Abstract

Bir titanyum alaşımlı iş parçasının tanecik boyutunu inceltme yöntemleri, iş parçasını beta tavlamayı, beta tavlanmış iş parçasının titanyum alaşımının beta transus sıcaklığının altındaki bir sıcaklığa soğutulmasını ve iş parçasının yüksek gerginlik oranlı çok eksenli dövülmesini içerir. Titanyum alaşımlı iş parçasında toplam en az 1 olan bir gerginlik elde edilene kadar ya da titanyum alaşımlı iş parçasında toplam en az 1 olan ila 3,5 olan bir gerginlik elde edilene kadar yüksek gerginlik oranlı çok eksenli dövme kullanılır. İş parçasının titanyum alaşımı, alfa fazı çökelmesini ve büyüme kinetiğini azaltmak için etkili olan, tanecik sabitleme alaşım ilavelerinden ve beta stabilize edici içerikten en az birini içerebilir.
