Tracking automatic corrector of arbitrary distortion of the phase-frequency characteristics of the television channel 50 communication works as follows.
2.Phase correctors 2 tuned to the frequency of the packets of oscillations of the television signal of the test line 0.5; 1.5; 2.8; 4.43; 5 MHz and operating 55 at their individual discrete sections of the phase-frequency characteristic of the path, are controlled by resistors 13 and have bell-shaped curves of group delay times. Each phase corrector 2 acts only on a given section of the path range and practically does not affect other sections; therefore, the proposed device has a maximum degree of freedom and rapid convergence. These qualities are realized by eliminating arbitrary distortions of the phase-frequency characteristics of the path. The line with the test signal is selected using the selector 5, the pulse from which triggers a series of serially connected single-vibrators 11. A sequence of key U-shaped pulses (equal to the duration of the corresponding oscillation packets) is formed, which are alternately applied to the electronic keys 7, opening them at the moment of receipt of the corresponding package vibrations. Separate packets arrive at the phase discriminators 8, at the output of which pulses of a certain value are determined, depending on the phase distortion at a given point of the phase-frequency characteristic. The resulting pulses are fed to separation amplifiers 9, where the pulses are compared with the reference level, the output of which emits pulses of a certain sign, depending on the distortion of the phase – frequency characteristic. The received pulses are fed to the binary difference counters 10 pulses, each of which controls the corresponding resistors 13. Thus, with the help of the test signal oscillation packet, a corresponding rise or fall of the group deceleration time is carried out in a separate discrete section of the range where this phase corrector 2 operates.
Tracking automatic corrector .. arbitrary distortions of the phase-frequency characteristics of the television communication channel allows you to continuously maintain arbitrary linear distortions in the norm, eliminating them immediately as they arise, it increases the efficiency of television paths and, in addition, along with other measures, reduces staff workers serving television channels.
