Abstract
Buluş, cam elyaf takviyeli bir plastik atığın hem organik bölümünün hem de inorganik bölümünün (cam elyaflar), ağırlık olarak %95'ten daha yüksek oranda geri kazanılmış organik bir verimle geri kazanılmasını ve yeni ürünlerin, özellikle de cam elyaf takviyeli plastik ürünlerin üretilmesi için uygun olan ve boşaltma alanlarındaki bertarafı için karlılık sağlayan kontrollü bir karbon dioksit ortamının varlığında gerçekleştirilen bir piroliz prosesine ilişkindir. Özellikle, geri kazanılmış organik ürünler, %20 ve daha fazla bir oranda, normal olarak ortak cam elyaf takviyeli plastik ürünlerin imal edilmesinde ve sadece yeni reçineden başlayarak yapılan ürünler özelliklerine zarar vermeden kullanılan yeni doymamış polyester reçinelerle karıştırılabilir. Pirolizden sonra bir yanma işleminde tamamen geri kazanılan cam elyafları, prosesin son adımında kırılmamış ve tamamen temiz olduklarından, tamamen karşılık gelen işlenmemiş cam elyafların yerine kullanılır.
