Description
(54) METHOD FOR AUTOMATIC CONTROL OF FLOTATION PROCESS
The invention relates to methods for automatically controlling the flotation process, and may find use in the enrichment of graphite in processes. flotation. A known method of controlling the flotation process, according to which the quantity and quality of the initial feed is separately controlled, the control signals are multiplied and the received signal after propagation is used as a control for local control systems of the flotation process, in particular, the consumption of reagents 1. The disadvantage of this method is that it does not provide an increase in the main technological indicator of the flotation process — extraction of the useful component, which is due to the fact that, in a known way. For control purposes, information about the quantity and quality of the concentrate at the exit of the flotation process is not used, and the parameters of the initial feed cannot unambiguously characterize such a complex physical and chemical process as flotation. A known method of automatically controlling the flotation process is based on measuring the content of the useful component in the feed, concentrate and tails, determining the ratio of the useful component in the concentrate and tails and changing the reagent consumption in it during process 2. The disadvantage of this method is the low accuracy of control over the process of graphite flotation, since the dependence of the ash content of grades of graphite on the ash content of the concentrate is not taken into account directly. The purpose of the invention is to improve the accuracy of process control.
