Abstract

本發明大體而言係關於電子鎖組;特定而言,本發明係關於一種自多個來源獲取能源以延長電子鎖組中之蓄電池壽命之電路。

在圖3中所展示之實施例中,RF能源獲取電路300包含一接收器306、一電轉換電路308、一信號調節電路310及一蓄電池充電電路312。接收器306經組態以接收由RF傳輸器302傳輸之信號。如上文所論述,接收器306可被具體地調諧至RF傳輸器302以其來傳輸一信號所處之一特定頻率。在所展示之實例中,接收器306包含一選擇器314以調諧接收器306來接收對應於RF傳輸器302之一頻率。舉例而言,若使用者選擇900MHz用於RF傳輸器302之頻率,則使用者可使用選擇器314對接收器306之頻率作出一對應改變,使得接收器306被調諧至匹配由RF傳輸器302傳輸之頻率之一頻率。將自接收器306接收之
RF能源提供至一電轉換電路308,電轉換電路308將RF能源轉換成直流(「DC」)能源。熟習此項技術者應理解,可使用多種類型之RF轉DC電路。由於根據傳輸器302調諧接收器306,因此與自未知頻率尋找能源之典型RF能源獲取電路相比,此改良能源轉換效率。信號調節電路310自DC轉換電路308接收DC輸入並提供一適當輸出至蓄電池充電電路312以對蓄電池208進行再充電。
在某些情形中,一使用者會將包含一RF能源獲取電路300及一可再充電蓄電池208(其可單獨出售)之鎖組102安裝至門100上。另外,使用者會將RF傳輸器302(其可係一壁上安裝式模組)插入至最靠近門之一AC插座中。RF傳輸器302將提供一已知RF來源至鎖之RF接收器306(其被調諧至彼頻率)。因此,連續地對可再充電蓄電池進行充電。預期,此方法將降低或消除在鎖之壽命期間更換蓄電池之需要。亦將消除當使用者不在家時由於蓄電池沒電所造成之可能的閉鎖情況。
在某些實施例中,諸如在圖4及圖5中展示,RF能源獲取電路300可整合至被插入至鎖組102中之一蓄電池固持器400中。在所展示之實例中,蓄電池固持器400包含具有各自經定尺寸以接納一蓄電池之複數個凹槽404之一主體402。蓄電池固持器400展示為具有四個凹槽以接納四個蓄電池,此僅出於舉例目的;蓄電池固持器400可具有少於四個凹槽或多於四個凹槽,此取決於情形。如所展示,凹槽404中之每一者包含一正端子406及一負端子408用於與一蓄電池電耦合。在此實例中,負端子408係以一方式偏置蓄電池以將蓄電池保持在其各別凹槽中之彈簧。雖然所展示之實例性蓄電池固持器400提供通向蓄電池用於更換之入口,但涵蓋其中密封蓄電池固持器而無用於移除內部蓄電池之入口之實施例。
蓄電池固持器400包含一正觸點410及一負觸點412用於與鎖組
102中之電子設備耦合。以此方式,蓄電池固持器400中之蓄電池生成一電連接以供應電力至鎖組102中之電子設備。鎖組102包含經定尺寸以接納蓄電池固持器400之一腔。在所展示之實例中,蓄電池固持器包含允許使用者緊握蓄電池固持器以自鎖組102移除之脊414。
許多現有鎖組包含類似於蓄電池固持器400之一蓄電池固持器,但無任何RF能源獲取電路。舉例而言,此等蓄電池固持器可用於由加利福尼亞州佛瑞斯特湖市(Lake Forest)之Kwikset Corporation公司出售之名稱為SmartCodeTM之一電子鎖組中。由於蓄電池固持器400可具有與現有蓄電池固持器類似之尺寸,因此蓄電池固持器400可經改裝以與此等現有鎖組使用。使用者將僅需要用蓄電池固持器400(其包含RF能源獲取電路300)之開關來切換現有蓄電池固持器並將RF傳輸器302插入至一附近AC電插座中。以此方式,可改裝現有鎖組,其中使用蓄電池固持器400連同RF傳輸器302來以無線方式對蓄電池進行再充電。
在操作期間,使用複數個能源來源為電子鎖組(其在此實例中係一鎖定插銷106)供應電力。雖然主蓄電池充當用於電子設備之主要電源,但此複數個替代性能源來源減少主蓄電池之電力消耗,此延長蓄電池壽命。

Claims (20)
- 一種與一射頻(「RF」)傳輸器一起使用之電子鎖組,該射頻(「RF」)傳輸器經組態而以一或多個預定頻率傳輸,該電子鎖組包括:一鎖定裝置,其可在一鎖定位置與一解鎖位置之間移動;一或多個能源消耗裝置,其經組態以在該鎖定位置與該解鎖位置之間致動該鎖定裝置;至少一個可再充電蓄電池,其經組態以提供電力至該一或多個電源消耗裝置;及一RF能源獲取電路,其經組態以與該可再充電蓄電池電耦合,其中該RF電源獲取電路經組態以將RF能源轉換成一直流(「DC」)電源以用於對該可再充電蓄電池進行再充電。
- 如請求項1之電子鎖組,其中該RF能源獲取電路包含可調諧至一選定頻率之一RF接收器。
- 如請求項2之電子鎖組,其中該RF接收器可調諧至來自複數個預定頻率之一選定頻率。
- 如請求項3之電子鎖組,其中該複數個預定頻率包含900MHz、2.4GHz及5.8GHz中之一或多者。
- 如請求項1之電子鎖組,其中該電子鎖組包含經定尺寸而以可拆卸方式接納一蓄電池固持器之一腔,其中該蓄電池固持器經組態以承載該至少一個可再充電蓄電池,使得該可再充電蓄電池與該等能源消耗裝置中之該一或多者電耦合,且其中該RF能源獲取電路與該蓄電池固持器整合。

- 一種電子鎖組,其包括:一機械鎖定部分,其可在一鎖定位置與一解鎖位置之間移動;一或多個能源消耗裝置,其經組態以在該鎖定位置與該解鎖位置之間致動該機械鎖定部分;至少一個可再充電蓄電池,其經組態以提供電力至該等能源消耗裝置;一射頻(「RF」)傳輸器,其經組態以插入至一AC電源插座中,其中該RF傳輸器經組態而以一預定頻率傳輸;一RF能源獲取電路,其經組態以與該可再充電蓄電池電耦合,其中該RF電源獲取電路經組態以將自該RF傳輸器接收之RF能源轉換成一直流(「DC」)電源以用於對該可再充電蓄電池進行再充電;且其中該能源獲取電路包含可調諧至該RF傳輸器之該預定頻率之一RF接收器。
- 如請求項7之電子鎖組,其中該RF能源獲取電路與一選擇器可操作地相關聯,該選擇器經組態以將該RF接收器調諧至一選定頻率。
- 如請求項7之電子鎖組,其中該RF接收器可調諧至來自複數個預定頻率之一選定頻率。
- 如請求項9之電子鎖組,其中該複數個預定頻率包含900MHz、2.4GHz及5.8GHz中之一或多者。
- 如請求項7之電子鎖組,其中該RF傳輸器經組態而以該預定頻率實質上連續地傳輸RF能源。
- 如請求項7之電子鎖組,其中該RF傳輸器經組態而以該預定頻率週期性地傳輸RF能源。
- 如請求項7之電子鎖組,其中該電子鎖組包含經定尺寸而以可拆卸方式接納一蓄電池固持器之一腔,其中該蓄電池固持器經組態以承載該一或多個可再充電蓄電池,使得該一或多個可再充電蓄電池與該等能源消耗裝置中之該一或多者電耦合,且其中該RF能源獲取電路與該蓄電池固持器整合。
