Description

The invention relates to compositions of solutions on liquid glass and can be used in the manufacture of mortars, heat-resistant and acid-resistant concretes.
1.A known hardener for liquid glass solutions is finely ground metallic silicon or silicon iron 1.
2.Also known is the closest to the technical essence and the achieved result is a hardener for liquid-glass solutions - sodium silicofluoride, introduced in an amount of 12-15% by weight of liquid glass 2.
The disadvantage of these hardeners is the low strength of the products.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the strength of the solutions.
%:This goal is achieved by the fact that the proposed hardener for liquid-glass solutions based on a silicon-containing component contains ethyl silicate as an silica-containing component and additionally higher fatty acids in the following ratio, wt. %:
94,5-99,9Ethyl silicate 94,5-99,9
0,1- 5,5Higher fatty acids 0.1-5.5
The hardener is a homogeneous liquid solution which is prepared by dissolving higher fatty acids in ethyl silicate. Stearin, a mixture of stearic and palmitic acids, is used as higher fatty acids; oleic acid can be used. Acids are administered alone or in combination with each other.
Liquid glass, which is in a mortar mixture, interacts with both components of the silicone hardener. The reaction between the liquid glass and the higher fatty acids occurs instantly, resulting in the formation of soaps that remove the separation of ethyl silicate from the solution, and the modulus of the liquid glass increases and the hardening of the liquid glass solution is accelerated. The interaction between liquid glass and ethyl silicate occurs gradually, which provides liquid mobility of the mortar mixture for a certain time.
Example. Prepare a liquid-moving mortar mixes.
1.The composition of the known and proposed solution is given in Table. one.

2.The composition and properties of the hardener are given in table. 2
As can be seen from the table. 2, the strength of solutions by stretching is 5 times higher than in solutions with sodium silicofluoride. The strength properties of solutions have high values of all contents of higher fatty acids. The boundary values of higher fatty acids in the hardener are chosen from the following considerations: when the content of higher fatty acids is in an amount of 0.1%, the separation is eliminated.
