Description
3-6(5) COMPOSITION FOR THE BOROALITATION OF STEEL PRODUCTS The invention relates to metallurgy, in particular to chemical and thermal treatment, namely to compositions for co-saturation of articles made of metals and alloys with boron and aluminum. The composition can be used to increase the wear resistance of machine parts, tools and tooling in the engineering, metallurgical, machine tool and other industries. A boron catalytic composition is known, containing mas, boric anhydride 10–15, aluminum (powder) 15–20, sodium fluoride 0.5–2.0, aluminum oxide, the rest. The process of boron catalyzing steel in this composition takes place at 850-1050 C for 5-6 hours. Thus, during boron-alteration, diffusion layers with a thickness of 55 and 50 µm, respectively, L1J, are formed during h for steels k5 and V8. The disadvantage of the composition is its low saturation ability. The closest to the invention is a boron-catalytic composition containing, by weight: boron oxide, aluminum (powder) 24-26, potassium fluoroborate 5-15 alumina - the rest 2. However, as with the previous composition, its saturating capacity is not large enough. The purpose of the invention is to increase the saturability of the composition. This goal is achieved by using additional boron alum, which is a normal sulfuric acid double salt, having the formula MK (in the following ratio of components, wt .:) containing boron oxide, alumina powder, aluminum powder and potassium fluoride borate, which contains the following ratio of components, wt .: Boron Oxide 20-25 Aluminum (Powder) 20-25 Potassium Fluoroborate 3-6

Процесс диффузионного бороалитировани в предлагаемом составе провод т при 700-1050°С в течение 2-6 м (в зависимости от требуемой толщины диффузионного сло ).Alumina Else All materials are used in the form of powders. The process of diffusion boronization in the proposed composition is carried out at 700-1050 ° C for 2-6 m (depending on the required thickness of the diffusion layer).
