Description
本發明係有關於無線通信系統,其中,無線通信系統係具有無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)及B節點。特別是,本發明係有關於回報強化上鏈(EU)流量量測(TVM)資訊,藉以在限制能力之信號發送頻道上支援無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)及B節點間之強化上鏈(EU)資料傳輸。
目前,在無線通信系統(諸如:分頻雙工(FDD)系統)中,強化上鏈(UL)覆蓋區域、處理能力、傳輸延遲之方法係可以參見於第三代合作計畫(3GPP)第六版(R6)之研究。作為排程及指派無線網路控制器(RNC)之上鏈物理頻道之替代方案,B節點(亦即:基地台(BS))控制器係可以採用,藉此,更有效率之決策係可以形成,且,上鏈無線資源,更勝於無線網路控制器(RNC),係可以短期性地管理,即使無線網路控制器(RNC)係可以保留無線通信系統之整體控制。在通用行動電信系統(UMTS)之分頻雙工(FDD)模式及分時雙工(TDD)模式中,類似手段係已經採用於高速資料封包存取(HSDPA)第五版(R5)之下行連結。
為了使B節點可以形成更有效率之設置決策、並可以排列不同優先性信號流間之優先性,B節點必須配合關連優先性同時追蹤流量量測(TVM)。然而,習知上鏈(UL)信號發送方法僅具有限制能力,且因此,無法配合關連優先性提供流量量
測(TVM)之回報。
本發明係有關於一種無線通信方法及裝置,這種無線通信方法及裝置係可以回報強化上鏈(EU)流量量測(TVM)資訊以支援無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)(亦即:行動工作站)及B節點間之強化上鏈(EU)資料傳輸。這種裝置係可以製成無線通信系統、無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)、及/或積體電路(IC)。無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)係可以傳輸啟始流量量測(TVM)資訊要求訊息至B節點,藉以表示:無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)已經具有欲轉移至B節點之強化上鏈(EU)資料。因應於啟始流量量測(TVM)資訊要求訊息之接收,B節點係可以傳輸強化上鏈(EU)資料排程訊息至B節點,藉以排程單一或複數之容許強化上鏈(EU)資料傳輸。
無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)係可以轉移緩衝器儲存之全部強化上鏈(EU)資料至B節點,當容許強化上鏈(EU)資料傳輸係足以支援緩衝器儲存之全部強化上鏈(EU)資料傳輸。否則,無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)係可以傳輸利用至少部分強化上鏈(EU)資料進行多工之詳細流量量測(TVM)資訊至B節點。
流量量測(TVM)資訊係可以表示儲存強化上鏈(EU)資料之數量。詳細流量量測(TVM)資訊係可以表示各個流量優先性類型之關連緩衝強化上鏈(EU)資料之數量。詳細流量量測(TVM)資訊係可以於第二層(layer 2)媒體存取控制(MAC)實體進行多工、或、詳細流量量測(TVM)資訊係可以於第三
層(layer 3)無線資源控制(RRC)實體或其他等效之第三層(layer 3)信號發送實體進行多工。
無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)之緩衝器儲存之強化上鏈(EU)資料之轉移程序係可以取決於強化上鏈(EU)資料數量是否超過建立臨界值。啟始流量量測(TVM)資訊要求訊息係可以傳輸至B節點,當儲存之強化上鏈(EU)資料數量超過建立臨界值時。當建立臨界值並未超過,無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)係可以轉移無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)之緩衝器之全部強化上鏈(EU)資料至B節點,而不需要B節點之排程資訊。若建立臨界值設定為零,無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)係可以轉移無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)之緩衝器儲存之強化上鏈(EU)資料至B節點,當收到B節點之排程資訊時。
在本發明之發明說明中,術語”無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)”係可以包括、但不限於使用者設備(UE)、行動工作站、固定或行動用戶單元、傳呼器、或能夠運作於無線環境之任何其他類型裝置。
另外,在本發明之發明說明中,術語”B節點”係可以包括、但不限於基地台(BS)、位置控制器、無線網路基地台(AP)、或無線環境之任何其他類型界面裝置。
另外,本發明係可以應用於分時雙工(TDD)、分頻雙工(FDD)、及分時同步分碼多重存取(TD-SCDMA),其常可以應用於通用行動電信系統(UMTS)、分碼多重存取二千(CDMA 2000)、及分碼多重存取(CDMA)、且亦可以應用於
其他無線系統。
本發明之特徵係可以結合於積體電路(IC)、或可以架構為具有複數互連元件之電路。
第1圖係表示根據本發明運作之無線通信系統100。無線通信系統100係可以具有無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)105及B節點110,其中,無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)105及B節點110係可以經由無線信號115彼此通信。無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)105係可以具有至少單一緩衝器120。
第2圖係表示無線通信系統100之信號流示意圖,當第一強化上鏈(EU)資料排程訊息容許之強化上鏈(EU)資料傳輸並不足以傳輸無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)105之緩衝器120儲存之全部強化上鏈(EU)資料。強化上鏈(EU)資料205係可以產生於無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)105、並可以儲存於無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)105之緩衝器120。當緩衝器120之強化上鏈(EU)資料數量超過建立之強化上鏈(EU)資料緩衝器臨界值,無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)105係可以經由強化上鏈(EU)信號發送頻道,傳送啟始流量量測(TVM)資訊要求訊息210至B節點110。由於強化上鏈(EU)信號發送頻道之限制負載能力,啟始流量量測(TVM)資訊要求訊息210可能無法具有詳細之流量量測(TVM)資訊。啟始流量量測(TVM)資訊要求訊息210可能僅需表示:無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)105已經準備傳送強化上鏈(EU)資料、及/或、啟始流量量測(TVM)資訊要求訊息210可能具有強化上鏈(EU)資訊之數量近似,藉以做為B節點110之速率要求。
接著,請持續參考第2圖,在收到啟始流量量測(TVM)
資訊要求訊息210以後,B節點110係可以經由第一強化上鏈(EU)資料排程訊息215,藉以排程無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)105及B節點110間之單一或複數強化上鏈(EU)傳輸。基於第一強化上鏈(EU)資料排程訊息215之接收,無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)105係可以傳送單一或複數強化上鏈(EU)資料傳輸220至第一強化上鏈(EU)資料排程訊息215容許之B節點110。若B節點排程之強化上鏈(EU)資料傳輸並不足以傳輸無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)105緩衝之強化上鏈(EU)資料,無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)105係可以傳輸強化上鏈(EU)資料傳輸220,且,強化上鏈(EU)資料傳輸220係可以具有詳細流量量測(TVM)資訊以表示無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)105緩衝之資料數量近似。或者,詳細流量量測(TVM)資訊亦可以表示各個關連流量優先性類別之緩衝資料數量或強化上鏈(EU)專用頻道(EU-DCH)之映射邏輯頻道。詳細流量量測(TVM)資訊係可以利用強化上鏈(EU)資料於第二層(layer 2)或第三層(layer 3)進行多工。在第二層(layer 2)中,詳細流量量測(TVM)資訊可以利用強化上鏈專用頻道(EU-DCH)媒體存取控制(MAC)表頭進行識別,且,在第三層(layer 3)中,詳細流量量測(TVM)資訊可以利用無線資源控制(RRC)或其他等效第三層(layer 3)信號發送實體進行信號發送。強化上鏈(EU)資料傳輸220係可以複數獨立物理傳輸。

(WTRU)105隨後取得額外之強化上鏈(EU)資料以後,無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)105係可以選擇回報更新之流量量測(TVM)資訊至B節點110。隨後,B節點110係可以經由後續強化上鏈(EU)資料排程訊息225a-225n,藉以排程由無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)105至B節點110之後續強化上鏈(EU)資料傳輸。
第3圖係表示無線通信系統100之信號流示意圖,當強化上鏈(EU)資料排程訊息容許之單一或複數強化上鏈(EU)資料排程訊息係足以傳輸無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)105之緩衝器120儲存之全部強化上鏈(EU)資料時。強化上鏈(EU)資料305係可以利用無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)105產生、並可以儲存於無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)105之緩衝器120。當緩衝器120之強化上鏈(EU)資料數量超過建立之強化上鏈(EU)資料緩衝器臨界值,無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)105係可以經由強化上鏈(EU)信號發送頻道,藉以傳送啟始流量量測(TVM)資訊要求訊息310至B節點110。
無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)105傳送之強化上鏈(EU)資料傳輸並不需要利用B節點排程,當建立之強化上鏈(EU)資料緩衝器臨界值並未超過。
接著,請持續參考第3圖,在收到啟始流量量測(TVM)資訊要求訊息310以後,B節點110係可以經由強化上鏈(EU)資料排程訊息315,藉以排程無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)105及B節點110間之單一或複數強化上鏈(EU)資料傳輸320。基於接收之強化上鏈(EU)資料排程訊息315,無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)315係可以傳送強化上鏈(EU)資料排程訊
息315容許之單一或複數強化上鏈(EU)資料傳輸320。若強化上鏈(EU)資料排程訊息315容許之強化上鏈(EU)資料傳輸320係足以傳輸無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)105緩衝之全部強化上鏈(EU)資料,無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)105之緩衝器120之全部強化上鏈(EU)資料係可以傳送至B節點。另外,額外之流量量測(TVM)回報係可以省略,因為無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)105係可以瞭解:沒有額外強化上鏈(EU)資料會傳送至B節點110。
優先性類別或邏輯頻道之關連資料/流量量測(TVM)之媒體存取控制(MAC-d)信號流係可以儲存於B節點110,藉以獲得更精確之頻道設置及更有效率之無線資源利用。B節點110係可以利用流量量測(TVM)及關連優先性,藉以基於無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)105提供之額外流量量測(TVM)細節,進而建立精確度更高之後續強化上鏈(EU)資料排程。
第4圖係表示根據本發明之處理400流程圖,其中,處理400係包括由無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)105傳輸使用者資料至B節點110之方法步驟。在步驟405中,強化上鏈(EU)資料係可以利用無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)105產生、並可以儲存於無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)120之緩衝器120。在選擇性之步驟410中,儲存於無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)120之緩衝器120之強化上鏈(EU)資料數量係判斷是否超過建立之強化上鏈(EU)資料緩衝器臨界值。當儲存於無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)120之緩衝器120之強化上鏈(EU)資料數量未超過建立之強化上鏈(EU)資料緩衝器臨界值時,強化上鏈(EU)資料傳輸之進行係可以不需要容許之B節點排
程,且,全部之儲存強化上鏈(EU)資料係可以傳輸至B節點(步驟430)。當儲存於無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)120之緩衝器120之強化上鏈(EU)資料數量已超過建立之強化上鏈(EU)資料緩衝器臨界值時,無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)105係可以傳送啟始流量量測(TVM)資訊要求訊息至B節點110,藉以表示:無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)105具有欲傳送至B節點110之強化上鏈(EU)資料(步驟415)。
應該注意的是,建立之強化上鏈(EU)資料緩衝器臨界值可以設定為零。在這種情況下,無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)105之緩衝器120無論儲存任何數量之強化上鏈(EU)資料將永遠可以觸發啟始流量量測(TVM)資訊要求訊息210之傳輸。
接著,請持續參考第4圖,在步驟420中,B節點110係可以傳送強化上鏈(EU)資料排程訊息(其中,強化上鏈(EU)資料排程訊息係可以具有單一或複數容許強化上鏈(EU)資料傳輸之資訊)至無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)105,藉以排程無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)105緩衝之強化上鏈(EU)資料傳輸至B節點110。在步驟425中,無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)105係可以判斷容許強化上鏈(EU)資料傳輸是否足以傳輸全部之緩衝強化上鏈(EU)資料。若目前排程資訊容許之強化上鏈(EU)資料傳輸係足以支援緩衝器120儲存之全部強化上鏈(EU)資料,則無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)105緩衝之全部強化上鏈(EU)資料係可以在容許之強化上鏈(EU)資料傳輸期間,直接傳輸至B節點110(步驟430)。
若目前排程資訊容許之強化上鏈(EU)資料傳輸不足以支援緩衝器120儲存之全部強化上鏈(EU)資料,則無線傳輸/
接收單元(WTRU)105係可以傳輸單一或複數強化上鏈(EU)資料傳輸至B節點110,其中,強化上鏈(EU)資料傳輸係可以具有利用儲存強化上鏈(EU)資料部分進行多工之詳細流量量測(TVM)資訊(步驟435)。在步驟440中,B節點110係排程及傳輸單一或複數額外強化上鏈(EU)資料傳輸,直到無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)105不再具有其他緩衝強化上鏈(EU)資料。

Claims (16)
