地端子之頂部延伸設有二第二夾持片,該等第二夾持片間具有一第二夾持間距,該第二夾持間距亦小於或等於該同軸纜線上編織層的外徑,以能夾持住該編織層,該等第二夾持片與該等第一夾持片間具有一第二間隔距離,該第二間隔距離係大於該第一間隔距離。
- 如請求項1所述之電纜連接器,其中,該第二間隔距離與第一間隔距離之長度比為2~3:1。
- 如請求項2所述之電纜連接器,其中,該第一接地端子之底部設有一第一焊接板,該第一焊接板係朝該第二接地端子之方向延伸;該第二接地端子之底部設有一第二焊接板,該第二焊接板係朝該第一接地端子之方向延伸。
- 如請求項3所述之電纜連接器,其中,該電纜連接器尚包括一補強元件,該補強元件係嵌設於該外殼上鄰近該貫穿孔之位置。
- 一種利用二組夾持片兼顧夾持力及降低阻抗不連續影響之電纜連接器,包括:一絕緣座體,其頂部向下凹設有一容納空間,該容納空間係與該絕緣座體之前後兩端相連通,又,該絕緣座體之底面開設有一第一組裝槽、一第二組裝槽及一第三組裝槽,該等組裝槽彼此相隔一間距,且與該容納空間相連通;一外殼,其底部向上凹設有一凹槽,該外殼之一端則設有一貫穿孔,在該外殼與該絕緣座體相組裝的狀態下,該絕緣座體會嵌入至該凹槽中, 並使該貫穿孔對應於該容納空間;該貫穿孔及容納空間之構形係與一同軸纜線相匹配,該同軸纜線由內而外依序包括一導線、一絕緣層、一編織層及一外皮層,該同軸纜線之一端能由該貫穿孔伸入該容納空間中,且該同軸纜線鄰近一端的外皮層會抵靠至該貫穿孔的內壁;一訊號端子,係嵌設於該第一組裝槽中,使該訊號端子之頂部能露出於該容納空間中,其底部則能延伸至該絕緣座體外,以被焊接至一電路板上之一訊號接點;該訊號端子之頂部設有一夾持縫,在該同軸纜線插入至該容納空間的情況下,該同軸纜線之一端導線能嵌入該夾持縫中,以與該訊號端子相電氣連接;及一接地端子,係嵌設於該絕緣座體之底部,其頂部延伸設有二第一夾持片及二第二夾持片,該等第一夾持片及二第二夾持片能分別穿過該第二組裝槽及第三組裝槽,以露出於該容納空間中,該接地端子之底部則能延伸至該絕緣座體外,以被焊接至該電路板上之一接地接點;該等第一夾持片及該等第二夾持片間分別具有一夾持間距,各該夾持間距係小於或等於該同軸纜線上編織層的外徑,該等第一夾持片能夾持住該編織層上鄰近於該同軸纜線一端的部位,該等第一夾持片與該訊號端子間具有一第一間隔距離;該等第二夾持片亦能夾持住該編織層,且該等第二夾持片與該等第一夾持片間具有一第二間隔距離,該第二間隔距離係大於該第一間隔距離。
- 如請求項5所述之電纜連接器,其中,該第二間隔距離與第一間隔距離之長度比為2~3:1。
- 如請求項6所述之電纜連接器,其中,該電纜連接器尚包括一補強元件,該補強元件係嵌設於該外殼上鄰近該貫穿孔之位置。
