Способ термической возгонки фосфора заключаетс  в том, что в шихту, которую загружают в доменную нли электропечь, соето ш чо из фосфата, углеродсодержащего и кремнийеодержащего материала, добавл ют плавиковый шпат. Количество и состав шпата определ ют в зависимости от величины концентрации фтора в газах, а также от состава исходной шихты. Например, при добавлении к шихте 4% плавикового шпата количество фтора в газах возрастает в 2-4 раза в зависимости от содержани  фтора в исходной шихте и в плавиковом шпате, а также в зависимости от режима возгонки.
