Description

To support the bottom of the basket to be produced, there is a basic board with holes for the grids of the proposed fixture, which is rotatable near the axis, with which the exact braiding is achieved; when an intermediate river is placed between the above board and the bottom of the fixture, the product is strengthened.

Making a basket using the described fixture has the disadvantage that the openings of the bottom 3 must strictly coincide with the holes of the main board 2. To eliminate this disadvantage, which complicates the manufacture of baskets, an intermediate board can be installed between the main board and the bottom

The lugs 3 of the laths protruding from under the bottom can then be bent slightly to one side and inserted into the corresponding hole of the main board 2, which has a large number of holes, located close to each other in a concentric manner. The overlaid distributed board for the bottom can be of any shape and it will be possible to insert the ends 5 into one of the holes of the main board 2.

In the manufacture of baskets from willow, a modification of the device is used;

7, fastened in height with screws (Fig. 3), in this figure, the intermediate board 6 is provided with radially directed longitudinal slits, so that the sieves do not pass around its circumference, but pass through the indicated slots. Due to the long ends of the lath, going under the bottom 3, it is possible to use willow for weaving. The length of the ends 5 depends mainly on the shape and strength of the material.

Therefore, the invention refers mainly to the interweaving of solid, massive bottoms. The latter can be made of strong frames (Figs. 4 and 5), and the remaining inner part 8 can be filled with a sturdy or woven bottom.

Making baskets using the described device is equally suitable for different forms of baskets, and the flange of the bottoms does not require special treatment, since the bottom can be woven immediately after receiving it from a stamping device or from a cutting machine.
