Bu bulus bir rezervuar veya sise tipasi gibi bir ürünün dirsek seklinde çikinti yapan kismini korumak için olan ve adi geçen kisim üzerine isi ile esnetilmek üzere çikinti yapan kisim üzerine isi ile esnetilip çekilmek üzere tasarlanan çikarilabilir bir elemanla ilgilidir. Dirsek (4) adi geçen çikinti yapan kisim üzerine çekilmeden önce genel bir sekle sahip çikintili kisma (mandrel 2) göre önceden olusturulur. Dirsegin (4, 4A) bir ucu (41; 42 4A) ve bu uçtan baslayan belirli bir uzunlugun (423 A) enine kesiti çikinti yapan kismin (2) enine kesitinin en genis kismindan daha genistir. Dirsegin diger ucunun yivli bir kenari (422A) vardir, bu kenarin serbest ucunun (421A) enine kesiti çikinti yapan serbest ucun enine kesitinden daha küçüktür.
