Description

The existing methods of producing wavy reinforced glass are based on imparting a wavy shape of flat reinforced glass prepared in the usual way. Such production methods limit the mass production of corrugated glass, in addition, the glass that is subjected to secondary processing will naturally be of degraded quality, since in case of conversion of flat reinforced glass to wavy, some grid displacements and the appearance of stresses in glass are inevitable.

Из вальцов стекло выходит в виде готового издели .The proposed method of producing wavy reinforced glass completely eliminates the noted disadvantages. Unlike the now existing periodic method, this method is a continuous method of production; It consists in the fact that the glass melt flowing out of the furnace slit through the tray and the metal mesh placed in the glass are fed into a pair of rolling rollers, each of which has concave and convex surfaces in accordance with the shape of the finished product. From the rollers the glass comes out in the form of the finished product.

The mesh, before entering it into the forming glass, bends in accordance with the shape of the product in a pair of rollers, which are installed in front of the rollers forming the glass.

FIG. 1 shows wavy reinforced glass; in fig. 2 - scheme of the proposed method of production.

The glass melt from the furnace 2 through the slot enters the tray 3 and from there onto the first pair of rolling rollers 4 and 5 rotating towards each other. Rollers 4 and 5 have wavy surfaces. Their arrangement is such that the concavity of one corresponds to the convexity of the other - and vice versa.

The slit of the wavy profile between the rollers determines the shape of the waves of the rolled glass ribbon. Glass feed is supplied from a tray along the entire length of the rollers. The rolls are cooled from the inside by flowing water. The wire mesh from the roll 6 is fed to the rollers 7. The rollers 7 also have a wavy surface exactly the same as the rollers 4 and 5. They prepare the wire mesh. After passing between the rollers 7, a wavy wire mesh is guided to the rollers 4 and 5, and here it is rolled into a glass melt. Roller 5 has protruding rollers for seaming the mesh into glass melt. After the passage of rollers 4 and 5, the ribbon of wavy reinforced glass passes through rollers 8. The surfaces of these rollers are also wavy, from the inside they are cooled with water. The purpose of this pair of rollers is to roll up, level the surfaces of the wavy tape. After the rollers 8, a wavy glass reinforced glass ribbon / conveyor 9 is transferred to a horizontal layer 10. Subject of the invention 1. A method for the continuous production of wavy reinforced glass, which means that the glass mass and metal mesh that comes out of the furnace slit are placed in glass is fed into a pair of rolling rollers, each of which has concave and convex surfaces in accordance with the shape of the finished product, from which the glass emerges as a finished product. 2. A method according to Claim 1, characterized in that the grid is pre-bent before entering it into the forming glass in accordance with the shape of the products in a pair of rollers mounted in front of the rollers forming the glass.
