Description

The proposed method is an improvement of the known method of electric arc welding on alternating or direct current with the help of coated electrodes on the Slavonic method and relates mainly to butt welding of longitudinal seams on pipes or sheets of steel.

On. The drawing shows a device for implementing the method.

The coated electrodes 2 are clamped into a common electrode holder 1, which with the help of a tripod is installed at a certain distance to the surface of the part to be welded 3. A tripod is installed to fix the gap between the elactrodes and the part.

4.The secondary winding of the transformer 4 is connected to the electrode holder 1 and to the welded part 3.

Upon initiation of a volt arc between the part and one of the end electrodes, the welding electrode will begin to melt, as a result of which it will become shorter. This will cause the arc to be excited on the adjacent electrode, which is closer to the surface of the welded part than the first electrode.

The process of running over the arc from the electrode to the electrode occurs along the entire length of the welded shv and pro. It continues until all the electrodes are not shortened by the TC, after which the weld weld process will be completed and the arc will go out.

The main advantages of the proposed method of semi-automatic arc welding are the simplicity of the entire device, the absence of a special mechanism for supplying electrodes to the product being welded, accessibility for wide distribution and saving energy and metal compared to manual arc welding.

Subject invention

The method of semi-automatic arc welding of grooves, excluding ICH, is established by installing a row of coated electrodes fixed in a common electrode holder along the welding seam, so that after initiating the arc between the outer electrode and the arc, as the electrode melts and shortens, passed from one electrode to another, carried out welding of a seam.
