Abstract
This invention provides a low cost reflection-reduced optical film which can be efficiently made by coating a transparent substrate film with a thermosetting coating agent for low refraction index layer containing a silicone resin material (an oligomer of alkoxysilane compound, amino silane coupling agent and a silicone graft acrylic polymer) which is free from fluorine-containing organic substituent, and performing continuously drying and thermosetting of the waiting in a drying machine. The film with the above coating avoids quality deterioration caused by tightening by take-up roller, exhibits excellent properties of anti reflection, anti-foaling, anti-drug, and anti-scratch. The anti-reflection film having a layer of near infrared ray absorption and/or neon light absorption is adapted for use as a PDP optical film.
