DC60 (January 22, 2010) This integrated waste disposal system utilizes a hygienic approach to waste management. It can reuse waste as renewable energy, providing a new alternative energy source. The process involves several steps: waste is sorted, separating recyclable waste, treating odors with microorganisms and ozone, and anaerobic digestion in a closed system preventing leakage of liquids and gases. The remaining methane and residue from anaerobic digestion are used to produce compost and liquid organic fertilizer. Separated inorganic waste is then sent to recycling plants for further sorting. The entire disposal process leaves no accumulated waste. There is no leakage of liquids or gases from the digester. 1. The integrated waste disposal system comprises interconnected equipment and machinery, including automatic weighing and recording systems, conveyor belts, waste sorting belts, air suction pipes, and anaerobic biogas digesters. The process begins with garbage trucks delivering waste to the disposal center. The waste passes through an automatic weighing and recording system, then is separated using a combination of manual and machine labor. Black bags and plastic bags are first cut open to separate the plastic bags, yielding inorganic waste, organic waste, and liquid. Specifically, inorganic waste is then sent to the sorting belt for further separation. This process removes all inorganic waste and categorizes it by type. Contaminated waste is washed or treated with microorganisms before being released from the disposal center. This stage utilizes an ozone odor control system. An ozone suction pipe above the sorting belt draws air together, which is then treated with ozone inside the sorting building. Air flows only into the building and is forced out through an air suction system after being treated with ozone before being released outside. Inorganic waste is separated and recycled. Importantly, the remaining water and organic waste flow through a collection channel, undergoing another fine sorting process before entering an anaerobic biogas digester. This closed system kills all pathogens during this process. The digestion takes 90 days from the start of waste fermentation. A mixture of 1,000 kg of methane is used for every 50 tons of waste and 15 cubic meters of water. This process yields two products: methane gas and organic residue. The remaining methane gas and organic residue from the anaerobic digestion are separated into two parts: one part fiber and one part liquid. The fibrous organic residue is then used in composting to produce compost, while the liquid organic residue is used in liquid fertilizer production. In this final step, no accumulated waste is left behind.
