Bir mafsalli baglantida sizdirmazligi saglayan conta (1), elastikiyet kazandirilarak sekli degistirilmis kivrimli körük (25) olarak olusturulmustur. Bu kivrimli körügün (25) her iki ucunda (3,10) eksenel olarak yapilmis halkali bilezikler (4,11) öngörülmüstür. Bu halkali bilezikler, silindirik olarak olusturulmus bir baglanti halkasi ve bir saft üzerindeki contayi (1) sikma bilezigi (7,11) yardimiyla tesbit etmeye yarar. Birbirinden farkli büyüklükteki baglanti halkalarinin tesbit edilmesi için çok sayida, çapta kademelendirilmis halkali bilezikler (11) üst üste dizilmistir. Halkali bilezigin (11) iç tarafta kalan ucunda, radyal olarak içe dogru çekilmis bir pervaz (16) yapilmistir. Bu pervaz baglanti halkasinin ön tarafina sizdirmayi önleyecek sekilde dayanmaktadir. Yeterli derecede bir sizdirmazlik etkisinin elde edilmesi için pervazin (16) iç tarafta kalan çapinin bir sonra gelen halkali bilezigin (11) iç tarafinda kalan çapindan küçük ya da buna esit olmasi gerekir.
