Description
Existing methods for increasing the yields of tanning substances from various kinds of tanning raw materials are based on extracting the material at elevated temperature and pressure. At the same time, part of the difficultly soluble tannins are extracted, but when cooled, they precipitate out of solution. To peptize these difficultly soluble tannic plants, sulfitization is used with vigorous, many-hour boiling with acidic or moderate sodium sulfite, after which the difficultly soluble tannids become soluble. Were attempts to sulphite tannids directly into tannic raw materials, by extracting the material not with water, but with solutions of sulphite or bisulphite, in the same way as lignin is sulphitized during pulping. However, due to the high consumption of reagents of high ash content and relatively low purity of such extracts, these methods are not included in the practice of leather production.
(99)This new method aims at the most complete and rapid extraction of the entire tannid part of tanning raw material, which is achieved by under. (99)
Изобретатели исход т из иавестности того, что при подщелачивании таннидных растворов происходит повышение их дисперсности, обратимое при обратном подкислении.water alkalinization with ammonia up to the optimum pH of extraction determined for each of the tanning agents treated. The inventors proceed from the validity of the fact that alkalinization of tannid solutions leads to an increase in their dispersity, reversible upon reverse acidification.
Опыты аммиачной экстракции растительных дубителей в герметически закрытых сосудах установили возможность: 1) получить почти удвоенное количество таннидов по сравнению с обычными методами, 2) получить малозольный дубильный экстракт высокой доброкачественности , 3) регенерировать почти полностью аммиак, возвратив его в производство .Experiments on ammonia extraction of vegetable tanning agents in hermetically sealed vessels have established the ability to: 1) get almost twice the amount of tannides compared to conventional methods, 2) get a low-quality low-ash tannic extract, 3) regenerate ammonia almost completely, returning it to production.
7,2%.Example. Dubova wood chips. The composition of tannides-3.8, not tannids-1.7, is extracted in closed autoclaves at t-50–70 ° in ammonia solution in such an amount that the pH of the tail diffuser is about 10. After the distillation of ammonia under vacuum, together with with most of the water, the yield of the dry residue is 12.0 ° C, pH 5.5. After acidification of the concentrate to 5, a precipitate forms. Analysis of the concentrate after its dilution: soluble-82.5, insoluble-17, 5, tapnid-58.4, not tannid-34, 1; . The output of tannins from wood is 7.2%.
После сульфит рованк обычным гутем отцентрофугированного осадка последний нацело пептизируетс .After the sulphite is fed with a conventional gutem of a centrifuged sediment, the latter is completely peptized.
11,.Example P. willow bark. Ingredients: tannids 8.5, not tannds 7.6. Extraction with 10% NHg solution at, 2, at t pe 70 °. After boiling ammonia and a portion of water under vacuum, the pH will drop to 6.2. The yield of solids 24.1. After acidification to pH 4.0, a precipitate formed. Analysis of the acidified extract: soluble-86.4, insoluble-15.6, taninid-47.7, netnany-38.7; . Output of tannids from measles 11 ,.
Insoluble are easily sulphitized.
Thus, extraction tanning materials with ammonia solutions
в предохран ющих от окислени услови х , выход дубильных веществ повыщаетс на 30-45о/о, не счита сульфит :ро;;аниых нершггворамых, которые представл ют собой также танниды.in the conditions preventing oxidation, the tannins yield is increased by 30-45 o / o, not counting the sulfite: ro ;; anichy nershgamor, which are also tannins.
Ammonia solutions of tannins are boiled in vacuum tubes using conventional techniques, ammonia is collected and concentrated, and condensed tannid solutions are acidified to neutralize traces of ammonia to an optimum pH value. The precipitate formed (flobaphenes) is easy to sulfitate.
