Description
(54) METHOD FOR ROLLING
This invention relates to rolling nporrj. management, in particular to rolling technology on crimp, continuous billet and large-sized machines in the production of high-grade semi-finished products. There is a known method of rolling billets, which includes the sequential formation of an ingot in a number of calibers, formed by several strands aligned across the width of several simultaneously, mainly three, connected together by bridges across the width of the blanks and separating the blanks from each other 1. A disadvantage of the known method is decrease in rolling accuracy and quality of extreme blanks due to the lack of self-centering of the ingot during rolling in the first pass. The proposed billet dredging method differs from the well-known one in that, during the rolling process, it predominantly presses the billet in the zone of the future formation of the middle thread, for which one of the billet diagonals of the billet is combined with the middle brook of the multi-strand curb. FIGS. 1-5 show the sequential rolling pattern of three ingot billets simultaneously, explaining the method described. The ingot 1 cast into the mold (see FIG. 1) is heated to the rolling temperature and fed to the Rolling Mill. For the first two passes with turning, they eliminate the taper of the ingot along its length. Then the ingot (see Fig.2) is turned (turned over), for example, by means of tilting rollers by 45, i.e. One diagonal of the cross section of the ingot 1 becomes parallel to the vertical axis of the middle brook 2. During the rolling process, this diagonal and the vertical axis of the middle brook 2 are aligned. Holding the ingot 1 in this position, it is set in the first shaped caliber (see fig.Z). At the same time (since the cross-section of the stitch is square and the side walls of the gauge are inclined at an angle of 45 ° to the roll axis) the ingot is self-centered in the caliber. In danneippem, reducing the gap between the rolls, form ipi "workpiece 3-5 (see Fig.4 and 5), which then
