Description

(54) SOLUTION FOR ELECTROCHEMICAL POLISHING TITANIUM ALLOYS

Claims (1)

С 25 F 3/26, 1976.The invention relates to the electrochemical machining of metals, in particular to the polishing of titanium alloys, mainly VTZ-1 and VT20. The solution for electrochemical polishing of titanium alloys VT1-0 and OT-4, containing sulfuric and hydrofluoric acid and urotropin GO, is closest to the invention. However, polishing of alloys such as VTZ-1 and VT20 in this solution is not effective enough. The aim of the invention is to increase the surface cleanliness class. This goal is achieved by the fact that the solution containing sulfuric and hydrofluoric acids additionally contains ammonium bifluoride, sulfamic acid and potassium fluorotitanate in the following ratio of components, g / l Sulfuric acid 950-960 Hydrofluoric acid 50-55 Ammonium fluoride 185-I90 Sulfamic acid Acid65-70 Potassium fluorotitanate 18–20 The process of re-cooling of the re-assembly is carried out at 25–50 ° C, current density 40–60 A / dm, voltage 8–10 V for 4–6 min. The introduction of sulfamic acid contributes to the smoothing and gloss of the surface, ammonium bifluoride to increase the conductivity of the solution, potassium fluorotitanate to increase the efficiency (stability) of the solution. The stability of the solution is 500-515 A h / l, and after the first adjustment to a complete replacement - 2000 2015 A.Ch./L. The table shows the composition of the known and proposed solutions, mode and the results of their treatment. As can be seen from the table, the proposed solution allows to reduce the surface roughness and, consequently, increase the surface purity of titanium alloys by grade 1-2. The invention can be used in machine building in order to improve the quality and reliability of parts and to obtain a decorative appearance of products. The invention of the solution for electrochemical polishing of titanium alloys, predominantly of the brand VTZ-1 and VT20, containing sulfuric and hydrofluoric acid, characterized in that it also contains ammonium bifluoride, sulfamic acid and potassium fluorotitanate in order to increase the surface purity class , g / l; Sulfuric acid 950-960 Hydrofluoric acid 50-55 Ammonium bifluoride 185-190 Sulfamic acid 65-70 Potassium fluorotitanate 18-20 Sources of information taken to vyushanie. during examination 1.
