Abstract

Description

上邢連結傳輸的無線傳輸/接收單元及方法
本發明與無線通信系統有關,其中,無線通信系統具有無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)及B節點。特別是,本發明與報告強化上鏈(EU)流量量測(TVM)資訊以在具有受限容量的傳訊頻道上支援WTRU及B節點間的EU資料傳輸有關。
目前,在無線通信系統(諸如:FDD系統)中,強化上鏈(UL)覆蓋區域、處理能力、傳輸延遲之方法可以參見於第三代合作計畫(3GPP)第六版(R6)之研究。作為排程及指派無線網路控制器(RNC)之上鏈實體頻道之替代方案,可以採用B節點(亦即:BS)控制器,藉此,可以形成更有效率的決策,且,可以比RNC更好地短期管理上鏈無線資源,亦即,使RNC可以保留無線通信系統的整體控制。在通用行動電信系統(UMTS)之FDD模式及分時雙工(TDD)模式中,類似手段已於高速資料封包存取(HSDPA)第五版(R5)的下鏈中被採用。
為了使B節點可以進行有效率之分配決策、並可以排列不同優先順序信號流間之優先順序,B節點必須追蹤流量量測(TVM)以及關聯優先順序。然而,習知UL信號發送方法僅具有受限容量,且因此,無法提供 TVM的報告以及關聯優先順序。

另外,在本發明的發明說明中,術語"B節點"可以包括、但不限於基地台(BS)、站點控制器、存取點(AP)、或無線環境中的任何其他類型介面裝置。
另外,本發明可以應用於分時雙工(TDD)、分頻雙工(FDD)、及分時同步分碼多重存取(TD-SCDMA),其常可以應用於通用行動電信系統(UMTS)、分碼多重存取2000(CDMA 2000)、及分碼多重存取(CDMA)、且亦可以應用於其他無線系統。
本發明的特徵可以結合於積體電路(IC)、或可以配置為具有複數個互連元件的電路。
第1圖表示根據本發明進行操作的無線通信系統100。無線通信系統100可以具有WTRU 105及B節點110,其中,WTRU 105及B節點110可以經由無線信號115彼此通信。WTRU 105可以具有至少單一緩衝器120。
第2圖是當第一EU資料排程訊息允許的EU資料傳輸不足以傳輸WTRU 105緩衝器120中儲存的全部EU資料時的無線通信系統100的信號流示意圖。EU資料205在WTRU 105處產生、並可以儲存於WTRU 105的緩衝器120中。當緩衝器120的EU資料量超過建立的EU資料緩衝器臨界值,WTRU 105可以經由EU傳訊頻道傳送啟始TVM資訊要求訊息210至B節點110。由於EU傳訊頻道的受限負載容量,啟始TVM資訊要求訊息210可能無法具有詳細的TVM資訊。啟始TVM資訊要求訊息210可能僅表明WTRU 105已經具有準備要傳送的EU資料、及/或藉由包括近似EU資訊量以充當至B節點110的速率請求。
仍然參考第2圖,在收到啟始TVM資訊要求訊息210後,B節點110可以經由第一EU資料排程訊息215以排程WTRU 105及B節點110間的一個或多個EU傳輸。回應於接收到第一EU資料排程訊息215,WTRU 105可以傳送一個或多個EU資料傳輸220至第一EU資料排程訊息215允許的B節點110。若B節點排程的EU資料傳輸不足以傳輸WTRU 105中緩衝的EU資料,WTRU 105傳輸EU資料傳輸220,EU資料傳輸220包括表明WTRU 105中緩衝的近似資料量的詳細TVM資訊。可選地,詳細TVM資訊可以表明與各個關聯流量優先順序等級關聯的緩衝資料量或映射至EU專用頻道(EU-DCH)的邏輯頻道。詳細TVM資訊可以用EU資料於第二層(layer 2)或第三層(layer 3)進行多工。在第二層(layer 2)中,詳細TVM資訊可以在EU-DCHMAC標頭中被識別,且,在第三層(layer 3)中,詳細TVM資訊可以在無線資源控制(RRC)或其他等效第三層傳訊實體內進行信號發送。EU資料傳輸220可以包括數個獨立實體傳輸。
在後續上鏈排程中,B節點110可以利用TVM之理解知識及經由EU資料傳輸220報告的潛在關聯優先順序及/或邏輯頻道。當WTRU 105 隨後取得額外EU資料後,WTRU 105可以選擇向B節點110報告更新的TVM資訊。B節點110接著經由後續EU資料排程訊息225a-225n來排程從WTRU 105至B節點110的後續EU資料傳輸。
第3圖是當EU資料排程訊息允許的一個或多個EU資料傳輸足以傳輸WTRU 105的緩衝器120中儲存的全部EU資料時的無線通信系統100信號流示意圖。EU資料305在WTRU 105處產生、並儲存於WTRU 105的緩衝器120中。當緩衝器120的EU資料量超過建立的EU資料緩衝器臨界值,WTRU 105可以經由EU傳訊頻道以傳送啟始TVM資訊要求訊息310至B節點110。
當未超過建立的EU資料緩衝器臨界值時,WTRU 105傳送的EU資料傳輸並不需要由B節點排程。
仍然參考第3圖,在收到啟始TVM資訊要求訊息310後,B節點110可以經由EU資料排程訊息315以排程WTRU 105及B節點110間的一個或複數個EU資料傳輸320。回應於接收到EU資料排程訊息315,WTRU 105可以傳送EU資料排程訊息315允許的一個或多個EU資料傳輸320。若EU資料排程訊息315允許的EU資料傳輸320足以傳輸WTRU 105緩衝的全部EU資料,WTRU 105的緩衝器120的全部EU資料可以傳送至B節點。另外,因為WTRU 105知道沒有額外EU資料要傳送至B節點110,可以省略額外TVM報告。
與優先順序等級或邏輯頻道關聯的資料/與TVM關聯的MAC-d信號流可以儲存於B節點110,以做出更精確的頻道分配及更有效率的無線資源利用。由於WTRU 105提供額外TVM細節,B節點110利用TVM及關聯的優先順序,以建立較高精確度的後續EU資料排程。
第4圖是根據本發明的處理流程圖400,處理包括用於從 WTRU 105傳輸使用者資料至B節點110的方法步驟。在步驟405中,產生EU資料、並儲存於WTRU 120的緩衝器120中。在可選的步驟410中,確定於WTRU 120緩衝器120中儲存的EU資料量是否超過建立的EU資料緩衝器臨界值。當WTRU 120的緩衝器120中儲存的EU資料量未超過建立的EU資料緩衝器臨界值時,允許EU資料傳輸而不需B節點排程,且,將所有儲存的EU資料傳輸至B節點(步驟430)。當WTRU 120的緩衝器120中儲存的EU資料量超過建立的EU資料緩衝器臨界值時,WTRU 105傳送啟始TVM資訊要求訊息至B節點110,表明WTRU 105具有要傳送至B節點110的EU資料(步驟415)。
應該注意的是,建立的EU資料緩衝器臨界值可以設定為零。在這種情況下,WTRU 105的緩衝器120無論儲存任何EU資料量將永遠可以觸發啟始TVM資訊要求訊息210的傳輸。
仍然參考第4圖,在步驟420中,B節點110傳送包括關於一個或多個允許EU資料傳輸的資訊的EU資料排程訊息至WTRU 105,以排程WTRU 105中緩衝的EU資料傳輸至B節點110。在步驟425中,WTRU 105可以確定允許的EU資料傳輸是否足以傳輸全部的緩衝EU資料。若目前排程資訊允許的EU資料傳輸足以支援緩衝器120中儲存的全部EU資料,則WTRU 105中緩衝的全部EU資料可以在允許的EU資料傳輸期間,直接傳輸至B節點110(步驟430)。
若目前排程資訊允許的EU資料傳輸不足以支援緩衝器120中儲存的全部EU資料,則WTRU 105傳輸一個或多個EU資料傳輸至B節點110,其中,EU資料傳輸包括以部分的儲存EU資料多工的詳細TVM資訊(步驟435)。在步驟440中,B節點110排程及傳輸一個或多個額外EU資料傳輸,直到WTRU 105不再具有其他緩衝EU資料。

Claims (15)

  1. 由一無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)使用以用於上鏈傳輸的裝置,該裝置包括:傳輸一訊息;接收一排程訊息,該排程訊息表明一上鏈資料傳輸的一許可;以及基於該接收的排程訊息,經由一上鏈頻道傳輸一上鏈資料。
