Изобретение относитс к обработке металлов давлением и может быть исполь зовано при переработке металлического лома, в частности отходов инструментального производства. Известен способ разделени материало включающий закалку материала и последующее разделение l. Недостатком известного способа в-л етс то, что он не позвол ет раздел ть пластины из быстрорежущей стали от пластин из конструкционной стали .металлолома режущего инструмента. Известен также способ извлечени быстрорежущих вставок из режущего ин- струмента путем отделени быстрорежущих вставок от держател из конструкционной стали f2j Этот способ не позвол ет качественно отдел ть инструментальную сталь от конструкционной из-за возникающих в процессе разделени трудностей, так как НЕШИЧИ8 тугоплавких карбидов и окислов у быстрорежущей стали позвол ет вести разку только а некотором удалении от места стыка в сторону конструкционной стали, при этом быстрорежуща сталь поступает на переработку уже не в чистом виде, а с остатками конструкционной стали; необходимость редварительного определени места стыка быстрорежущей и конструкционн 5й стали, например, при помощи химического травлени . Это достигаетс тем, что отделение осуществл ют путем нагрева до температуры , превышающей темпер&туру закалки быстрорежущей стали, и последующего охлаждени .
