------14/03/2568------(OCR) OCR 09WP The extraction process from cumin seeds for controlling nutgrass is as follows: Cumin seeds are dried and finely ground in a centrifuge, then soaked in ethanol at a ratio of dried cumin seed powder to ethanol of 1:2 by weight to volume (W/V). The extracted liquid is then evaporated using a centrifuge to obtain cumin seed extract. A cumin seed extract at a concentration of 10 g/L completely inhibits the growth of nutgrass seedlings in four aspects (stem height, stem width, leaf width, and leaf length) (achieving the highest average inhibition percentage of weed seedling growth, at 100%).

------14/03/2568------(OCR) OCR 09WP 1. The method for extracting compounds from cumin seeds to control nutgrass is as follows: a. Selection of complete cumin seeds, removing defective ones, involves drying the seeds at 60°C for 3 days and weighing 1,000 grams. b. The dried cumin seeds from step a are then ground into a powder using a grinder. The powder is then soaked in ethanol. The ratio of dried cumin powder to ethanol is 1:2 by weight to volume (W/V), meaning 1,000 grams of dried cumin powder to 2,000 milliliters of ethanol. The mixture is then left to stand for 3 days. Afterwards, the ethanol-soaked cumin seed water is filtered twice using cheesecloth to obtain the cumin seed extract. The solvent is then evaporated using a centrifugal evaporator. The resulting cumin seed extract is stored in a dark glass bottle and sealed tightly.
