В патентах Леона Лилиенфельда (герм. пат. KsNs 504226, 535393 и др.) предлагаютс способы получени искусственной кожи из смеси бензилцеллюлозы с бензилкрахмалом . Эти способы имеют тот недостаток, что дл них требуютс выделенные в чистом виде бензилцеллю .лоза и бензилкрахмал Хот приготовление того и другого материала не вл етс сложной операцией, особенно в от-1 ношении крахмала, но процесс очистки сложен и дорог. Бензилирование чистой целлюлозы достаточно разработано р дом американских, германских и понских исследований и у нас Институтом пластических масс Но нет нигде упоминани на возможность получени техни- j чески ценного продукта путем бензили- роваии целиком, например, древесной муки или опилок. Между тем, такое бензилиронание, как показали опыты, п определенных услови х ведет к образованию весьма интересных своеобразных продуктов. Эти продукты, после соответствующей гомогенизации, весьма напоминают кожу, резину и тому подобные материалы и могут найти широкое применение или в качестве пластификаторов, например, дл резиновых смесей, или, в смесиThe patents of Leon Lilienfeld (Germ. В результате бензилировани получаетс смесь продуктов с различной степенью растворимости в органических растворител х. Но эта смесь при нагревании под давлением (например, в пальцах , под прессом, в мешалках) с такими веществами как: камфара, нафталин, антрацен, фенантрен, абиетаты и т. д., весьма легко образует почти прозрачную однородную, эластичную и доиольно прочную механически массу.
