技术领域

背景技术
电子锁具是众所周知的。这些类型的锁具在工作时需要电能。典型情况下,现有的电子锁具使用多个电池为电子装置供电。电池会随着时间的推移逐渐耗尽,最终需要更换。在更换电池之前,必须使用机械钥匙操作锁具,而这可能不方便。因此,需要一种能够降低电池的功耗的装置。
发明内容
本发明涉及一种包括多源能量收集回路的电子锁具。这种锁具收集多个代用能量源的能量以辅助电池,而不是完全依赖电池向锁具中的电子装置供电。例如,用于驱动锁具的能量可从多个源收集,例如光源、热源、振动和射频波源。通过收集这种能量以辅助电池,能够降低电池的功耗,从而延长电池寿命。
根据一个方面,本发明提供一种带有电池的电子锁具。在所述锁具中布置有可在锁定位置和解锁位置之间移动的机械锁定部。一个或多个耗能装置驱动机械锁定部在锁定位置和解锁位置之间移动。所述锁具包括转换器/聚合器模块,所述转换器/聚合器模块配置为把一个或多个非电能源转换代用电能源,并把代用电能源与由电池提供的电能整合。还布置有存储器/分配器模块,以存储整合的能源。所述存储器/分配器模块与耗能装置电气相通,以向其提供电力。

图3示出了一个示例性实施例,其中,射频能量收集回路300与锁具102整体构成。在此实施例中,射频发射器302布置为可利用插脚307插入到电插座305中,例如壁装插座。射频发射器302发射信号,该信号被射频能量收集回路300接收,以向主电池208充电。在一些实施例中,射频能量收集回路300调谐至射频发射器302的发射频率。与其它射频收集方法不同的是,射频能量收集回路300可设计或调谐至很具体的频率,因为射频发射器302以已知频率发射。因此,此实施例设计为与特定射频能源相配,而不是通过让射频能量收集回路300搜索可能存在或不存在的能源来依靠随机的射频源。
在一些实施例中,射频发射器302会以任何未经许可的频率发生信号,例如900MHz、2.4GHz、5.8GHz等,但是本发明不局限于特定频率。本领域的技术人员应理解,有很多类型的回路可用于以所需频率产生信号。在某些情况中,射频发射器302的发射频率可由用户选择,例如使用选择器304选择。例如,用户可使用选择器304选择射频发射器302的发射频率,例如通过在预定频率之间循环来选择。例如,如果用户感觉到射频发射器302所用的频率与附近的其它装置发生干扰,那么这可能是合乎需要的。例如,用户可使用选择器304把频率从900MHz改为2.4GHz或5.8MHz。本领域的技术人员应理解,可使用本领域的许多已知技术把射频发射器302调谐到用户选定的频率。选择器可以是任何类型的选择开关,例如旋钮开关、滑动开关、拨动开关、按钮开关、DIP开关等。在某些情况中,射频发射器302可基本上以预定频率连续不断地发射信号,而这能基本上连续不断地对电池208充电。在其它情况中,可能希望在一段时间内以预定频率定期发射信号。
在图3所示的实施例中,射频能量收集回路300包括接收器306、电气转换回路308、信号调节回路310、以及电池充电回路312。接收器306配置为接收由射频发射器302发射的信号。如上所述,接收器306可调节至射频发射器302发射信号的特定频率。在所示的例子中,接收器306包括选择器314,所述选择器314用于调谐接收器306,以接收与射频发射器302对应的频率。例如,如果用户选择900MHz作为射频发射器302的发生频率,那么用户可使用选择器314对接收器306的频率进行相应的更改,从而使接收器306被调谐至与射频发射器302的发射频率相符的频率。从接收器306接收的射频能量被送至电气转换回路308,电气转换回路308把射频能量转换为直流(“DC”)能量。本领域的技术人员应理解,可使用多种类型的RF-DC转换回路。由于接收器306被调谐为与发射器302频率一致,因此,与从未知频率寻求能量的典型射频能量收集回路相比,这能提高能量转换效率。信号调节回路310从直流转换回路308接收直流输入,并向蓄电池充电回路312提供适当的输出,以对电池208充电。
在某些情况中,用户会在门100上安装包括射频能量收集回路300和可充电电池208(单独销售)的锁具102。另外,用户会把射频发射器302(可以是壁装模块)插入到最靠近门的交流电插座中。射频发射器302会向锁具的射频接收器306提供已知射频源,而射频接收器306被调谐至该发射频率。因此,能连续地对可充电电池充电。这种方法有希望降低或消除在锁具的寿命期内更换电池的需求。还能消除电池在用户外出的时间内耗尽的可能的锁死状况。
在一些实施例中,例如图4和图5所示的实施例中,射频能量收集回路300可集成到插置在锁具102中的电池座400中。在所示的例子中,电池座400包括具有多个凹入部404的本体402,每个凹入部404的尺寸适合于收纳一个电池。图中所示的电池座400具有四个凹入部,可收纳四个电池,但这仅是示例性的;根据具体情况,电池座400具有的凹入部可少于四个或多于四个。如图所示,每个凹入部404包括用于与电池电耦合的正极端子406和负极端子408。在此例子中,负极端子408是使电池以某种方式偏置的弹簧,以便把电池保持在各自的凹入部中。虽然所示的示例性电池座400提供了更换电池的途径,但是本发明人也考虑了具有密封的电池座的实施例,在此情况中,无法拆卸内部电池。
电池座404包括用于与锁具102的电子装置耦合的正极触点410和负极触点412。通过这种方式,电池座400中的电池形成电连接,以向锁具102中的电子装置供电。锁具102包括腔体,所述腔体的尺寸适合于收纳电池座400。在所示的例子中,电池座包括脊部414,所述脊部414允许用户握住电池座,以便从锁具102上拆卸下来。
许多现有的锁具包括与电池座400类似的电池座,但是没有任何射频能量收集回路。例如,在位于加利福尼亚州森林湖城的KwiksetCorporation销售的SmartCodeTM电子锁具中,就有这种电池座。由于电池座400可具有与现有电池座相似的尺寸,因此可改造电池座400,以便与这些现有的锁具配合使用。用户仅需把现有电池座换为电池座400(包括射频能量收集回路300的电池座),并把射频发射器302插入到附近的交流电插座中。通过这种方式,可把现有锁具改造为具有利用电池座400和射频发射器302对电池进行无线充电的能力。
在操作过程中,可利用多个能源对电子锁具(在此例子中为插栓锁106)供电。虽然主电池作为电子装置的主电源,但是所述的多个代用能源能降低主电池的功耗,从而延长电池寿命。
虽然在上文中本发明的公开内容是参照特定装置、材料和实施例来说明的,但是本领域技术人员能够轻松认清本发明的基本特征,并且在不脱离本发明的精神和范围的前提下,能够进行各种变化和修改,以适应不同的用途和特点。

Claims (20)

1.一种电子锁具,与配置为以一个或多个预定频率发射的射频(“RF”)发射器结合使用,所述电子锁具包括:
锁定装置,能够在锁定位置和解锁位置之间移动;
一个或多个耗能装置,配置为驱动所述锁定装置在锁定位置和解锁位置之间移动;
至少一个可充电电池,配置为向所述一个或多个耗能装置供电;和
射频能量收集回路,配置为与所述可充电电池电耦合,其中,所述射频能量收集回路配置为把射频能量转换为直流(“DC”)电源,以对所述可充电电池充电。
2.如权利要求1所述的电子锁具,其中,所述射频能量收集回路包括能够调谐至选定频率的射频接收器。
3.如权利要求2所述的电子锁具,其中,所述射频接收器可从多个预定频率调谐至选定频率。
4.如权利要求3所述的电子锁具,其中,所述多个预定频率包括900MHz、2.4GHz和5.8GHz中的一个或多个。
5.如权利要求1所述的电子锁具,包括腔体,所述腔体的尺寸使其能以可分离的方式收纳电池座,其中,所述电池座配置为承载所述至少一个可充电电池,使得所述可充电电池与所述一个或多个耗能装置电耦合;并且,所述射频能量收集回路与所述电池座一体地形成。
6.如权利要求5所述的电子锁具,其中,所述电池座包括具有多个凹入部的本体,每个凹入部的尺寸使得其适合于收纳一个电池。
7.一种电子锁具,包括:
机械锁定部,能够在锁定位置和解锁位置之间移动;
一个或多个耗能装置,配置为驱动所述机械锁定部在锁定位置和解锁位置之间移动;
至少一个可充电电池,配置为向所述耗能装置供电;
射频(“RF”)发射器,配置为插入到交流电插座中,并配置为以预定频率发射;和
射频能量收集回路,配置为与所述可充电电池电耦合,其中,所述射频能量收集回路配置为把从射频发射器接收的射频能量转换为直流(“DC”)电源,以对所述可充电电池充电,
其中,所述能量收集回路包括可调谐至射频发射器的预定频率的射频接收器。
8.如权利要求7所述的电子锁具,其中,所述射频能量收集回路与选择器配合工作,所述选择器配置为把射频接收器调谐至选定频率。
9.如权利要求7所述的电子锁具,其中,所述射频接收器能够从多个预定频率调谐至选定频率。
10.如权利要求9所述的电子锁具,其中,所述多个预定频率包括900MHz、2.4GHz和5.8GHz中的一个或多个。
11.如权利要求7所述的电子锁具,其中,所述射频发射器配置为基本上连续不断地以预定频率发射射频能量。
12.如权利要求7所述的电子锁具,其中,所述射频发射器配置为定期地以预定频率发射射频能量。
13.如权利要求7所述的电子锁具,包括腔体,所述腔体的尺寸使其能以可分离的方式收纳电池座,其中,所述电池座配置为承载所述一个或多个可充电电池,使得所述一个或多个可充电电池与所述一个或多个耗能装置电耦合;并且,所述射频能量收集回路与所述电池座一体地形成。
14.如权利要求7所述的电子锁具,其中,所述射频发射器包括多个插脚。
15.一种与电子锁具结合使用的电池座,包括:
本体,包括用于接收一个或多个电池的腔体,其中,所述本体的尺寸使得其适合于被所述电子锁具收纳,以向所述电子锁具供电;和
射频(“RF”)能量收集回路,包括由所述本体承载的射频接收器,其中,所述射频能量收集回路配置为对收纳在所述本体中的所述一个或多个电池充电。
16.如权利要求15所述的电池座,其中,所述射频能量收集回路集成到所述本体中。
17.如权利要求15所述的电池座,其中,所述电池座包括具有多个凹入部的本体,每个凹入部的尺寸使其适合于收纳一个电池。
18.如权利要求15所述的电池座,其中,所述射频能量收集回路与选择器配合工作,所述选择器配置为把射频接收器调谐至选定频率。
19.如权利要求18所述的电池座,其中,所述射频接收器能够从多个预定频率调谐至选定频率。
20.如权利要求19所述的电池座,其中,所述多个预定频率包括900MHz、2.4GHz和5.8GHz中的一个或多个。
