Abstract

A parking lot charge system and its controller are introduced. A controller having charge and entrance/exit control functions is installed at the entrance of each parking space in a parking lot. Each controller is connected to a main frame computer. Therefore, a driver can get an ID from the controller when the car is parked at a proper place. When the drive is back to get his car, the ID is fed to the controller. If the ID is correct, proceed the charge paying procedure. After finishing the charge paying procedure, the car is permitted to be driven out of the parking space. As such, the car entrance record and charge payment procedures are completed at the parking space to effectively raise the efficiency of car placing and picking.
