Действие приспособлени  заключаетс  в том, что самолет, будучи прикреплен к рейке 3, удерживаетс  на месте через сцепление рейки с зубчатым колесом 2 до того момента, когда мотор разовьет силу т ги, достаточную дл  преодолени  силы торможени  ленточного тормоза, после чего рейка 3 может быть освобождена и самолет получает возможность движени  вперед.
